What happened in Turkish football today? 10/10/2021

Turkey needs to end bad luck against Latvia

Turkish National Team is going to continue its fight for getting runners-up spot at World Cup qualifier with problematic side of Latvia in the game where it can only win game following draw against Norway.

With ending Norway game with 1:1 draw and providing not very good game against highly absent opponent, it still keeps chances for 2nd spot but it would be playing against side which it tend to have issues to win for long time including not entering to Euro 2012. However, even through as been noted 1st test with Kuntz didnt go as planned, coach does provide some positive actions such as highly motivating side and this could be affected positevely but without doubt most important aspect for them is being to show strong confident game for 90 minutes and control game.

Turkey cant afford to lose upcoming 3 games and wait for loss of points preferably from Norway but it needs to get result from its unexpected problematic opponent.

Olympique Lyon and Nantes interested to sign Kerem Akturkoglu.

Olympique Lyon and Nantes are reported to show strong interest to Galatasaray player Kerem Akturkoglu who does have strong potential and could become great player at European side.

Without doubt one of the main players who developed in recent years in Turkey is being Kerem Akturkoglu who doesnt only show strong performance right now but tends to improve as time goes by which does show that he is looking for personnel development in serious manner which without doubt would be one of the aspects which Akturkoglu makes attractive to French sides. Even through Galatasaray would not hope to sell him, setting transfer fee as 10 million euro, it is good time for him to go to Europe and would likely to consider offer from two French sides seriously.

This interests is being strong one and we would follow it as it could one of the most discussed during mid-season transfer window.

Adem Hasic players licence will be released in January

Besiktas is planning to provide its player Adem Hasic players licence in January as he would be entering 18 years old.

Hasic has been signed as full potential but due of underage couldnt be signing professional contract but with player expecting also to recover from injury latest in November, club would be signing professional licence for him and let him to play even more in the league games in upcoming period of time. This certainly would provide needed strength to the side.

Therefore, this development would be good one for side and provide options to Sergen Yalcin in 2nd half of the season,
