Fenerbahce continues showing dominant game this time beating Istanbulspor

Fenerbahce is continuing its leadership in a strong confident manner as it has won Istanbulspor with 5:2 scoreline as it has shown strong confident game and organising game.

Fenerbahce continues showing strong confident game as it did play against struggling Istanbulspor with Michy Batshuayi especially become star of the player as he did score hat-trick goals with 1 coming from penalty kick and also scoring a last goal in the game but even more importantly he always kept looking for chances and keep creating chances at the attack. Only negative aspect which could come from this game has been 2 conceded goals which did come from mistakes of Altay Bayindir, who keep coming very far from goal at one-on-one and hence providing strong advantage for opponent to score into opening goal. Besiktas newly appointed head coach Senol Gunes has started his reign with impressive win against last-spot side Umraniyespor as it got win with 5:2 scoreline but there are being some signs of improvement.

It needs to be mentioned that Besiktas did show some impressive improvements at Besiktas in duration of 2 days with especially it being visible at stamina of the players as side has been managed to show top level performance for 90 minutes. Galatasaray are considering to start transfer negotiations with Brighton player Deniz Uzdav during World Cup 2022 as it aims to replace him with Haris Seferovic during mid-season transfer window.

Galatasaray wins game after 3-week break.

Galatasaray has managed to win its 1st game after 3 weeks against Fatih Karagumruk despite of the fact that it didnt show good performance during 1st half but has shown much more attacking game during 2nd half.

Galatasaray did come out to the game after pretty eventful and stressful week where it has shown mainly protest towards Ali Palabiyik performance which without doubt did affect to beginning of the game as it showed much more slower game which wasnt rose even more Fatih Karagumruk player did get red card. However, things did change during 2nd half as side start showing much more aggressive and pressuring football towards opponent goal as Emre Tasdemir and Juan Mata has scored their first goals during this season. Meanwhile, it needs to be praised performance of Emiliano Viviano at the goal as he did prevent for game to be ending in much more worser scenario with his key saves. 

Galatasaray hence did regain confidence and motivation prior to derby game next week and more important won game after 3 weeks.

Fenerbahce will be coming out as favourites against Istanbulspor.

Fenerbahce will be returning to Super League after pretty eventful game against Rennes at Europa League as it would be playing against struggling Istanbulspor as it would be aiming to continue its leadership in the league.

Even through Istanbulspor is not located at great spot in the table, they do provide some positive performance and could provide some issues to the opponent so it should not be seen as simple and easy game for Fenerbahce. However, with recent performance level and Jorge Jesus always finding ways to not lose games, it would be expected to see that Fenerbahce would be once again providing strong and an attacking game with looking for goals. Since Fenerbahce did show great comeback and also great rotation, it would not be expected for side to be coming on field at very tired form also.

Fenerbahce hence would be coming to the game in good mood and form and will be expected to be strong favourites.

Galatasaray used effectively extra-men during game against Fatih Karagumruk

Galatasaray has managed to win Super League 12th week game against Fatih Karagumruk with 2:0 scoreline thanks to 2 goals which did come during 2nd half as opponent has played with 10 men for most amount of time. 

It needs to be mentioned that Galatasaray didnt start game at very high tempo and aggressive performance which has been expected from them due of active week which it had due of outside of the field actions. In fact, during 1st half Fatih Karagumruk did look to be more willing side with creating some opportunities but Galatasaray focussed defence has let game to stay 0:0 until halftime. The game has been changed entirely during 2nd half as Galatasaray has shown more forward seeking performance as it had also one extra men due of red card which happened at the middle of 1st half. It has been also an important for Omer Tasdemir to find his 1st goal as he did come out for first time at starting 11 with being at the right place in right moment while 2nd goal did also come from Juan Mata who also scored his 1st goal. Therefore, Galatasaray did create high number of opportunities and did play to get win but it could been showing much better performance during 1st half.

