What happened in Turkish football today? 05/09/2021

It took 58 minutes to score against weakest side in continent

Turkish National Team did get win against weakest opponent in whole continent with 3:0 scoreline and has kept leadership at World Cup Qualifiers but despite of all that didnt provide performance which been expected from side.

Even through Turkey did get 3 goals thanks to substitutes which usually are being regular starting 11, its alternative did have some serious issues during 1st half which does question condition of those players and also tactics which been submitted by Senol Gunes. In fact, tactical game could also question as goals did come from skills differences between side. It is true that its tough to find 1st goal against such opponents as quite naturally those sides tend to defence but 58 minutes is being long time. It needs to be reminded that before goal Gibraltar has almost scored and did have some opportunities. It needs to be praised Gibraltar for effort which their show and showing focussed game providing its best game, but Turkey is being side which made game slightly difficult.

Winning its been important but its opponent which needs to be beaten and there are some questions prior to Holland game at Turkish side.

Fatih Karagumruk loans Derrick Luckassen for 2-years.

Fatih Karagumruk has loaned PSV Eindhoven player Derrick Luckassen as has provided significant strength for its squad in those last days of summer transfer window.

Without doubt for side in level of Fatih Karagumruk and aims it has which is possibly being taking Conference League spot in the end of the season, getting midfielder like Derrick Luckassen would be providing important strength for the side and with loaning for 2-years kind shows it does have long plans both with player and aims as side would be having some crucial aspects after successful previous season. This would be also be important move from Luckassen as it would assist him to develop as player as he likely to be regular at the side.

Fatih Karagumruk possibly made its last transfer this summer and this one being pretty crucial for side for upcoming 2 years.

Besiktas are interested to sign David Luiz.

Besiktas are reported to be having transfer negotiations with David Luiz as we are getting closer to summer transfer window deadline on 8th September.

With signing one of important names from football world including Miralem Pjanic earlier this week and despite of Besiktas CEO Ahmet Nur Cebi that this transfer is being last one in this window, there are some reports that club focusses into signing free agent player David Luiz which he has without doubt strong career behind him. There are reports of him recieving high number of offers from other club so therefore it might not be so easy for Besiktas and we would follow how this story would develop.

If it manages to sign Luiz he will not be included at Champions League but could be crucial player at domestic games for sure.
