Besiktas has got well-tough win against Giresunspor
Besiktas has won its first game after 3 weeks against Giresunspor with 1:0 scoreline at the game which has ended up pretty difficult and active game as opponent has once again provided some difficult time.
It needs to be mentioned that Besiktas has got pretty difficult and well-fought win against one of the toughest sides in this league especially for big clubs, and it needs to be mentioned that Istanbul side needed to be stayed focus for 90 minutes. However, in downside it needs to be mentioned that an issue of providing good game on 1st half and reducing tempo on 2nd half has been case in this game as opponent did come close to drawing goal.
Giresunspor it needs to be mentioning has provided some serious issues to Besiktas with both performance and results. Even through Giresunspor didnt get result which it seeked for during this game, it still provided some difficult moments and in fact has been close to get draw if there wasnt disallowed goal which did come due of offside decision beforehand.
Besiktas hence did get a win after 3 weeks and has once again shown itself to be one of the main candidates for title race with getting same points with current leaders Adana Demirspor.
Fenerbahce would aim to continue showing strong attacking game against Fatih Karagumruk
Fenerbahce would be resuming Turkish Super League against struggling Fatih Karagumruk with an aim to get back into winning performance after drawing against Besiktas on previous week.
It needs to be mentioned that Fenerbahce during derby game has provided pretty passive and ineffective attacking game but did improve on this performance against AEK Larnaca. With an aim to get into back showing good performance at the game against Fatih Karagumruk it would be focussing without doubt into getting into strong attacking level with dominating game. With Fatih Karagumruk as been noted being pretty far from level of performance which been shown in previous league, it would be expected to have some struggling moments but could be seeing this game as turning point. However, with taking acocunt its playing at home and also regaining confidence from AEK Larnaca it would be hard for visitors to achieve this.
Therefore, Fenerbahce with looking into form and general performance would be coming out as strong favourites and would aim to show that on field.
Francesco Montero might be leaving Besiktas during mid-season transfer window
Besiktas player Francesco Montero has kept open door for possible being transfer to other club during mid-season transfer window at interview for Spanish newspaper AS.
Montero during interview has stated that he would be considering to leave Besiktas to other club if he would be recieving good transfer offer as he has lost starting 11 position during this season and it is clear that Valerien Ismael doesnnt have plans to use player in upcoming games and hence would be open also for him to sell. With taking acocunt of future plans for the player at the club and player being aware o fthis issue and accepting it without doubt would make chances for him to leave club pretty high for sure. Meanwhile, it is known that Elche has been interested to purchase him in summer and would restart transfer negotiations during mid-season transfer period.