Fatih Karagumruk meanwhile it needs to be mentioned that it did show some good performance especially with playing 11-on-11 and has shown some strong willingness but with getting one less man has affected to team performance. Trabzonspor didnt use its opportunity to get into knockout stages.

Trabzonspor did put its chances for knockout stages of Europa League into difficulty with loss to Crvena Zvezda with 2:1 scoreline and could even lose an opportunity to enter to Conference League with last week games. 

Trabzonspor did come out with high confidence at winning game and didnt necessarily provide poor performance against Serbian side but still it did lack of showing some attacking game during 1st half especially prior to conceding goal. It needs to be mentioned that both side did provide some good game with looking for opportunities which did come from first Crvena Zvezda with great goal and even through Bakasetas did get equaliser, Trabzonspor surprsingly did reduce tempo during 2nd half of the game rather then showing much more aggressive attacking game as opponent did use its opportunity effectively. Trabzonspor would now come out to game against Ferencvaros, which did secure top spot with only aim to win game but would also wait for good result from Monaco-Crvena Zvezda game.

Trabzonspor has failed to get upper hand and use its chances more effectively to opponent and hence put its chances for next round into difficulty.

Fenerbahce has kept top spot at group with incredible comeback.

Fenerbahce has shown incredible and strong comeback against Rennes during Europa League 5th week game which would decide top spot even through it did have very poor start of the game for 30 minutes.

Fenerbahce as been noted did have pretty poor start of the game especially at defence which led Rennes to get great chances with converting 3 of the goals within 30 minutes and it did look like the game has been lost for the side and hence top spot. But Fenerbahce with scoring goal in end of 1st half but especially during end of the 2nd half has shown incredible fighting comeback performance with Jorge Jesus once again doing great substitutes to the team of 4 players, with 2 of them scoring goals. With this result Fenerbahce has kept its top spot in the group and does +1 goal difference compare to Rennes, and hence it would need to not only win Dynamo Kyiv in last week game, which would be seeking to end group at high note, but also score lots of goals as Rennes likely will be aiming to do at AEK Larnaca game.

Fenerbahce has shown great comeback and taking account that 3:1 scoreline at 80th minute this would be seen as win, but it needs to keep top spot after Dynamo Kyiv to make this comeback meaningful.

Trabzonspor got unexpected loss against Crvena Zvezda.

Trabzonspor did get an unexpected loss to Serbian side Crvena Zvezda with 2:1 scoreline and with such scoreline has put its opponent into race for knockout stages even through win against Ferencvaros could be enough for knockout stages in the last week.

Trabzonspor with gaining motivation and confidence following Monaco win against 4:0 and also getting some positive results in recent weeks did come to this game with high confidence but did have difficulty of getting full control of the game which tends to be an issue of the side during this season. It needs to be mentioned that Trabzonspor and Crvena Zvezda did start game in more or less similar way with both sides showing control to each other and in fact has been case after it has conceded. It needs to be mentioned that when looking into quality differences, it has been accepted to be game in between and this how game has been developed. Fenerbahce has shown an incredible comeback against Rennes after losing game with 3:0 scoreline at 30th minutes of the game and has kept its leadership at the group with 1 week left to go.

Fenerbahce it needs to be mentioned had very poor start of the game especially with showing very ineffective start in the defensive with letting both Rennes to be creating opportunities and also scoring goals as another goal has been disallowed. With Fenerbahce showing such poor performance at 30th minute as it didnt look like side would be showing strong comeback. Without doubt, a goal which did come at the end of the 1st half from Enner Valencia did provide some confidence and motivation for 2nd half. Still, it needs to be mentioned that Fenerbahce didnt show very good game during 2nd half as Rennes did show good defensive game but with some right substitutes and also goal from Miha Zajc from free-kick has provided crucial confidence and motivation to the team and hence side did score from Emre Mor and suddenly there were even question with Fenerbahce winning game. Still, this been good reaction from Fenerbahce however only issue with side being defensive side as Rennes did provide some important messages.

