Sivasspor last minute equaliser kept their league titles alive.
Last minute goal from Sivasspor player Skubelic which saved 1 point during Super League 28th week game against Konyaspor has meant that his club are currently being 6 point behind current leaders Basaksehirspor and kept them at title race with 6 games left in this season.
It needs to be noted that Sivasspor didnt provide high level performance until 70th minute of the game, with Konyaspor who needed to get win to keep themselves above relegation zone did provide much better control of the game. Not counting great goal from Kone, it could be stated that Sivasspor didnt provide much view of the side which is being fighting for league title which to some extend could be related due of high pressure and also not being in great form following lockdown break. However, it did show strong fighting spirit following 70th minutes where it started providing much more stronger forward seeking tempo with raising tempo and beeing awarded for their effort with Skubelic goal who did come out from substitute and without being among players who raised tempo of the game in the front for sure. This attitude does show that Sivasspor mentally would be aiming for its fight for title as long as it can with being 6 points behind leaders with 18 points being in disposal this season.
It needs to be noted that Konyaspor did provide strong effort to fighting for very crucial win for them and had strong control of the ball but tiredness from such pressure which it been at did pay its costs, but it did provide some positive view for their aim to stay in league for last 6 weeks.
Sivasspor did lose 2 points which could strongly affect with their league title aims but way this point been gained would provide high motivation for upcoming games.
Galatasaray are currently being 8 points behind leaders with drawing against Gaziantep.
Galatasaray did lose 2 points during Super League 28th week game against Gaziantep and reduced its chances for league title very low at the high pressure game which without doubt did provide high level excitement especially during 2nd half.
Without doubt following losing next week, Galatasaray did come out for this game against Gaziantep with focus to win game and keep its title chances alive but it didnt get good start of the game with being team which did concede goal first from great goal from Twumasi. However, it has managed to turn around game for 2nd part of 1st half with raising tempo and finding two goals with Radamel Falcao and Younes Belhanda. With getting 3:1 advantage it was expected from Galatasaray to get muvh more effective and controllable goal, but Adem Celik red card did spoil everything and without doubt provided strong confidence to Gaziantep to provide much more effective attacking game as it has found 2 goals, with one coming from penalty kick on last second of the game as Galatasaray did provide rush and panicked game. Without doubt with having some absences during this game, which especially include Muslera did have negative impact to the team.
Gaziantep on their part provided strong attitude of the game with showing strong character staying at the game and providing right focus following red card of their opponents providing much pressure to Galatasaray and hence getting 1 point for title contenders.
With Galatasaray losing 5 points following lockdown, it does find itself at difficult task for title with being 8 points behind leaders with 18 possible points but does have hope as it would be playing against Basaksehirspor and Trabzonspor next 2 weeks.
Fenerbahce has provided another dissapointing performance, this time against Kasimpasa
Fenerbahce carries on providing very dissapointing performance right now as it has lost to Kasimpasa with 2:0 scoreline and its chances to get into last Europa League even further even if 5th spot would be getting into tourament.
It needs to be noted that Fenerbahce did have good start of the game with having high number of the chances but didnt manage to convert it but did provide much better performance during 1st half and looked to be more aiming to get win compare to their opponents. However, with Fenerbahce losing tempo which it ded get from 1st half and Kasimpasa providing much more forward seeking performance did lead for them to be going much forward and getting good goal from Thiam. Still, there were some moments which would make Fenerbahce pretty unhappy with penalty decision for Fenerbahce being cancelled from VAR decision and also scored goal by Mevlut Erdinc during 88th minute due of hand ball. This performance does provide look that Fenerbahce will have difficult time during last 6 games with aiming into getting good result with such performance and mind set.
Kasimpasa meanwhile didnt have very good start of the game but provided much more attacking performance which led them to get 2 goals and it needs to be noted that did get good result and has got deserved win.
Despite of 1st half high level performance, Fenerbahce did provide ineffective performance and makes clear that players has issues with focussing into games and getting high tempo during games.
