What happened in Turkish football today? 13/07/2019

Trabzonspor has send complaint to CAS against UEFA.

Trabzonspor has filed complaint towards UEFA for decision to get 50% share of their profit from Europa League competition during next season due of team not fully following FFP requirements towards CAS.

Even through Trabzonspor CEO Ahmet Agaoglu and other administrators has stated when decision has been announced that it has made good deal with UEFA and didnt recieve ban from competition, it became clear that it was unsatisfied with 50% share clause. Factor that it took also around week for Trabzonspor to file this complaint does show that it did some research prior to this issue. Taking account with circumstance, UEFA has provided lots of right exception in its punishment, it still could be seen difficult for Trabzonspor to get their complaint won but it is still worth a shot in the perspective of team. Time would show what deal would be made by CAS at the end of course.

This case might take some time and is likely not to be finalised until start of Europa League group stage and Trabzonspor does have some chance to win this complaint.

Fenerbahce has loaned Garry Rodrigues for 2 years.

Fenerbahce has officially signed loan deal with Al Ittihad and also ex-Galatasaray player Garry Rodrigues for 2 years without any fee and with an option for transfer.

As it would been remembered Rodrigues did manage to provide some high level performance at Galatasaray and with taking account that Fenerbahce did have some issues at this area of the field in recent seasons, this could be seen as good transfer as long as Rodrigues would be able to provide some good performance at his new club. Rodrigues would be able to provide high level performance at the team with high hope as he would need also get adapted to the Super League. Meanwhile, it is known that high amount of Galatasaray are unhappy with Rodrigues to move to their arch rivals and has shown protest to player at various way.

This would be good opportunity for Rodrigues to show himself once again to Turkey and would be aiming to show good performance at Fenerbahce.

Ankaragucu are interested to transfer Galatasaray player Omer Bayram

Ankaragucu are showing an interest towards Galatasaray player Omer Bayram who wasnt really planned at team plans for upcoming season but would provide big help for Ankaragucu.

With capital site as expected having much more moderate aims for next season than Galatasaray in understanable manner and also knowing level of performance of Omer Bayram with due of all respect, would mean that he would mean more comfortable. In similar manner as Mujdat Gezer, which was discussed about on previous blog entry. Bayram is uncapable to fill level of performance expected by him at Galatasaray, and hence it would provide damage both to him and club and hence its much smarter decision for him to move to team where he would fill more comfortable.

Ankaragucu for sure would be able to use assistance of Omer Bayram as he would be able more confident to show his skills at team.