Sivasspor got knockout stage ticket with confident win against Sivasspor.

Sivasspor has become only side to win game at the European games as it has got confident win against CFR Cluj with confident scoreline of 3:0 scoreline and showed strong willing game at home ground.

With Sivasspor starting group stage as whole season in uneffective manner, it needs to be mentioned that club has generally showed good achievement with getting into group stage with 1 week to go at the group stage. Besiktas expects to sack Valerien Ismael at short period of time.

Besiktas had another league game with providing very poor and unsatisfactorily performance during 2nd half as it lost to struggling to Hatayspor with 2:1 scoreline despite scoring goal on 34th second.

Following this result, discussion about sacking Valerien Ismael has become even more effective as such performance from the team has been taken place in recent weeks and games has been played at same scenario. This scenario has been for Besiktas starting game in very good form showing dominant game but 2nd half of the game has been going down mainly due of some wrong substitutes and wrong tactical game. Exactly same has taken place at the game against Hatayspor. Even through this blog believes that some patience and chances should be given to coaches, it also clearly visible that Valerien Ismael is not showing any improvement and signs of chances and him staying seem to do more harm to club performance run unfortunately.

It is expected for administration to sack Ismael at short period of time as he doesnt provide much hope for future.

Istanbulspor has appointed Fatih Tekke for 5-years after next day Osman Zeki Korkmaz has resigned from his post.

With club making deal with Tekke at such short period of time would be seen that Istanbulspor were getting ready for Korkmaz to be leaving side and has signed Tekke for 5-years which also shows full trust and support towards him. With Fatih Tekke having great footballing career but still being on early stages of coaching and not having much experience at Super League would raise question how he would be able to raise team up in such difficult league. UEFA appoints Ali Palabiyik to Conference League game.

UEFA has appointed Turkish referee Ali Palabiyik to Conference League between Zurich and Zalgiris which could be seen as big surprise following events which happened at Galatasaray and Alanyaspor.

There could be an argument that this is being game at least interesting league among UEFA jurisdiction and also game itself is not being important one, but it needs to be metnioned that only 2 other referees has been appointed, with one of them being AVAR. Hence, this appointment makes it clear that UEFA does seem something which is not seen at Turkish football and especially Galatasaray. Besiktas continues losing points with poor tactical game.

Besiktas continues showing dissatisfactorily performance as it has lost against struggling Hatayspor with 2:1 scoreline with reducing level of performance after 30 minutes and didnt provide any effective game during 2nd half.

It needs to be mentioned that Besiktas did have perfect start of the game as it has found openning goal thanks to the Wout Weghorst at 34th second of the game with great organised and attacking position. After that goal Besiktas has continued strong effective game with 2 goals being disallowed and also penalty decision without letting Hatayspor to get into chances. In fact, the factor that Hatayspor didnt concede in this period has helped them to win game. However, as game has progressed after 30th minute and especially during 2nd half Besiktas had serious decline with losing tempo of the game and letting Hatayspor to get some control which it has ued effectively without doubt. Things for Besiktas are not going well especially at tactical game as Valerien Ismael does look to be having issues with having alternative plans and with providing similar game leads opponents to know how side would play.

Osman Zeki Korkmaz has resigned as Istanbulspor head coach role

Istanbulspor head coach Osman Zeki Korkmaz has resigned from his post after some unsuccessful results and also finding his side to be at bottom part of the table.

Turkish Super League 11th week game between Galatasaray and Alanyaspor has been ended with 2:2 scoreline as game has been played at high tension especially between Istanbul giants and referees.

Galatasaray did have very good start of the game with providing high pressure and an attacking game with scoring 2 goals within first 22 minutes with dominating game and not letting Alanyaspor to control any ball. However, turning point of the game has been red card of Sacha Boey for knocking out last player of the field which led for Galatasaray players to show protest towards referee on that position and whole of the game. Without doubt, statements which been made by club administrators has led players to be treating with suspicion towards referee in this game therefore. Alanyaspor meanwhile did have problems to get into control of the game for rest of the 1st half with looking to be disorganised but 2nd half with having an extra men start showing much more attacking game and has scored 2 goals. With Galatasaray not only having one less men, but also focussing more into referee than towards how it plays without doubt did play role with losing 2 points.

