What happened in Turkish football today? 31/03/2019
Roma are interested to transfer Galatasaray player Fernando Muslera.
With such long term break from Super League, Turkish sports media has been mainly focussed into transfer rumours and one of the most eye-catching ones for today has been strong interest of Roma to transfer Fernando Muslera.
According to Turkish media, this interest has been arised from suggestion from Roma administrator de Sanctis who is reported to state to his administration of importance of getting Fernando Muslera during upcoming summer transfer window. Even through their are talks that due of financial condition of the club, Galatasaray are considering to sell Muslera in this upcoming transfer window, it seems to be unlucky in reality and could only consider to sell him for very high transfer fee. Stating that Muslera is one of the leading goalkeepers at the world, and if Roma are interested to get Muslera their would carry on having talks with Galatasaray.
As always time would show how this story would develop but its safe to state that Galatasaray will not sell him easily to anyone for sure.
Vincent Aboubakar is considering to return to Besiktas in summer
Another transfer rumour going around country football media are talks that Vincent Aboubakar is considering to return back to Besiktas as it does look like Porto are not considering to keep player for next season.
Despite of rocky start at Besiktas, Aboubakar in overall did provide pretty good performance and did feel comfortable at the side so its normal for him to see this club as good option to return and carry on his career. It needs to be remembered of course that Besiktas would have CEO election on May and also would appoint new coach after season is over, and hence if this rumour is true, it is unlikely for final decision regarding of Aboubakar or in fact most of the transfers will not be made until end of the season but it is known that Aboubakar is taking this option as priority why Besiktas current administration are considering this option strongly.
Surely, if Aboubakar would return it would make many fans of the team to be satisfied with such a decision and could lead player to show good performance at team.
Galatasaray members want Faruk Suren to run for CEO position.
Number of Galatasaray members, after not accepting Mustafa Cengiz CEO performance, are reported to be interested to convince ex-CEO of club Faruk Suren to run for CEO election.
It is known that Faruk Suren who is regarding of one of the leading leaders of team in recent period, doesnt consider a lot to be running for CEO election which expects to take place after season is over. However, with some members have been also surprised of disapproval of Mustafa Cengiz CEO rule, are also surprised are strongly looking for alternatives and considering of course Faruk Suren makes a lot chance due of his successes during his reign. Interestingly, most members want next CEO to some who has experience at this post but most of ex-CEO dont want to run at election so it does look that this period until election would be at least at start be with full of uncertaintly.
Right now focus, if this rumour is true, towards reaction of Faruk Suren as he would still not consider to run for position or would he change his mind.
