Despite of poor game, Basaksehirspor kept its advantage for title race.

Team which actually provided slightly worser performance during Super League between Basaksehirspor and Galatasaray, actually ended up being winner from this game compare to team which played better, as Basaksehirspor kept its top position with 5 weeks left this season.

It could be noted that Basaksehirspor during start of 1st and 2nd half did provide better game but in overall it did provide much more defensive game with making some mistakes and looked to be panicked. Even through club is being known to provide more defensive and controllable which was also seen during this game, what made surprising is didnt get much control of the ball with focussing too much on defence. With coach Okan Buruk stating after game that club went into too much into defence could provide view that side did show this due of psychological pressure. However, it was surprising to see for Basaksehirspor to be so much panicked as even through their even lost game, their would kept leadership and still be closer for title. In fact, Basaksehirspor need to find more itself lucky with this point but needs to take lesson from this game as it would have some tough games with sides aiming to stay at league.

Basaksehirspor still has 2 points advantage over Trabzonspor and 8+1 points with Galatasaray due of head to head, this should provide some confidence for last 5 games at league.

Galatasaray showed good game but lost its chance for title very likely.

Despite of having some absences on its squad due of injuries, it needs to be noted that Galatasaray did provide some good performances against Basaksehirspor but still got 1 point and now its chances for title are being low as it would need Basaksehirspor to lose 3 games and also Trabzonspor to lose points.

Despite of losing crucial 2 points, Galatasaray provided its best performance following Covid 19 pandemic but in our view it didnt get winning due of failing raising tempo into high levels which did happen due of one thing which Basaksehirspor did manage is to reduce tempo of the game. Still, Galatasaray deserves praise since players did come out for the game being aware its their last hope at title race but missing crucial attackers on front did provide that needed important touch which did come only once through Emre Akbaba goal. Galatasaray would now need to focus for possibly getting 2nd Champions League but to achieve that their would need to get win from Trabzonspor as loss in that game would make point difference to 9 points with top 2 sides. Therefore, its crucial for players to believe their can achieve that in way their did in this game.

Once again this point didnt too much help for title race for Galatasaray, but high level concentration needs to be praised for them.

Sivasspor performance is surely not enough for title hopes.

Sivasspor continues with showing poor performance following Covid 19 break, losing 3 points against Kayserispor which is currently providing its fight to stay on the league even through it needs to be admitted their opponents did come out with form.

It could be noticed that start of the game did been go for how Sivasspor wanted with creating chances and having penalty kick chance on 15th minute. However, for Sivasspor in negative meaning turning point of game did come out from this penalty kick with Mert Hakan Yandas not being able to score goal and with him and also whole side losing concentration for rest of the game without doubt. With Sivasspor showing much more slower and ineffective performance, this without doubt did provide motivational boost for Kayserispor who started going even more ahead and did find goal in the end of the half. Thanks to this goal and with Sivasspor still providing bad game, Kayserispor started showing even more attacking game which gained them, even through, questionable penalty decision with that goal ending Sivasspor hopes entirely. Sivasspor for 75 minutes did provide very poor game and looks to be out of form which hence surely reduce their title hopes.

With being 7 points behind leaders it still has small chance for rest of the 5 weeks but with such performance it would not be able to achieve it even if teams above them will lose points.

Basaksehirspor is being more advantegous from draw despite not providing great game.

Basaksehirspor manages to stay at the top of the table with 5 weeks left until end of the season, despite of drawing against Galatasaray with 1:1 scoreline and not providing very effective performance apart of start of 2nd half.