Alanyaspor it needs to be mentioned did start game in very ineffective and among conceding 2 goals during 1st half also did look to be not focussed into game but did extra men advantage during 2nd half. This result for sure would provide positive impact to upcoming games in sense of morale.

Basaksehirspor did provide much more controllable game focussed into defence which does describe why goal from Fenerbahce did come so late but it didnt show much attacking game, even through only one which it had at last minute was almost an goal but Altay Bayindir had a great save which would also provide him strong confidence boost for upcoming weeks.

Fenerbahce hence continues showing strong and confident game and does show character of side which is detirmened to win title at this season.

Trabzonspor shows worrying signs despite of win.

Trabzonspor did get what it wanted during game against Sivasspor but did provide some worrying images as it been passive side and they opponents has been side which been much more closer for win. 

Trabzonspor did start game in aggressive manner with looking for chances and hence did found goal with Marek Hamsik but after 15 minutes game has turned entirely with Sivasspor getting contol of the game and being side which did create lots of chances and did lack last touches and luck. Trabzonspor even through did win game, its performance right now in overall is being worrying as even through it does have some good games most of the games it did win with luck and does lack tempo and willingness from players which we saw on previous season. Fenerbahce has got well-fought win against Basaksehirspor.

Fenerbahce has made an important step at the race for leadership as it has beaten Basaksehirspor with single goal from Diego Rossi on 85th minute at the game where it has been better side and wanted more.

Fenerbahce are continuing with showing much more willingness with an attacking game and has been looking for positions. It could be noted that Fenerbahce has shown slightly more tactical game compare to previous ones and didnt have much more attacking game but still when looking with areas where ball has been controlled, Fenerbahce has been side which did look for win. Without letting Basaksehirspor into getting and showing any controlable game and therefore this could be mentioned that Basaksehirspor didnt get control of the game despite of the defensive game. It did take while for Fenerbahce to win winning goal, but for about 20 minutes Fenerbahce did look like it has been side to get closer to win thanks to smart and attacking game from Jorge Jesus which did right substitutes and has got back from its players. 

Basaksehirspor did provide good defensive game which did work for 85 minutes but when you being heavily focussed into defensive and not showing any attacking level would bring you some problems and this has been case for them. Basaksehirspor needs to improve its attacking game especially against its contenders for leadership.

Fenerbahce showed good tactical game but it did want to win game much more from Basaksehirspor and got deserved win.

Trabzonspor has won game against Sivasspor without showing too much good game.

Trabzonspor wins Super League 11th week game against Sivasspor thanks to the goal from Marek Hamsik on 9th minute but it needs to be mentioned that it wasnt necessarily good game for Trabzonspor as Sivasspor has been more willing to game.

Goal which been scored by Marek Hamsik in the start of the game has brought 3 points to Trabzonspor but it  needs to be mentioned that when coming to team performance it hasnt been on level which been expected from them. In fact, it could be mentioned that good defensive performance of Trabzonspor and also quality of squads has played a direct role of the outcome of the game as Sivasspor has created much more creative opportunities and looked to be better side. Still, on positive side of Trabzonspor is that it had only found one opportunity and has used it effectively with Marik Hamsik. Also, it didnt use too much effort especially in attack prior to very important goal at Europa League against Crvena Zvezda.

Sivasspor as been noted has been much better side when looking into possession but were lacking to found a goal which would bring them draw result due of lack of last touches and also goalkeeping skill of Ugurcan Cakir. Still, this performance does show willingness for Sivasspor to find goals.

Trabzonspor didnt show very good performance which would be seen as negative results but when coming to performance it would been worrying level for upcoming weeks and it needs to find solution to improve performance.

