Osmanlispor opens season with Europa League game against Zimbru.
Osmanlispor would be first team to start 2016-17 football season with Europa League 2nd qualifying round 1st leg game against Moldavian club Zimbru Chisinau. This game will be first game for Osmanlispor at the European stage.
It does need to be stated that Osmanlispor is expected to get 3rd qualifying round by beating Zimbru however it would be much harder for them to carry on at the later stages as it would recieve much harder opponents at the next stages. But once again if Osmanlispor does provide same performance as it did during whole last season it should not have any problems during the game against Zimbru. It just needs to believe itself and look at the game as great experience which it can have at least for 2 games and then it can provide great result which to some extend is expected from them.
Most important thing for Osmanlispor is not to get over-excited for such an important game and believe themselves from first moment.
Gokhan Gonul is suitable transfer to Besiktas.
Besiktas has organised signature ceremony of its new player Gokhan Gonul who has signed contract with his new team for 4 years. Being one of the main players at Fenerbahce it was big surprise of him leaving team to its main rivals.
The story of misunderstanding regarding of extension contract between Gokhan Gonul and Fenerbahce has been talked so much so it would be more effective to talk about usage he can give to Besiktas in today's blog. His behaviour and fair analysis of the game does make him suitable to a team who does look at the amateur spirit but he is also among players who has experience or used to fight for league titles and hence would be nice addition to the team which would surely aim to regain its title next season. He would surely fit into the system and provide lots of strength to the team.
There has been talks about him moving to Besiktas since May but right now its important to see what he would achieve during his stay at the team next season.
Brasilian clubs send offers for Diego Ribas to Fenerbahce.
Brasilian teams interest towards Fenerbahce player Diego Ribas carries on with transfer offers from leading clubs such as Gremio, Corianthians and Flamengo.
It been stated at our blogs several times during summer that Fenerbahce has intentions to sell him preferably to Brasil and is very likely to achieve that by recieving back some cash.Also, it would be nice for Diego as it would help him to provide better football next season at his homeground including fact that none of the European clubs would likely to transfer him as he seems to be forgotten player. Fenerbahce are currently with number of transfers and close to sign ones that it is able to fill its empty spaces straightaway this summer.
Diego Ribas was bought to club but unfortunately he didnt manage to show his full potential at the team. Now, it looks like chapter of Diego at Fenerbahce is being closed for good.
