What happened in Turkish football today? 04/10/2022

Victor Nelsson salary has raised from 900,000 to 1.3 million euro.

Galatasaray has raised salary of its player Victor Nelsson from 900,000 euro to 1.3 million euro as player did provide pretty impressive performance during previous season and does have good start of the season.

Despite of pretty young age of Nelsson it needs to be mentioned that player did take a leading role at the defence and has shown very good performance during Adana Demirspor and did play an important role for side to get goalless draw against one of the toughest opponent. With getting pretty low salary so far in footballing world, Galatasaray needed to show importance of the player in sense of salary and also provide motivation which it did with raising his salary for 400,000 euro. With Victor Nelsson having modest character, this could possibly only provide confidence and motivation for upcoming games without doubt.

Hence, Galatasaray here did do right decision with this extension and we could see raise of performance from player.

Ersin Destanoglu would likely focus more into games with extension.

With Besiktas player Ersin Destanoglu contract being extended to 4-years with higher salary, it would been expected for player to focus entirely into defending his goal for upcoming games.

Without doubt, uncertainty regarding his contract and also any improvement of his salary has been an important distraction to goalkeeper as he did provide poor performance with conceding at each shot. However, with such extension club has send an important message reminding player of important of his to the club and also would provide right motivation and confidence for upcoming games. It hence would be expecting that player would raise his performance with full focus.

If Ersin Destanoglu would provide right reaction to this extension, then very likely club would be getting into rise with his performance in upcoming weeks and make them one of the main candidates for title.

Basaksehirspor are losing tempo during last 2 weeks.

Basaksehirspor has ended 8 weeks as leaders of the league with 17 points with adding that i thas game in hand and is being only side not to lose game.

Basaksehirspor has conceded its first goal during this season against Hatayspor as it conceded from penalty kick and is being side with a form, but it needs to be mentioned that despite of all this positive statistics, it is being side at decline in last 2 weeks as it did lose high tempo which it has shown in first weeks. Without doubt, Emre Belozoglu is also being aware of this and as been mentioned by himself is working on this.

It would be an important task to get once again into high tempo which team showed in previous week if it aims to be at title race until end of the season without doubt.