With both Trabzonspor and Sivasspor losing 2 points and playing with Galatasaray who had absences of some of its key players, Basaksehirspor did come out to the game with good opportunity to open its point difference against its main rivals. It needs to be noted that as usual Basaksehirspor did start game on more or less in its own control with letting game to be played in pretty slow tempo which will be going into its advantage, as it could be struggling with game played at fast tempo. It did been noted above Basaksehirspor did start 2nd half in pretty good performance looking for chances back-to-back and with finding crucial goal by Aleksic. However, even through it could been accepted, control of the game did go into hand of Galatasaray who started showing much more attacking performance finding goal with Akbaba and continuing in same manner after scoring.  Meanwhile, one of the unexpected event has been for Edin Visca to get his 1st red card in his Super League career which did go into hand for Galatasaray. It needs to be noted that Mert Gunok performance with crucial saves which kept side at the game. Surprisingly towards end of the game, Basaksehirspor looked to be more panicked and making mistakes even through it condition in the table could lead them to be more in control.

Galatasaray who did come out to the game with 8 points behind of Basaksehirspor, it was expected for them to give their best performance. Even through compare to both teams, Galatasaray looked to be more in control of the game but still absences of its players did affect to its whole game and couldnt provide needed tempo to find needed goal as it is hard to beat Basaksehirspor with providing medium tempo game. Still it needs to be noted that Galatasaray provided right attitude as it provided strong attacking game and does keep its title hopes arrive even through it does have difficulty to achieve it as with possible 15 points left this season, it is being 8 points behind from Basaksehirspor. Therefore, it does look best option for them is to stay focussed for rest of the season, especially against Trabzonspor as win in that game could help them to become runners-up and get Champions League spot. Overall, its performance is being good but its key for not winning been not getting into tempo it seeked for.

Despite of losing 2 points and providing worser performance then Galatasaray, to some extend winner of this week been Basaksehirspor as it kept top position and kept same point advantage prior to this week for title.

Sivasspor continues losing point and gets further from title hopes.

Sivasspor did lose unexpected points during Super League 29th week game against Kayserispor and did put its chances for league title into difficult task as it finds itself 7 points behind league leaders Basaksehirspor.

Apart of raising point difference with leaders with 5 games left until end of the season, what is more worrying is that it did provide some performance since league has been restarted and does provide view of not being ready for end of the season, factor which been mentioned from coach Riza Calimbay several times prior to restart and following it. It needs to be noted that Sivasspor did start game with high tempo creating chances back-to-back and did even got penalty kick which wasnt converted by Mert Hakan Yandas. In fact, with missing penalty kick performance level of Yandas and also by whole club it did lose whole control with Kayserispor looked to be more effective and with gaining confidence as game progressed, Kayserispor did score goal during last minute of 1st half. This performance does provide some worrying image. Meanwhile, penalty goal during 2nd half is being pretty questionable if it was outside penalty kick.

Kayserispor on other side did get important win in its aim to stay in the league and despite still ending week at relegation zone, it finds in same point until safe zone and for sure this win against title contender would provide motivation and confidence for rest of the season.

Sivasspor did lose crucial game against Kayserispor and would have difficult task to focus into rest of the season as it doesnt look to be providing confident performance in recent weeks.

Trabzonspor loses crucial points during title race

Trabzonspor continues losing very important points during its title race, as it has lost 2 points during previous two games this time against last-place Ankaragucu and does provide some worrying image prior to next week game against Galatasaray.

It needs to be stated that Trabzonspor did start game in perfect manner it could as it found goal from Alexandr Sorloth during 3rd minute of the game but rather then providing strong performance following such goal, it provided very slow tempo to an extend which was suitable for Trabzonspor. It needs to be noted that during whole season, Trabzonspor does provide high number loss of points when getting ahaed and despite being on 2nd place and among title favourites, its been most team to lose points like that during this season. Without doubt club needs to find solution to this and not repeat it for last 5 games if it wants to get title in the end of the season. Meanwhile, there is been high level of complaints regarding of penalty decision but it needs to be noted that it was right decision since Pereira did play with hand.

Trabzonspor does provide some worrying image and even through it does have number of injuries, it does have squad which need to win games while fighting for title.

Trabzonspor lost crucial 2 points for its title aims.

