What happened in Turkish football today? 14/01/2019

Galatasaray aims to start 2019 with good result against Boluspor.

Turkish football season for 2019 would officially start with 3 games at Turkish Cup last 16 1st leg games, with our blog entry would provide specific attention towards Boluspor and Galatasaray game as it involves big 4 team. Without doubt, Galatasaray would be aiming to start 2019 in good manner as it has some big aims for this year as it does every year.

Galatasaray without doubt would be to restart its campaign both at Turkish Cup and Super League, and later at Europa League knockout stages with aiming for top positions. It would be starting 2019 also with a team which it would be seen as strong favourite and hence would also be expected to play with its academy and players who doesnt recieve playing time where players would be aiming to show good performance and possible show themselves as strong alternatives for rest of the season and hence those players should use this opportunity. With Boluspor reaching to last 16 stage, which is for themselves would be seen as big achievement, it would be aiming to provide surprising result at home ground without having much pressure prior to game but as would be expected Galatasaray are as been mentioned coming out as strong favourite even if it would play mainly with alternative squad.

As been mentioned, Galatasaray would be aiming to start 2019 with good performance and result and to all respect to Boluspor, its side which can provide such outcome to them at Turkish Cup.

Kasimpasa has transferred Osijek player Haris Hajradinovic for 3.5+1 years.

With transfer front in Turkey, tends to be quiet in recent days especially for big 4 sides, mediocre sides does make some important transfers as Kasimpasa has made transfer deal with Osijek player Haris Hajradinovic.

As been stated at our blog several times during mid-season break, Kasimpasa are having high aims for 2nd half of the season and hence it aims to make transfers which would be very effective and naturally will not affect to the side finances. Kasimpasa has made 3.5 + 1 year transfer with 24-year old player and hence showing that among signing pretty good player it also have high aims and trust towards player for upcoming season as even Kasimpasa head coach Mustafa Denizli has provided full trust towards player and believes that he would be able to raise team into even better level as player has all potentiality with player also joining in start of week when season will start again and hence have time to adapt time, even through it is limited time.

Kasimpasa carries on working at transfer front to make their squad stronger for 2nd half and make it team to be able to fight for league title.

Zeki Yavru has joined Akhisarspor.

Another transfer which took place today has been transfer deal made with ex-Trabzonspor player Zeki Yavru by Akhisarspor as it has transferred player which had some issues with his previous club for last seasons.

Akhisarspor to some extend therefore does provide some risk as it is getting player which didnt play a lot in recent years and is questionable how much his ready for competitive games. Stating that, Akhisarspor did get a player which is experienced at Super League and if he is able to get into level of his peak years, sooner better for Akhisarspor, he could lead team to get some positive results and push forward further from relegation zone as he did show some great performance including during years at Trabzonspor before start having issues with a team. Without doubt Zeki Yavru was transferred as regular starter for Akhisarspor so in his front it also important for him to forget about Trabzonspor and provide full focus to Akhisarspor.

As been mentioned hence, Zeki Yavru would be great transfer for Akhisarspor as long as he start showing high level performance and create chances from midfield section.
