Akhisarspor has provided very cautious game against Umraniyespor
Akhisarspor has failed to provide very good attacking game against Umraniyespor during Turkish Cup semi-final 1st leg game but did get an important away goal thanks to Bokila goal at 87th minute with an organised game.
With Akhisarspor having poor season at the Super League, it was normal for them to provide pretty cautious game against 2nd division side of Umraniyespor as it is known that team does take right now Turkish Cup seriously as it aims to defend its title and also end season at high note as it has very poor league performance right now. With having higher experienced players, it could be seen possibly that it gave too much respect to Umraniyespor, even through taking account how team has come to this game it did deserve respect for sure. In 2nd half, compare to 1st half, Akhisarspor has provided better attacking game still as it felt likely that it can beat this opponent with performances of both sides after 1st half and now has ended this game with an advantage for 2nd leg.
With having advantage at this tie, Akhisarspor is likely to provide more confident game at 2nd leg but it needs to stay focussed of course as this advantage is small one.
Umraniyespor didnt show much effective game.
Even through and due of status of the team it wasnt expected high aims from Umraniyespor, but it needs to be stated that when comparing its performance against Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor their were some expectations.
Umraniyespor didnt still provide similar level performance against Akhisarspor, as their did with other opponents, possibly getting feeling pressure from being at Turkish Cup semi-final stage. It did provide in similar manner as opponent, precautious game which quite naturally led for game to have limited amount of the chances at both sides. Umraniyespor in some times though did provide some good moment and for most of 1st half has controlled game and possession but didnt provide needed touches with last passes and touches. With Akhisarspor providing much more stronger game during 2nd half, it wasnt able to find right reaction and only has created chances with some of the chances as game has continued. Goal which it was conceded towards end of the game has led them 2nd leg to be more difficult but it would need to provide high focus and motivation.
Umraniyespor arleady has made great achievement by getting into this stage of this competition and now need to provide full focus to provide top game at 2nd leg.
Trabzonspor would be aiming to start new winning series starting with Antalyaspor game.
Following national team break and local election break which has lasted for 2 weeks, Turkish Super League would be resumed with Trabzonspor and Antalyaspor game at the game where Trabzonspor would take seriously for top 4 or even higher places.
Even through chances for Trabzonspor for league title has been over, it is still has high aim to end season at Europa League spot and even possibly fight for 2nd place even through this right now could be difficult aim to achieve for them. With having some recent results to be unstable for them, this break would have helped them to get through number of the issues including injuries and would be able to restart its season for last 8 weeks with fresh start and start showing good result which their did occassionally during this season. Antalyaspor meanwhile are not at good form themselves but would see this game as an opportunity to get good result so Trabzonspor would need to stay focus at the game which their are coming as favourites. Surely, Trabzonspor would take this last games including Antalyaspor seriously as it deserved to end season at top 4.
It would be an interesting game for sure as both sides would be aiming to win but motivation for Trabzonspor is slightly to be higher.
