Galatasaray wins Turkish Cup against Akhisarspor and now would aim for league title.
Galatasaray has managed to beat Akhisarspor during Turkish Cup Final game against Akhisarspor with 3:1 scoreline which ended up being pretty exciting game with high amount of drama with heat especially rising during game after 2nd penalty decision due of protests by Akhisarspor.
It needs to be stated that Turkish Cup Final game did start with high tempo and motivation with both chances looking for high amount of the chances but in same time it is hard to state that Galatasaray did have good start without providing too much chances and not going much into attack and allowing Akhisarspor to control game. In fact the game has been going like that until 2nd penalty decision which has led for Akhisarspor to lose control of the game and in return also has affected to high motivation for Istanbul side and has showing much more attacking game during last 30 minutes. Therefore, it needs to be stated that Galatasaray didnt provide great performance but after conceding goal it has shown good response and start looking for chances and has shown its superiority over its opponents. Therefore, its hard to state that Galatasaray has deserved to win this game when looking at overall performance but it has shown strong performance and superiority in last 30 minutes of the game. Still, it needs to be admitted that Galatasaray did show right reaction after conceding goal from Manu goal and has also calmness after tension has been raised after penalty decision which led for Akhisarspor to provide high amount of protests.
Akhisarspor it needs to be noted has started game at right motivation and has shown that it was highly concentrated for game as been expected and has created some chances during 1st half without raising too much tempo as it was aware that it does that it would lose control of the game. In fact, until 2nd penalty kick Akhisarspor has been inside the game and has provided right control and motivation of the game without doubt. Kasimpasa head coach Mustafa Denizli has resigned from his post.
Kasimpasa head coach Mustafa Denizli has resigned from his position with 2 weeks left until end of the season, as he wasnt able to provide good result with his current team as it did enter to 2nd half of the season with high chances of finishing league at least top 5 position.
After selling its player Mbiaye Diagne, Kasimpasa didnt manage to solve its goal issue and has provided very poor performance including having long period of losing games and without doubt main reason for this downside and uncapable of finding solution would be given to its head coach, Mustafa Denizli. Therefore, it was reasonable for him to resign from his post. However, their might be questions arise why he has resigned with 2 weeks left until end of the season taking account that club didnt have much aims during this period. As it is known, Denizli had lots of stressful games while he was coaching team and this has affected negatively to his health which could be also among main reason for him leaving team. Meanwhile, Kasimpasa quite naturally would now work with assistant coaches until end of the season and find start for his replacement during summer period.
Mustafa Denizli did come to Kasimpasa to keep its league title chances arrive as during mid-season break mathematically it was quite possibly but he wasnt able to get performance from team which would bring this kind of result.
Goztepe doesnt understand why teams at relegation zone kick-off times are not at same time.
Goztepe has made its disbelief and also annoyance for TFF not changing kick-off times at Super League 33rd week game for race to stay at the league into same time not understanding why such action has been stated.
Goztepe in their statement, rightfully so, has stated that during last 10 years during this period of time teams who were playing for relegation were starting at same time during 33rd week and also similar tactics is being done at leading European leagues. TFF obviously will not change kick-off time after this, but it needs to provide legitimate statement for such decision so questions of this matter would be close once for all.
Goztepe request as been stated is legitimate and is being fair to all sides who are at relegation zone, and not playing at same time does provide damage actually to football game and tension.
