Fenerbahce keeps its title chances alive with confident win against Trabzonspor.
Fenerbahce keeps its title chances alive following 3:1 win against Trabzonspor and hence getting also big win against "big 4"opponent in this season even through it needs to be mentioned that Trabzonspor are being far from its best performance during whole season.
With Fenerbahce also not playing in upcoming week and hence adding another additional 3 points, this win is being important to provide some little pressure to league leaders Galatasaray and keep hope alive both for themselves and its supporters. It needs to be mentioned that Fenerbahce has provided lots of belief with its performance especially during 1st half as it did control ball entirely and did create some key chances. It needs also mentioned that defensive performance has been also in good level as it did prevent for Trabzonspor to create lots of chances. Another positive point could be given to Irfan Can Egribat who despite did make some very simple mistakes, has stayed focus and did correct those mistakes straight away.
Fenerbahce hence did get an important win and now would be waiting for Galatasaray to lose at least 1 game of its next 2 meetings starting with Sivasspor.
Trabzonspor are currently focussed into next season.
Trabzonspor on their part did come to the game which did mean anything to them at standings and has been in relaxed mode and possibly too much as it did convert into good performance in general.
It is hard to analyse Trabzonspor as it both doesnt have any aims for rest of the season as winning or losing all games will not change anything and also Nenad Bjelica focussing more into studying his team capacity rather than aiming for wins. It needs to be mentioned meanwhile that throwing blame to Bjelica would be entirely wrong as his main aim is to know team and hence criticising result would be wrong. Question if those notes would lead to making strong team in summer for next season.
Trabzonspor is currently is experiminting and this converts do not very effective game as club waits for summer transfer window.
Galatasaray would seek to make another important step to title.
Galatasaray would be coming out to tough game without doubt against Sivasspor as the win would mean that it would be only 3 points behind league title and hence this could provide its performance on field.
Galatasaray would need to win only 2 games, and as been seen on previous game team is focussed into getting those wins rather than focussing into providing good performance which is highly understanable tactic from them. It would be expected for Galatasaray hence to keep focus into defensive game as it did against Istanbulspor on previous weeks and could only get 1 goal even there is possible it would seek for more due of push from home supporters. Sivasspor meanwhile regardless it tough period it goes through, has always shown some good performance against big clubs and hence would be seeking to find ways to break organised defensive game and could get surprising result which could change title race entirely.
Galatasaray are being strong favourite but still knowing level of Sivasspor it would be wrong to say that this game is surely on they pocket as some Turkish sports outlets do.
