Trabzonspor lost 2 very important points against Alanyaspor.
Trabzonspor did lose very important 2 points in its title race against Alanyaspor during Super League 28th week which has been some as training game prior to Turkish Cup final and currently finds itself behind Basaksehirspor.
It should be noted that Trabzonspor did provide good start of the game during both halves but did get behind in both occassions due of much relaxation from scoreline which should not be accepted tactics for team which is currently at intense title race and each point is being very important in such close competition with Basaksehirspor. Even through Trabzonspor did miss some of the key players in the team such as Anthony Nwakaeme and Jose Sosa this should not be treated as an excuse as it does have some strong alternatives in its squad. It was especially focussed that Trabzonspor showed too much relaxation after 2:1 which did lead for high number of the chances and eventually did find goal thanks to the Bakasetas. Without doubt, it did look like their did take opponents too lightly even through Alanyaspor provide to be strong team this season.
Trabzonspor needs to get lessons from this game as it cant afford to make same mistakes during last 6 weeks of this season if it wants title in the end of the season.
Trabzonspor and Alanyaspor administrators had very heated argument following game
It needs to be noted however that events which took place following Alanyaspor and Trabzonspor between administrators which been ended up with heated argument between club's CEO Hakan Calhanoglu and Ahmet Agaoglu has put shadow of game itself.
Both clubs are throwing statements that other side has used some foul language, including touching their relatives, which led for them to use some agressive behaviour between each other. Trabzonspor side including Ahmet Agaoglu states that in his belief this is being provacative action to provide issues towards side as Alanyaspor aim was purely for his side to lose points and help Basaksehirspor to get closer for league title, as Alanyaspor did gain much from such draw and reminded that side didnt show that level performance last week against Basaksehirspor. On other side, Alanyaspor claims that Trabzonspor been one which started with agressive behavior and stating that Agaoglu has arrived while being heavily drunk as much as alcohol smell did come out from his mouth. Agaoglu denied that with going through alcohol test following game, which turned out to be 0 promil, and states that he never drank in his lifeitme.
As tends to be case in such issues both sides are showing blames to each other for starting this behaviour, but in either case such actions are not suitable for both clubs whatever reason is.
Ankaragucu has fired its coach Mustafa Resit Akcay
Ankaragucu has fired its head coach Mustafa Resit Akcay as side finds itself in the last place of the standings in the end of this week and is likely to be fired purely for his performance.
It needs to be noted even through Ankaragucu is currently last place it is being 4 points behind from save zone which could be achieved task without doubt with 6 weeks left on the table but it is clear that club administrators dont see Akcay capable to keep side on the Super League in the end of the season. As it is known, keeping side in the Super League is by itself difficult task and does need to be approached differently by head coaches, so it could be noted that replacement for Akcay should be someone whi is aware of such scenarios and would be able to keep motivation and confidence high of players to achieve this difficult task.
With new head coach Ankaragucu still get crucial points to stay in the league but apart performance it needs to get into correct mindset.