Galatasaray would be providing high tempo game against Alanyaspor

Galatasaray would be aiming to carry on positive impact after 7:0 win at Turkish Cup at Kastamonuspor, as it would be playing against struggling Alanyaspor at the league.

It needs to be playing against side like Alanyaspor and other Super League teams is not same as playing against Kastamonuspor so expecting such an easy win and kind of play from Galatasaray at upcoming game will not be expected to be case. Even through side did look to be at best game so far during this season, using it reference would not be right and only positive impact from Kastamonuspor has been more and confidence which would be case. Two of the best clubs will meet against each other at league.

During this week, teams which are competing at Europa League would be playing against sides which are being at Conference League at Super League with most eye-catching among those two being between Fenerbahce and Basaksehirspor.

Without doubt, one of the best sides of this season and in good form are being those 2 sides which have also managed to get through knockout stages with 2 weeks left in the season at Europe and also fighting for leadership at the league. However, it needs to be mentioned that Fenerbahce is looking much more confident than Basaksehirspor compare to previous season but it would be interesting to see how Basaksehirspor would defend as it would be playing against most goalscoring side against one which doesnt concede. In fact, it needs to be stated that Basaksehirspor tends to be even through defensive heavily its attacking performance its not very poor while Fenerbahce does concede as it focussed into attacking game.

Hence, it would be expected to be an interesting game against side which does show good performance as both sides are fighting for leadership. Its tough to call clear favourite.

UEFA had fined TFF for supporters behaviour against Luxembourg.

Turkish National Team has recieved 15,000 euro fine from UEFA after behaviour of supporters during Nations League game against Luxembourg as some unwanted action does happen at Turkey.

Even through it needs to be mentioned that compre to 10-20 years ago hooliganism activities are getting less sadly its still taking place and pretty unexpectedly it needs to be stated has happened at Luxembourg game when looking at calibre of this game. Galatasaray got good win against Kastamonuspor

Galatasaray has got a confident win against Kastamonuspor as been expected with 7:0 scoreline at Turkish Cup and has regained confidence and motivation for upcoming games.

With Okan Buruk coming out to the game mainly with players who dont recieve much of playing time but are being selected to 18-team squad at league games has got an opportunity to show they quality and willingness to be selected for starting 11. It needs to be mentioned that many players such as Bafetembi Gomis, Milot Rashica among others did provide without doubt some strong and confident performance and could be thought by Okan Buruk in upcoming games to be selected at starting 11. Without doubt, Galatasaray has stayed at game for 90 minutes which sometimes could be difficulty when playing against opponent like Kastamonuspor who are located at 2nd league.

TFF has organised an important event tonight where it had provided details regarding of VAR protocols and did answer lots of questions regarding of the system which did provide some confusion.

There has been lots of criticism towards VAR system at Turkish football in general weeks and hence it was important for TFF to provide such forum to some extend to all Turkish clubs who wanted join to describe how is system is working. Even through there were some issues with VAR in Turkish football and some did have impact into result of the games, it is important to note that in view of this blog so far VAR is doing pretty good job and is being improving without doubt. It is here important for all parties involved to provide support to this system to go forward.

Criticising VAR system will not be solving issues especially ones which are not productive but should be given focus on how to improve system together.

Criticism towards referee only does harm to clubs themselves.

With Galatasaray administrator Erdem Timur giving press conference where he criticises VAR system is being more to be unproductive rather than moving game forward.

Whenever things are not going well for clubs, especially when its top 4 big clubs in Turkey, there is strong criticism towards referee and an attempt to not identify issues which it have within club both to public and what seems to themselves. It is been observed that for last seasons, sides which has been most quiet about refereeing tend to have good season. During this season Fenerbahce didnt make any statement and arguably providing one of the strongest performance, Trabzonspor didnt make any statement and got title with goal difference.In fact, when Besiktas did make statements 2 years ago, stating that there is prevention to make them champions, they almost lost title as they comments rose. Galatasaray got as expected easy win against Kastamonuspor

Galatasaray has got a confident win against 2nd league side Kastamonuspor as has been expected with getting 7:0 scoreline as side didnt provide any signs of relaxation and calmness to its opponent. 