Trabzonspor continues with losing points during its title race as we entering to last 5 games of the season, as this time it has drawn with last place Ankaragucu as side did provide pretty slow and ineffective performance.

It needs to be noted that game did start in a manner which would been satisfying for Trabzonspor, as their found an early goal on 3rd minute with header from Alexandr Sorloth. In fact, it been expected that side would build on up and provide much more attacking game but as game has continued it did lose tempo and did go much uneventful for both sides. Trabzonspor once again has shown its weakness note during this season which is after getting ahead it did lose points again becoming most club to do and still doesnt seem to be solving its issue for taking things until end of the game during whole season. This is taking account that Trabzonspor did play with extra man during around 20 minutes but among failing to score goal but didnt even manage to create much chances which could be praised though with strong defensive game from Ankaragucu. It does look issue which it does have of not playing high level game for 90 minutes would be main reason for side to lose title this season.

Ankaragucu as been expected didnt look to be side which could provide same level performance but it did provide good defensive game and always stayed on game with finding penalty goal and did provide positive view with 1st game with Ibrahim Uzulmez as side tries to stay on league.

Trabzonspor did lose 2 points once again and if Basaksehirspor manages to beat Galatasaray point difference would raise to 4 points, but more importantly it needs to improve for next week against Galatasaray.

Ozan Tufan 2 goals at additional time has brought win to Fenerbahce.

Fenerbahce has got win during Super League 29th week game against Yeni Malatyaspor thanks to additional time 2 goals from Ozan Tufan at the game where all of the 5 goals did come during last 20 minutes of the game.

It needs to be noted that both sides did fail to provide very effective game during 1st half with it being played in very low tempo with both sides failing to create any chances with Fenerbahce especially looking slow and not very effective and it also took them some time when Yeni Malatyaspor player Gokhan Tore did get red card. In fact, its slow tempo of the game does provide some issues. But after 70th minute both sides did raise tempo with Vedat Muriqi scoring good header goal which didnt also effect performance but Yeni Malatyaspor who started showing higher tempo game scoring 2 goals between 81st and 89th minute which been strong reaction without doubt when having one less men. But Ozan Tufan has shown incredible character with finding 2 goals on extra-time providing strong fight until last minute in similar manner as Fenerbahce did in its previous home game against and keep its chances for Europa League spot but still with performance wise didnt show great game since it got back with extra men which it needs to work on.

Yeni Malatyaspor performance during last minutes of the game without doubt been pretty memorable with getting ahead on 81st and 89th minute prior to the extra time  with having one less men prior to game. Even through it did lose game it showed great character.

Despite of poor performance from Fenerbahce it still provided last minute fight showing that it was hungry to win game and keep themselves at the Europa League chances arrive for last 5 games.

Besiktas carries on showing strong and confident performance.

Besiktas continues with providing an impressive performance during last 2 weeks as it won against
Konyaspor with confident game with 3:0 scoreline and continues its aim at ending season at top 3.

It needs to be noted to some extend that an early red card by Konyaspor player Amir Hadziametovic, who got pretty preventable card on 15th minute did provide task for Besiktas much easier as it also been side which shown strong control of the game. To some extend, with Konyaspor being known for strong defence and poor attacking game its been important during this game to find winning goal which took 40 minutes, until Burak Yilmaz has scored crucial goal from great shot. After such goal, things as would been expected dd go much more easier to extend that following 3rd goal on 51st minute it did reduce tempo of the game. Meanwhile, one of the key player has been Ridvan Yilmaz who provided great assists during game and does provide view of being crucial future star player both to Besiktas and national team in future with club showing strong and confident attacking game in overall.

Besiktas are currently focussing to get 5 wins out of 5 and with such performance it could achieve that and if lucky end season at top 3 spots at the end.

Besiktas has got confident win against Konyaspor.

Besiktas continues providing strong and confident performance with 2 weeks back-to-back this time winning Konyaspor with 3:0 scoreline and this taking account that it was reported with 2 Covid19 positive tests on previous day.

