What happened in Turkish football today? 06/01/2019

Besiktas has transferred PSV Eindhoven player Nicolas Isimit-Mirin for 3.5 years.

Besiktas has made one of the key transfers during this mid-season transfer window as it has transferred PSV Eindhoven defender Nicolas Isimat-Mirin for 3.5 years and even through an official signing wasnt taken yet, Mirin has went through team medical check-up.

One of the main aims during this mid-season transfer window from Besiktas has been to find quality defender, and it has managed to do so with transferring Nicolas  Isimat-Mirin as he has shown great performance at PSV Eindhoven in recent period regardless of his younger age and is respected to get even more experience with help of the head coach Senol Gunes who is expected to work with him in upcoming days. This transfer should be able to make team defence even more stronger and hence provide lots of relaxation towards attackers during upcoming games which could be very important without doubt. As always it is important for now, for Nicolas Isimat-Mirin to get adapted to team and league and this could be done during mid-season training camp.

Besiktas has got two important transfers right now, and as club CEO Fikret Orman stated himself it has got main aims which it has aimed for mid-season transfer window but also could transfer one more player.

Basaksehirspor signs Serdar Tasci for 1.5 years.

Following Robinho transfer on openning day of mid-season transfer window, Basaksehirspor has got also an important transfer of Serdar Tasci to the team for 1.5 years as team aimed this an replacement for Manuel Da Costa who was sold to Al Ittihad.

One of the downsides of this transfer could be seen for Serdar Tasci not being able to have training sessions for long time and it was questionable if player is physically ready. Stating that it was reported that player showed good performance during training session and didnt provide a view that he would be ready at games when league would be restarted in two weeks time. At best form, Serdar Tasci certainly would be very helpful for the team aim to get to the league title at the end of the season with his good performance at the midfielding areas for sure. Rumours of Serdar Tasci coming to the Super League has been going through for long time and right now he has finally joined Turkish team and to the one which fights for league title which would provide motivation to him for sure.

Basaksehirspor carries on making their squad stronger for 2nd half of the season and are expected to sign even more players as transfer window continues.

Clubs are interested to transfer Emre Tasdemir.

As Bursaspor has terminated contract with its player Emre Tasdemir on 5th January, interest towards him has been pretty active and seems to be one of the players towards who clubs would be fighting for in transfer zone.

For now, it became known that Goztepe, Erzurumspor and Galatasaray are showing strong interest to Emre Tasdemir. This action towards him should be understandable, as even through player didnt show great performance in recent periods, he has been one of the most active and quality players at the team for long time. It is reported that those 3 teams are planning to start transfer negotiations with player and it does lookl like Goztepe seems to be closest to make deal with him for now and it is true that Goztepe are among teams which would need him for their current strength of the squad. But as been mentioned, it is expected that some other clubs could show some interests until player signs with a club.
