Super League 2022-23 title is going to Galatasaray.

Galatasaray has won 23rd title at the league history after beating Ankaragucu with confident scoreline of 4:1 as side has shown strong character and willingness to win during 2nd half with Mauro Icardi scoring 2 goals and playing an important role.

It needs to be noted that Galatasaray did come out to the game with strong belief that it wont be winning title and it has shown this focus and character with Mauro Icardi goal on 7th minute as he was one of the main players who was pushing side into this title during recent weeks. Even through there were minutes when Ankaragucu did provide some pressure towards Galatasaray and did find an equaliser, Galatasaray has bounced back in short period of time and did find 2nd goal which ked then to get control of the game. With getting into half-time with 2:1 scoreline, it would need to be staying focus as opponent did look for draw which it did in great manner as it has controlled game until 70th minute and after that started showing much more aggressive game and did find 2 goals which led them to win title. Hence, Galatasaray has showed once again great character during this game as it did whole season and whole team did get well-deserved league title.

Ankaragucu it needs to be mentioned did come out to the game to get at least draw and it did provide such character and focus during 1st half as it did find an equaliser however it couldnt prevent their opponent who become more focussed during 2nd half.

Galatasaray hence become 2022-23 league title winners after beating Ankaragucu at away game with showing strong character for 90 minutes and such focus and character let them to get title in such manner. 

Fenerbahce did get win but it wasnt enough to keep title hopes alive.

Fenerbahce as it is known did come out to Antalyaspor with a focus to win game and also waiting for point loss from Galatasaray in Ankara and it did manage that with getting 2:0 scoreline but this game without doubt has affected from Galatasaray game.

It needs to be mentioned that Fenerbahce did find an early goal thanks to the Enner Valencia on 2nd minute as to some extend it aimed to send an important message to Galatasaray that it would win its own game but that didnt manage to provide pressure to title winners as it is known. In fact, poor game of Antalyaspor who is being one of the most disoriented side has led for such win as Fenerbahce morale has been affected without doubt to players. Antalyaspor as been noted has been pretty disoriented due of poor performance in recent weeks and this has affected negatively to this game also and apart of some chances it didnt provide much pressure to Fenerbahce goal and it does look like it would end season in such manner.

Trabzonspor get confident win against Giresunspor

Trabzonspor has got confident win against Giresunspor at the Black Sea derby with 4:2 scoreline and did win confidently for 2 weeks back-to-back as Nenad Bjelica has started sending message that he knows team well and wold make side which would win games.

Trabzonspor did set an eye for last games without doubt to win games in confident manner as we are entering to last weeks and taking account that Giresunspor did come out to game which it preferably needed to win game this result should be seen as good outcome for them without doubt. Hence, Trabzonspor is showing some positive game and last 2 games are showing lots of positive optimism for next season to its supporters.

Galatasaray would be coming out to secure its title against Ankaragucu.

Galatasaray would be coming to an away game against Ankaragucu with an aim to secure its title prior to season last game against Fenerbahce as win would make Super League champions of 2022-23 season.

Even through draw from the game would not be seen as problematic issue due of head-to-head with Fenerbahce, it would likely treat game in secure form and look for a win possibly looking for an early goal and afterwards controlling game as tactic and hence unlikely would come out with a focus to get draw despite of some suggestions from Turkish pundits. It needs to be mentioned that Galatasaray tends to provide good performance when getting scoreline when it seeks for so finding an early goal would be good outcome for them as 0:0 regardless how defence is would always keep game at danger. Ankaragucu meanwhile does provide some good positive game despite of being close to relegation zone and in fact there would try to get at least 1 point.

Samsunspor are interested to sign Okan Kocuk.

Samsunspor CEO Yuksel Yildirim has stated that he is interested to transfer Galatasaray player Okan Kocuk who will likely not recieve lots of playing time in upcoming season.

It needs to be mentioned that Okan Kocuk is being actually good goalkeeper as he did show both when he did have few chances in his club and also while being loan in different clubs but of course being 2nd man behind Fernando Muslera would reduce him to get lots of playing time. Besiktas would raise salary of its player Salih Ucan from 400,000 to 1.2 million euro.

