What happened in Turkish football today? 16/10/2019

Turkey needs to make its argument about salute in strong manner.

Conversation at Turkish and European media regarding of Turkish National Team army salute given after goals scored against Andorra and France carries on being discussed actively, especially when UEFA would start investigation.

Once again we would like to state that European community is showing overeaction for this action, providing much more meanings for this behaviour which is not there. In return, Turkish media started referring to times when some foreign players, including Antoinne Griezmann after getting World Cup 2018 title has provided salute to president of France Macron. Its need to be stated however, this comparisons are also wrong and not in place since there were not done in different circumstances which Turkey is showing right now. If Griezmann also had message without doubt, it was still not when country had any military or terrorist operation while Turkish actions has been place in such condition. It is important, in our view mistake which sometimes Turkey makes, is to defend its rights in way which is on topic. As examples taken from other contexts could provide Turkey to look wrong when its not.

Once again providing such celebration and providing support to army in such way is on topic, but using other examples in such way is not going to make case stronger for them.

Wolverhampton are interested to transfer Galatasaray player Cristian Luyindama

Wolverhampton are interested to transfer Galatasaray player Cristian Luyindama and reported to be willing to pay 15 million euro for a player during mid-season transfer window.

It would be interesting how team would be reacting during for this offer as Luyindama without doubt would be very important player for a side in upcoming seasons but due of FFP regulations it would be looking forward for such offer, factor which been also stated by British media. Meanwhile, Luyindama might also consider this offer that even through he would not be moving to team having league title ambitions, it would be important chance to perform at Premier League and show himself in this which in all honesty could provide much better platform for going ahead with career. Therefore, if this interest from Wolverhampton is true than it would be interesting how this story would develop.
