Orkun Kocuk has chosen Turkey for international team.
18-year old Feyenoord player Orkun Kocuk, who also have Dutch passaport, has announced today that he would be playing for Turkish National Team from now on due of feeling more Turkish.
This is without doubt has been a good news as Orkun Kocuk is expected to become a very good player and during past transfer windows has always recieved high amount of interest from number of Turkish clubs, including top ones. Even through as player he has also spend his career at Holland and also has been born there, as most diasporas he has strong feelings to his origin country and hence it should be seen as quite natural to choose Turkey to participate as national team. With Turkish National Team in general going through changes at squad towards younger players it would be expected that he would be selected to national team for Euro 2020 qualifers but he needs to convince of course head coach Senol Gunes.
Overall, its been good news for Turkish National Team as Orkun Kocuk has strong potential as player.
Westerlo has loaned Fenerbahce player Berke Ozer.
Westerlo has loaned Fenerbahce player Berke Ozer as club would need to reduce number of players due of FFP regulations which has been announced yesterday from UEFA.
Belgian side which does compete at top league and is seen as mediocre side would also be able to be good place for Ozer to develop as player and comeback to Fenerbahce if it would be case with stronger developed players. In fact, this loan period could be seen as one of the loans which defines why loan system has been put into effect. As it is known,original idea of loan is to provide some playing time at the club where he can recieve compare to its own club, system which has been used mainly by younger players at the squad. Therefore such an option as been mentioned would be great option for Berke Ozer and also to Fenerbahce.
It would be expected that Berke Ozer would develop into better player even through he is arleady player with high expectations without doubt.
Trabzonspor interested with Mario Gomez.
One of the most discussed and eye-catching transfer rumours has been that Trabzonspor are interested to transfer Stuttgart player Mario Gomez.
Despite of being 34-year old player Mario Gomez even through not in that level which was beforehand and also during Besiktas stay some time ago, he is still can provide great performance and found some number of goals during season which does provide an important transfer. Also, it was stated that Trabzonspor does have number of younger player which is great investment but it does need some experienced players. It does have right now, Obi Mikel and with Mario Gomez joining team it could be another addition who could provide an experience to the younger players and also has an advantage at Super League. This transfer if does happen would be very important addition.