As been stated with Besiktas head coach in recent weeks, Besiktas are aiming to win all of its games until end of the season with an aim to end season at best position it can and does keep its chances for title even through its been difficult aim as it reduced point difference with Basaksehirspor to 9 points with opponent have game in hand while Besiktas has 5 games so its more focussed into top 4 spot for sure. Returning to the game, it needs to be noted that finding 1st goal from great shot from Burak Yilmaz on 40th minute did provide good performance but did have an issue to get passed. In fact, to some extend it was clear that key to the game would been finding 1st goal for Besiktas as Konyaspor did focus mainly with defending game which tends to be its style of play and tactics for this time for long time. Without doubt red card of Konyaspor player did also made things for Besiktas. In overall, Besiktas did provide strong and confident performance during last 2 weeks and with such set of mind could complete with 100% record until end of the season.

Konyaspor tactics of play as seems to be for most of the games is to focus into defensive game with preventing which does trick until it concedes but when it responds it fails to do in effective way especially against strong  clubs. It needs to provide more effective attack game if it wants to stay in league.

With current position in the league, best Besiktas can do right now is to aim to win rest of the 5 games in league and see where it would lead them on final standings.

Trabzonspor are focussed to title but Ankaragucu can provide this issues in this week.

Following 2 points loss against Alanyaspor during last week which following with heated argument between both sides and also in week when Basaksehirspor and Galatasaray will be playing against each other, Trabzonspor would come out to struggling Ankaragucu with an aim to win game.

Without doubt, both physically and mentally, Trabzonspor are being focussed right now for title in this season and does see loss of points against Alanyaspor due of bad day and some external factors. Despite of all that, it is been visible that strong belief and concentration by club is not being reduced and with some injuries coming back to side, especially Jose Sosa would provide strong strength for such game. Even through Ankaragucu is currently at last place to some extend does make task for them to some extend hard as their opponents would provide high level performance and for sure could see possible, at least point, from Trabzonspor as extra point. In addition without doubt newly appointed Ibrahim Uzulmez would be aiming to show good start at his new club.

Trabzonspor would surely come out as favourite but its always been tough to play against sides which aim to stay in league without doubt.

Fenerbahce could not be concentrated enough for Yeni Malatyaspor game.

Without doubt one of the clubs which did restart poorly this season following Covid19 break, even through it did provide similar performance before break, has been Fenerbahce and it would be aiming to show some improvement in this week against Yeni Malatyaspor.

With losing its chances for title and Champions League spot, its main aim for sure did been to win Turkish Cup but it did lose to Trabzonspor at semi-final stage and would ending this season without much aims apart of possible to end season at high note. Still, with being with loss of motivation and confidence following such loss and also poor game against Kasimpasa, it would not be expected from them to show good performance against Yeni Malatyaspor. Even through Yeni Malatyaspor as team being more or less in same position in standings and dont have much aims, beating one of the biggest clubs in country could provide additional motivation to them which could be key aspect to win at this game. It could be noted that team did show some good performance during this season, so it could be slighly more favourite.

With Fenerbahce showing poor performance and lack of concentration, Yeni Malatyaspor are being slighly more favourite for game.

Besiktas will be aiming to show attacking game against Konyaspor.

Super League 29th week game will be starting with Besiktas and Konyaspor game, as Istanbul side even through still have small mathematical chance for league title, is more realistic aim to end league at top 4 spot and get UEFA competitions spot.

It is been known for some time now, that Besiktas main aim is to complete this season with 6 wins back-to-back and did show that it aims to achieve with some positive performance with confident last win game where it has dominated game for most amount of time. One of the main worrying image for Besiktas however is aspect that its players Jeremain Lens and Adem Ljajic, who provided good performance in last game will not be playing due of injury and this could provide some negative impact towards club in this game. Konyaspor on their part are currently being close to relegation zone and would be aiming to get win so their would be aiming to provide organised especially in defence performance as side did gain some confidence following 1 point against Sivasspor.

