What happened in Turkish football today? 09/04/2019

Scoreline of Besiktas game doesnt describe game it had against Rizespor

Despite of the fact that Besiktas has managed to beat Rizespor with 7:2 scoreline, it needs to be stated that this game has not been particularly an easy one until 72nd minute when Adem Ljajic has made scoreline of 4:2.

Besiktas still aimed to provide an attacking from start of the game which led team to find 2 early goals and control rest of the 1st half until Vedat Muriqi didnt make scoreline 2:1 towards end of the half. Rizespor has also provided good opposition and control of the game until scoreline of game has went into 4:2 and after that whole control went into hand of Besiktas. Star of the game without doubt would be Adem Ljajic who has scored 2 great goals during the game and has also provided 3 assists during game which led him to get 5 "points" from goal+pass statistics. It needs to be stated that also Guven Yalcin who has scored hat-trick is also not being far from main player of the side. There has also been unwanted controversy with VAR rule as this time TFF had an issue to provide offside line due of fans blocking perfect view of the field and has led for suspeicion that Besiktas has scored 2 goals from offside.

Scoreline could show that Besiktas has got an easy win but its pretty far from that as it had difficult time until 72nd minute but mainly it has got high motivation and confidence for Basaksehirspor game on 13th April.

Bursaspor has appointed Mesut Bakkal until end of the season.

Bursaspor after sacking its previous head coach Samet Aybaba following loss to Alanyaspor and also finding itself one point ahead of the relegation zone has led for team to terminate contract, and appoint Mesut Bakkal until end of the season.

From this contract, it is clear that main role for this appointment is for Mesut Bakkal to save team from relegation at the end of the season and then provide needed decisions according if Bakkal achieves that or not. Without doubt Mesut Bakkal would have difficult job at the team which has also enjoyed league title at Super League and it is true that Bursaspor which in fact are not very poor squad has been lose of confidence during this season. It is important for Mesut Bakkal as always with such situations club to bring back motivation to the side and also self-belief and he would need to start with Trabzonspor game which could be difficult one for them as their opponents are currently fighting for ending season at Europa League zone at least. Plus side for Bursaspor for sure is fact that Bakkal is experienced in this kind of tasks.

Mesut Bakkal would need to bring motivation and self-belief towards its players for last 7 games and it wont be an easy task for him for sure.

Real Zaragoza are interested to transfer Fenerbahce player Roberto Soldado.

Real Zaragoza, who are currently located at 2nd league of Spanish league. are interested to transfer Fenerbahce player Roberto Soldado to fulfill its aim to bring team next season up to top divison.

With relying to high experience from player such as Roberto Soldado and also not being very expensive right now it would be aiming to get player but it needs to be admitted that despite of poor season of Fenerbahce, Roberto Soldado has shown strong loyalty to the team making clear that he would stay at the club until end of the season. Therefore, Real Zaragoza would need to do some convincing both to player and club during summer transfer window as their are some signs that both player and Fenerbahce are happy with each other. One of the advantage of course in this situation for Real Zaragoza is that it being Spanish side in struggle, which could provide some reaction from Soldado but again would be enough.

It is unlikely that Ersun Yanal would consider to sell player during summer transfer window but time as always would show.
