Fenerbahce has terminated contract with Diego Ribas.
Fenerbahce has terminated contract with its player Diego Ribas as he was among players who was expecting to leave the team during this summer transfer period. In few hours time Flamengo has announced transfer of him to a team.
It became clear that Diego would be leaving the team as soon as season was over and both clubs and player were looking for new team. Diego Ribas has spend his last few days in Brasil having negotiations with number of Brasilian teams, with most attention given towards Flamengo. The fact that Fenerbahce has made following announcement shows that in very likely all parties has been agreed with Flamengo transfer. Diego Ribas during his period didnt provide his top football in Fenerbahce and it been argued in previous blogs that it would be better option for him to carry on his career in Brasil.
Diego Ribas is expected to sign contract within 24 hours as he had shown that he also happy to leave Turkey.
Mario Gomez wife doesnt want to stay in Turkey.
Latest development between future of Fiorentina player Mario Gomez at the Besiktas has taken new twist as it became clear that his wife Camila doesnt want to stay in the country due of recent events taking place in Turkey.
It been stated for several times in recent our entries that mainly players who want to leave Turkey are ones who arleady were planning to do before Ataturk Airport and failed coup d'etat events. It is known that Mario Gomez will need to give his decision about Besiktas on 22nd July as Besiktas CEO Fikret Orman needs to look for alternatives with less than month until start of the new season. In fact, if he does say negative response it would give Besiktas with difficult way to find alternatives for him.
Mario Gomez future is really uncertain for now and it is hard to predict his saying as there is lots of conflicting news going around about him wanting to stay or not.
Galatasaray interested to appoint Faryd Mondragon as team goalkeeper coach.
Galatasaray are currently interested to appoint its ex-goalkeeper Faryd Mondragon after Claudio Taffarel has announced his resignation from the team goalkeeper coach position.
In similar manner, club has decided to try to convince its previous and successfull player for the post of the goalkeeper trainer and being highly requested with players and fans he would be able to likely provide lots of motivation and nice training for the goalkeepers at the team. Taffarel has provided great legacy at his reign at the post and played an important role for trainings of its coach Fernando Muslera.
If Mondragon is appointed he would have hard job to be able to provide same performance as did Taffarel but he is capable to achieve it.