Besiktas would be coming as favourites but it would not be easy game and they would need to show strong game if they want to get win.

Ogulcan Caglayan aims to terminate extension contract with Rizespor.

Even through Rizespor did use legally correctly an extension option with its player Ogulcan Caglayan, it is reported that players considers to terminate contract with his club as he considers to join Galatasaray in summer transfer window.

It is being known for long time right now that Galatasaray are having transfer negotiations with Ogulcan Caglayan for long time and player did make principal agreement with side for summer. In fact, this is main reason for Caglayan aiming to terminate contract to make his move in easier way. It is easy to quess that Rizespor were also aware that this transfer deal between Caglayan and Galatasaray been made, so it is been purely tactical move to get transfer fee from this deal which Istanbul club would need to pay if Caglayan does or fails to terminate contract. Rizespor CEO Hasan Kartal, who did state that Caglayan is unhappy for this extension, did make cunning and maybe not very goodwill but in same time it is tactic which according to player contract is legimate.

It does look certain for sure Caglayan will move to Galatasaray in summer but would his new club need to pay transfer fee or not would become clear in upcoming weeks.

Referees are being under attack from top clubs again.

With Super League being resumed following Covid19 break, conversations at the football community are getting into old selves with once again one of the heated arguments between referees decision and talks by club that their is prevention for them to become champions.

Without surprise, mainly due of recent loss of points, Galatasaray is taking leading right now believing that referees playing crucial role to prevent them ending season with title ignoring to some their own poor performance. This conversation went so far at blaming referee for making correct decision regarding 6-second goalkeeper rule but arguing that decision wasnt made for longer time and purposefelly being used against them. Other club which entered to this discussion also been Trabzonspor with losing 2 points against Alanyaspor in pretty cotroversial game due of events among club's administrators. Trabzonspor tend to argue that referees are being appointed by club's administrators who are members of TFF administrative team also, argument which without doubt does take pretty serious conviction. Therefore, it does look this talks would be rised as we are getting closer to end of the season, with top clubs whereever using points would through blame more to referees then into themselves.

This treatment of losing points and throwing blame to referees being tactic which been used for ages and likely to continue for many years to come.

Ankaragucu has appointed Ibrahim Uzulmez as club's head coach

It is reported that Ankaragucu, which has terminated contract on 23rd June with Mustafa Resit Akcay, has made deal with Ibrahim Uzulmez who has ended contract with Bursaspor just few days ago. Despite of that, he could be seen as good choice.

To all respect, Ibrahim Uzulmez would not be seen as yet into level of top coach, but he does some experience with clubs which are being at relegation zone and hence would know psychology and condition of players, as our blog did state yesterday that this could be very important aspect with clubs which are providing survival aims in the Super League. This experience for sure could provide needed push which players would need and could also provide strong motivation to Uzulmez with being such difficult condition. With being located in last place, it is only 4 points behind safe zone so even through it is difficult task it could be achieved if players will get into correct mind set for those games.

Taking account he is among few available coaches right now, Ankaragucu might not have much option but this one could be one to stay at top league next season.

Galatasaray needs to find fault within themselves when losing Yandas at transfer front.

One of the most discussed topics at the Turkish football community is being transfer deal made by Sivasspor player Mert Hakan Yandas with Fenerbahce despite of active news that player been made deal with Galatasaray since January.

Even through Galatasaray would be feeling tricked for this development and be unhappy of actions by both player and Fenerbahce, it needs to be noted that Galatasaray is being in fault in itself without providing right treatment of this matter and possibly seeing it as done deal. Issues did come out when player and Fenerbahce did have some disagreements regarding of transfer value and with Fenerbahce getting information that sides does have issue with agreeing into deal did come inside and provided much better transfer offer and promised crucial role in the team. With Galatasaray focussing for recent years mainly into foreign players with starting games sometimes only with them could be one of the reasons since Fenerbahce even through not in level which would be wanted, does give opportunities to Turkish players much more, so it could be expected for Yandas to make such deal.