It needs to be mentioned that Galatasaray didnt have very good performance in recent games at the Super League and hence playing 2nd league opponent, to all respect to the Kastamonuspor, has been good opportunity to regain confidence to whole side. It needs to be noted that Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk did start game with players who either are tend to be substituted or didnt get enough time but still could become starting 11 and hence its been important for him for them to prove themselves and also get used to play game as he has plans for them. Even through as been noted Kastamonuspor might not be great reference point, players did show right attitude to the game which being willingness at creating chances and scoring goal and to some extend did send some strong message to its teammates who tend to be at starting 11 and so far provided performance which not expected for them.

 Giresunspor recieved 2-game ban from FIFA for not paying to Jean Pyerre.

Giresunspor has recieved 2-transfer ban period for ending contract with its player Jean Pyerre with who club has ended contract due of player been diagnosed with cancer.

It is here important to note that reason why Giresunspor has recieved such a ban was due of not paying part of salary which has been made between parties as FIFA also ordered to club to pay this value in short period of time. As it is known, the player did get cancer and has requested from club to get contract terminated but has also asked for some value to be being paid and without recieving this value he has went to FIFA to demand. Due of uncertainty, of such cases it is reasonable for Giresunspor to be felt in disbelief of such decision but in same time it needed to go through deal between player.

This is being to some extend pretty unsual case and Giresunspor does pay price for such deal between parties at this time.

Fenerbahce has offered  extension contract to Jorge Jesus until 2026.

There are reports that Fenerbahce has offered extension contract to its head coach Jorge Jesus until 2026 as club is providing outstanding performance both domestically and at Europe.

Fenerbahce always seeks for goals and attacking game.

Fenerbahce continues showing an effective performance at the Super League and getting back-to-back wins as this time it has won against Ankaragucu with 3:0 scoreline without raising tempo of the game too much.

With all respect to Ankaragucu, it was expected for Fenerbahce to get win against without much doubt but it needs to be mentioned that it has ended game at clean sheet against side which tends to score at every game almost. Stating that, it needs to be reminded that Ankaragucu did have 2 disallowed goals due of offside during 1st half. Fenerbahce didnt necesarilly provide dominant game against Ankaragucu and did have issues to get full tempo and control of the game during 1st half, but still it was visible that it would get win in the end of the game with how side did perform and confidence. Even when game does get slightly difficulty, Jorge Jesus does go through how to make an attacking game on his mind as was visible in this game during 2nd half.

Fenerbahce got confident win against Ankaragucu

Fenerbahce has got a confident win against Ankaragucu with 3:0 scoreline as it did control whole game despite of the fact that tempo wise its possibly didnt raise into level which been used for side but still its been well-deserved win.

Fenerbahce during this season is being seen as focussed into attacking game and side which keep looking as many as goals thanks to the psychology which been put by its head coach Jorge Jesus. Without doubt it has continued in such manner at the Ankaragucu game which could be describing with its fast goal which it has scored with Michy Batshuayi at 3rd minute and become player at the form during recent games. Tactical performance of Besiktas does get some criticism.

Besiktas has got draw against Trabzonspor thanks to the goal from Cenk Tosun on 70th minute, at the game where club head coach Valerien Ismael has been criticised with his tactical performance.

Despite of winning game, and provided some effort to get win during 2nd half of the game it needs to be mentioned that Besiktas didnt provide its best performance and for most amount of the game has been in control of Trabzonspor. In all fairness, Besiktas players did give all effort to get win but it does look Ismael does have some issues with deciding right game plan with especially could be seen especially with his substitutes as he did take away Salih Ucan who has been one of the best players and instead kept players who were showing its best performance. Besiktas in this game did look better in 2nd half which did come partly from Trabzonspor getting tired and also showing some fighting spirit among introduction of Cenk Tosun.

