Turkey has got historical draw against France.
Turkish National Team possibly got its most important draw in its history as it has drawn against World Champions with 1:1 scoreline at Paris amd with Kaan Ayhan has kept Turkey as leaders and 4 point advantage over Iceland.
With Kaan Ayhan goal it basically means that Turkey is very close for Euro 2020 and it means that draw against Iceland during next week would mean will secure its ticket to the competition. Coming to the game, it has been played in the manner which was expected as France has dominated game and creating chance but Turkey goalkeeper Mert Gunok has provided strong performance during whole game as he has prevented France to score goal as he became like a wall with conceded goal from Giroud he couldnt do much to prevent that position and goal. Meanwhile, it needs to be noted that when Giroud scored, it did look like Turkey might have trouble to show comeback but Kaan Ayhan had other ideas. It needs to be noted that even through France did look like it has dominated game but Turkey especially during 2nd half has provided strong defensive game when opponents has provided non stop wins.What makes this win even more pleasant is that France did play for a win. It also needs to be remembered that France did lose 4 points in this qualifier campaign and all those 4 points losses came against Turkey.
France did come out to the game with only focus to win game and it couldnt been seen from beginning of game and hence has play for a win and quite understandably looked better but in similar manner as in June it did have trouble to overpass organised Turkey defence.
Turkey did make an important draw and would now be looking for last 2 games in November with full confidence and motivation.
Olcan Adin has ended his footballing career.
Olcan Adin has announced through his social media account that he would be ending his footballing career being 34 years old and even through might not be seen among great players of this era, he does have great footballing career.
Playing among Turkish clubs through is career he did have experienced at playing with Fenerbahce, Trabzonspor and Galatasaray, experiencing his best performance at the latter club providing strong midfielding performance and being part of starting high number of attacks. In fact for most part of his career he was able to provide static performance which also led him to be selected to Turkish National Team where he did also important in number of the games without doubt, helping team with winning crucial games. It could be seen that his retirement age might not be too old, as he is only 34, but it is possible that he doesnt feel physically able to provide top level performance and also doesnt see much hope for being transferred to any team as he spend this season without club, possibly now focussing into some other areas to develop his career.
So as been mentioned, Adin didnt provide incredible performance but he would be remembered as good player especially during his Galatasaray years.
Emre Belozoglu considers to end his career at the end of the season.
Fenerbahce and Turkish National Team who has become injured during Euro 2020 qualifier against Andorra has stated that he is considering to end his footballing career at the end of upcoming season.
Injury which he has got during Andorra game rather from impact from opponent, has happened mainly due of his physical tiredness as it is not easy to provide top level performance while being 39-years old. In fact, it needs to be praised his performance as player and effort given while being in such age where many players cant even play at fun football games. But as been mentioned phisycal aspects start showing itself and with sometimes providing most effort at the field, his body start showing decline and affect his speed. Hence, its normal for him to consider ending his career at the end of the season where he hopes that Fenerbahce will win league title and Turkey getting to Euro 2020 proper tournament. Therefore, it would be expected for him to provide top level game but in same time needs to be economical with effort given by him
It would be important for Emre Belozoglu now to end this season in calm and with title as it would be suitable for legend like him.