Galatasaray could be felt betrayed but it is being one who did lose transfer deal with Yandas and on point when it was almost been finalised.

Gokhan Gonul will extend contract with Besiktas for 1+1 years

It is reported that Besiktas are being close to make extension deal for 1+1 years with its player Gokhan Gonul, as player does provide one of the strong performance in recent period of time and being one of the key players at the club.

Gokhan Gonul for sure is among players who does provide full professionality aspects in this game and hence this being responded possivily into the side for sure. It is reported also that Besiktas administrators are satisfied in such level that it would like him to end his footballing career in this club. This news also means that his possibility going back to Fenerbahce would not be case since it was been stated by club that their would only start negotiations if he would not make deal with Besiktas. Meanwhile, players also seems to be fine with reduction of salaires an issue which Besiktas aims to solve for next season with all players.

This for sure is being advantage deal for both sides since Besiktas were satisfied with Gonul performance while player is being happy in the club.

Trabzonspor lost 2 very important points against Alanyaspor.

Trabzonspor did lose very important 2 points in its title race against Alanyaspor during Super League 28th week which has been some as training game prior to Turkish Cup final and currently finds itself behind Basaksehirspor.

It should be noted that Trabzonspor did provide good start of the game during both halves but did get behind in both occassions due of much relaxation from scoreline which should not be accepted tactics for team which is currently at intense title race and each point is being very important in such close competition with Basaksehirspor. Even through Trabzonspor did miss some of the key players in the team such as Anthony Nwakaeme and Jose Sosa this should not be treated as an excuse as it does have some strong alternatives in its squad. It was especially focussed that Trabzonspor showed too much relaxation after 2:1 which did lead for high number of the chances and eventually did find goal thanks to the Bakasetas. Without doubt, it did look like their did take opponents too lightly even through Alanyaspor provide to be strong team this season.

Trabzonspor needs to get lessons from this game as it cant afford to make same mistakes during last 6 weeks of this season if it wants title in the end of the season.

Trabzonspor and Alanyaspor administrators had very heated argument following game

It needs to be noted however that events which took place following Alanyaspor and Trabzonspor between administrators which been ended up with heated argument between club's CEO Hakan Calhanoglu and Ahmet Agaoglu has put shadow of game itself.

Both clubs are throwing statements that other side has used some foul language, including touching their relatives, which led for them to use some agressive behaviour between each other. Trabzonspor side including Ahmet Agaoglu states that in his belief this is being provacative action to provide issues towards side as Alanyaspor aim was purely for his side to lose points and help Basaksehirspor to get closer for league title, as Alanyaspor did gain much from such draw and reminded that side didnt show that level performance last week against Basaksehirspor. On other side, Alanyaspor claims that Trabzonspor been one which started with agressive behavior and stating that Agaoglu has arrived while being heavily drunk as much as alcohol smell did come out from his mouth. Agaoglu denied that with going through alcohol test following game, which turned out to be 0 promil, and states that he never drank in his lifeitme.

As tends to be case in such issues both sides are showing blames to each other for starting this behaviour, but in either case such actions are not suitable for both clubs whatever reason is.

Ankaragucu has fired its coach Mustafa Resit Akcay

Ankaragucu has fired its head coach Mustafa Resit Akcay as side finds itself in the last place of the standings in the end of this week and is likely to be fired purely for his performance.

It needs to be noted even through Ankaragucu is currently last place it is being 4 points behind from save zone which could be achieved task without doubt with 6 weeks left on the table but it is clear that club administrators dont see Akcay capable to keep side on the Super League in the end of the season. As it is known, keeping side in the Super League is by itself difficult task and does need to be approached differently by head coaches, so it could be noted that replacement for Akcay should be someone whi is aware of such scenarios and would be able to keep motivation and confidence high of players to achieve this difficult task.