Besiktas is being in good position in the standings and is still being at leadership race but performance wise it doesnt provide much hope.

Trabzonspor has been closer to get win against Besiktas.

In our blog, its been mentioned that 4:0 win against Monaco at Europa League would have positive impact on team and it did carried on like that as it did provide strong attacking game with creating chances.

Trabzonspor has been showing much more willingness to get win with strong attacking game until end of 2nd half, as tiredness of the side did come and due of that it went into defensive game which rose even more after 70th minute. Both Besiktas and Trabzonspor played for win but got draw.

Turkish Super League 10th week game between Besiktas and Trabzonspor has been ended with 2:2 scoreline as game has been played in played with fast tempo as both sides did aim to get win which led for open football.

Besiktas has been observed to be providing pretty different game from previous one, as he had shown more defensive and controllable game and has shown much more attacking game during 2nd half which been due to some extend of expecting that Trabzonspor has become tired from midweek game. Still, it needs to be mentioned that it took time for Besiktas to get into game which to some extend did lead for them to concede an early goal on 11th minute but after that it did raise tempo. It also needs to be mentioned that introduction on the field of Cenk Tosun has once again shown how important player he is for team in sense of attack as side did find a goal on 70th minute and has also created some other opportunities as game has been developed. Hence, to some extend we are seeing different Besiktas when its playing with other big clubs, as it did against Fenerbahce, where it starts game in slow tempo and raises it in 2nd half, opposite of other games.

Even through lots of people were expecting for Trabzonspor to be tired and not providing high tempo against Besiktas, our blog has argued that win against Monaco with confident scoreline might have positive impact to team and thats more or less what happened as Trabzonspor during 1st half has provided fast tempo game and has shown strong willingness to go at attack which led them to find an early goal from Maxi Gomez and also Trezeguet using an opportunity from Masuaku. Hence, Trabzonspor did play for win during most of the team but did go into defence as sign of tiredness did become clear as would been expected and hence towards end of the game has provided mainly not to lose game which could be highly anticipated and understandable. It has been especially important for Maxi Gomez, who did join side with though of being  main goalscorer, his first goal in the league in such important point would have important positive impact for upcoming games.

Galatasaray got unexpected result and performance against Kayserispor

Kayserispor has got highly unexpected but in same well-deserved win against Galatasaray as it has shown positive attacking for most amount of the game and in overall has shown highly concentrated performace.

It needs to be mentioned that with differences of quality between sides and also recent results which Galatasaray did get against opponent, there was an expectation for Galatasaray to get confident win but it has been very far away. In fact, Kayserispor has shown performance which was expected from them as it is being side which did create opportunities while Istanbul giant defence did look pretty passive with attack did create some chances with Icardi but still were not in level to score goal. It needs to be mentioned that Galatasaray did provide some improvement with its performance at the 2nd part of 2nd half especially but it is being too little too late especially when looking that Kayserispor were detirmed to get an historical win on their side and did show strong defensive performance and did prevent opponent to get clear chances. Only positive side from Galatasaray has been first goal of Baris Alper at his new club and in fact he did score beforehand but it needs to be mentioned that this goal will certainly will make him unsatisfied.

Kayserispor without doubt has deserved this win entirely with providing confident attacking game and aso strong defensive game and in short has been side which wanted to win. Kayserispor such performance also provided positive side as team would be tough to beat with such game plan.

Galatasaray were expected by many to get confident win but apart of have star players, their didnt get into level which has been expected from them.

Besiktas would need to show top level game for 90 minutes. 

Without doubt game between Besiktas and Trabzonspor is being one of the most anticipated game during this week as both sides would be aiming to give strong message that their are aiming to be among clubs to fight for leadership in the league.

Besiktas did manage to league game after 3 games last week against Giresunspor in pretty tough and fought game and even through side performance could be criticised, that win has provided strong confidence and morale to the side which it would be aiming to carry on at the game against Trabzonspor.