Besiktas are considering to raise salary of its player 400,000 euro to 1.5 million euro of its player Salih Ucan who without doubt has shown a great performance for midfielder especially in the last week and club considers to reward him.

Salih Ucan has scored in total of 3 goals during this season but has provided most contribution in the attacking game with 8 assists and hence has played an important role in good results during recent weeks and has shown to be one of the key players both with his performance and connection to the club. Basaksehirspor has reached to Turkish Cup final where it would meet with Fenerbahce on 11th June in Izmir as it has managed to get through Ankaragucu with 3:2 aggregate with finding goal on 2nd extra time.

It needs to be mentioned that Basaksehirspor didnt have a good start of the game and didnt keep its advantegous scoreline as it did looked to be pretty passive which led them to concede an early goal on 11th minute however without doubt team did show pretty strong reaction and did find an equaliser during 2nd half and has been closed to get through but has conceded once again. Basaksehirspor did deserve to be on final in some moments but it did make its tasks harder and to some extend needless red card of opponent during 1st half of additional time has been key chance among Kony using their chances.

With this win Basaksehirspor has found themselves to be at final game and it tends to show some good performance when its needed and hence it would be able to provide some resistance to Fenerbahce.

Basaksehirspor gets to the Turkish Cup final after beating Ankaragucu on extra-time

Basaksehirspor has got ticket to the Turkish Cup final game as it has beaten Ankaragucu at extra-time thanks to the goal from Keny on 109th minute and also red card from Ninad Mujakic as Istanbul side wins tie with 3:2 aggregate scoreline and would meet Fenerbahce in Izmir on 11th June.

It needs to be emntioned that Basaksehirspor didnt specifically start game well as it did concede from Ali Sowe as early as 11th minute but this conceded goal has been waking up call as Basaksehirspor did manage to balance game and also got some very good chances with providing pretty good pressure to Ankaragucu. However, after finding goal and even through it has been side which did control game, it did show some relaxation and reduced tempo without providing too much effort into finding 2nd goal and hence get 2 goal advantage at the tie. At providing such performance, Ankaragucu did show an attacking towards end of the 90 minutes and did find a goal. Fenerbahce has managed to reach to the Turkish Cup final where it would be meeting with Basaksehirspor after getting pretty confident win against Sivasspor with 3:0 scoreline especially with dominating 2nd half of the game.

It could be mentioned that Fenerbahce did have some issues during 1st half where it did dominate possession but didnt get much opportunities towards goal due of good defensive game of Sivasspor and in fact did allow its opponent to create some chances. However, things has been changed entirely during 2nd half as Fenerbahce has created back-to-back chances and has dominated 2nd half which did happen more or less due of finding goal on 1st minute of 2nd half with great volley from Ferdi Kadioglu as goal did come following post which been hit by Michy Batshuayi. With 2 more coming from Batshuayi and Joshua King later on half, has led team to get an important win. Galatasaray has got crucial win against Istanbulspor thanks to the Mauro Icardi two goals at the end of the both halves, and are not being only 2 wins away from league title regardless how Fenerbahce plays in this period.

It needs to be mentioned that Galatasaray didnt necessarily provide very good performance in the front and to some extend has provided its focus into midfielding and defence area to prevent Istanbulspor to create some chances which it did achieve for most amount of the time. It needs to be mentioned that few weeks ago Galatasaray did lose crucial points due of counter-attacks despite of good performance of attackers, so with team focussed more into getting points and clinch title as early as it can, such focus into defence could be highly understandable and even through it could recieve some criticism, it does get its results. Galatasaray hence has got an important win and could even clinch title as early as 20th May if Fenerbahce does lose points against Trabzonspor and it wins Sivasspor.

Fenerbahce task is to win games including against Trabzonspor

Fenerbahce would be coming out to very important to one of its main arch-rivals Trabzonspor as it would be needed to get win if it wants to keep its title chance alive and also have next week which it wont play in more calmer sense.