With new head coach Ankaragucu still get crucial points to stay in the league but apart performance it needs to get into correct mindset.

Trabzonspor lost crucial 2 points as it draws against Alanyaspor.

Alanyaspor player Bakasetas last minute goal has brought an equaliser goal against Trabzonspor, which led their opponent to lose crucial 2 points in title race and lose leadership to Basaksehirspor with providing not very impressive performance.

Even through Trabzonspor did provide some good performance during 1st half and did start 2nd half in good manner and finding 2nd goal with Filip Novak on 50th minute, it could be noted that for rest of the 2nd half it did lose control of the game with Alanyaspor and could be seen to be lucky to get 1 point from such performance. It needs to be noted that Trabzonspor did play with some absences during game with especially Jose Sosa absence been felt during game which did lead for such performance, and meeting with one of the sides which does provide positive football and also being cup finalist did provide some difficulty towards them. With league getting to last 6 weeks during this season, every point is without being very important especially when its being same points with Basaksehirspor and side did lose its advantage. Still, it needs to be noted that Erce Kardesler performance in 2nd half who substituted injured goalkeeper on 1st half did provide very crucial saves to get this 1 point which could be crucial in title race.

Alanyaspor whose chance for title and being bit outsider of Europa League spots, did see this game more like training for Turkish Cup final as it would be meeting against Trabzonspor. It needs to be noted that club did provide great performance and does make it clear it capable to provide performance in same level as Trabzonspor.

Trabzonspor didnt provide very effective performance during 2nd half with allowing its opponents to get high number of chances. Even through it does have some absences, it needs to show better game for title race.

Skubelic keeps its title chances arrive for Sivasspor.

Sivasspor carries on its hopes for league title alive thanks to last minute from Skubelic during Super League 28th week with 2:2 scoreline, and enters to last 6 weeks of the season with 6 point behind leaders.

It could be noted that for most amount of time as been noted on previous day entry, Sivasspor didnt provide specifically effective performance but performance and attitude it showed during last 20 minutes with providing all its effort to find equaliser did provide that it doesnt have any plans to fight for title during this last stage of the season. With having pretty strong fixture advantage since it would be playing against clubs which could be identifying as easy and not having supporters pressure during such period could go into their advantage as both Basaksehirspor and Trabzonspor would be meeting with Galatasaray which could lead to potential loss of points. Still, Sivasspor needs to be aiming to manage to keep control of the game for whole game if it doesnt want to lose some crucial points.

Sivasspor did get important point and with it coming in last minute likely to have positive impact in confidence for last games then negative one.

6-second rule has been used correctly towards Kocuk

With conceding goal from penalty goal during high -tension game against Gaziantep and ending game with 3:3 scoreline, it did found itself against leaders 8 points with only getting 1 point following resume of league after lockdown.

There has been high number of arguments and discussions regarding of 6-second rule used towards Galatasaray goalkeeper Orkun Kocuk who has kept ball in his hands for 18 seconds, which led for free-kick and later to penalty kick due of same position. Even through everyone agrees that according to rulebook decision is correct, it didnt been used for lots of years and hence should not be given. This argument in our view is pretty unusual since rule is correct but shouldnt be used is weird one, as it is crucial to follow rules. Our blog believes that decision has been right and all this arguments are premature. If anyone did make mistake in this position, it was Kocuk who did keep ball in full control. Despite of having one less men meanwhile, Galatasaray drawing game with 3:1 scoreline is still not acceptable and needs to find reasons why this outcome took place.

Galatasaray would play against Basaksehirspor and Trabzonspor next 2 weeks and those games would identify aims of the club for rest of season.

Results:
Turkish Super League, 28th week:
Alanyaspor 2:2 Trabzonspor
Antalyaspor 3:1 Rizespor