Regardless, how chances would be reduced for its road to title, contenders would always need to keep game at top level and seek for win as Fenerbahce could get title if Galatasaray unexpectedly did lose points in upcoming 2 weeks. Galatasaray makes crucial step for title with beating Istanbulspor

Galatasaray makes an important step for league title as it has managed to beat Istanbulspor with 2:0 scoreline thanks to 2 goals from Mauro Icardi at the end of the both halves which now means that team would need to win upcoming 2 games to get title.

Galatasaray it needs to be mentioned did actually very good game especially during 1st half as it did lose tempo and creativity at the front but this could be seen normal as team needs to get win regardless how it manages to do so. Even through Galatasaray didnt necessarily did get too much control and dominance of the game, it didnt allow Istanbulspor to also get control of the game even through there were some moments when it did create some very good chances and could have scored goal. Fenerbahce player Bright-Osayi Samuel has become injured.

Fenerbahce has got unwanted news prior to game against Trabzonspor as Bright-Osayi Samuel has become injured during today's training session but this not affect much into gaming plan as he didnt get much playing time in recent weeks.

As Fenerbahce are entering to last weeks of this season and still have small but possible chance for league title, it would be seeing this development without isuse as bad news especially taking account how much Jorge Jesus tends to rotate with his team for each game. As been noted, Galatasaray would need to win upcoming 3 games with securing before derby game regardless how Fenerbahce plays its game and this without doubt would provide extra motivation and confidence rather than stress.As Basaksehirspor game shows, Galatasaray tactically can win games when needed even things are not going well even through games prior to that does provide some hope to both Istanbulspor and Fenerbahce to some extend. Istanbulspor did find themselves outside of relegation zone and even through didnt yet secure it are close to do so and hence could be felt relaxed. Galatasaray will not sell Nicolo Zaniolo for less than 25 million euro.

With lots of clubs, especially from Italy are showing an interest to transfer Galatasaray player Nicolo Zaniolo, it is reported that Istanbul giant would not be considering to sell player for less than 25 million euro.

It needs to be mentioned that when Galatasaray did sign Nicolo Zaniolo during mid-season transfer window it was aimed among using his quality with help to get title in the end of the season, is also making an important money from his transfer to another club during upcoming summer transfer window. It needs to be stated that Zaniolo is being seen as potential player and almost most of Italian clubs are showing interest to sign him so it would be awaiting for one of the clubs to sign him in this period.

Adana Demirspor are interested to sign Fenerbahce player Serdar Dursun as it is reported that Fenerbahce are considering to sell its player during summer transfer window as he doesnt recieve lots of playimg time.

As been noted on our previous blog entry, Serdar Dursun is actually being a good player which is capable to show top level performance but since there is more experienced and skillful players at Fenerbahce he doesnt recieve lots of playing time. This without doubt does provide lots of interest from other mediocre Super League sides towards Serdar Dursun and one of them is being Adana Demirspor which provides some impressive performance in previous 2 seasons and aims to continue to do so. Hence, it would be expected that it would have strong interest to him during summer transfer window.

Galatasaray are reported to be interested to transfer Sevilla player Alex Telles during summer transfer as player has been playing at the club some years ago with providing some very good performance.

Fatih Karagumruk and Adana Demirspor game will be played at Vodafone Park.

TFF has announced that Super League 34th week game between Fatih Karagumruk and Adana Demirspor would be played at Vodafone Park which belong to Besiktas due of preparations for Champions League final on 10th June at Ataturk Olympic Stadium.

With preparation for Champions League final game at Ataturk Olympic Stadium, TFF did announce earlier that games would not be played and with Fatih Karagumruk being side without stadium, it did play its home games in that stadium. The team has been agreed to play Adana Demirspor at Besiktas home ground Vodafone Park and hence does provide view that reason why it has refused to Istanbulspor to play they game against Galatasaray due of fact that it didnt want to give its home ground to one its arch rivals earlier this week, as Istanbulspor did announce that it didnt make deal with them.

It needs to be mentioned that with 5 weeks left until end of the season, this teams would be looking for new ground at each home ground in this period.

Fenerbahce signs Irfan Can Egribat.

Fenerbahce has used transfer option with Goztepe player Irfan Can Egribat for 1,200,000 euro as player did fulfill role of Altay Bayindir in recent weeks with providing some good performance.
