Besiktas needs to stay focussed for last 2 games.
Besiktas has managed to win against Alanyaspor and keep its small chances for league title arrive as it has got win with 2:1 scoreline but it needs to be noted that team didnt provide very good performance during game.
Besiktas main aim was to get leading score as it has started game at the fast tempo and has been looked for number of the chances but when it has scored goal on 11th minute it has started providing much more slower and controllable game which continued and to some extend lead for a team to concede goal from an own goal from Caner Erkin. With conceding goal it has started looking for goals once again with great goal from Ricardo Quaresma but after that it once again has reduced tempo of the game and could even draw game if it wasnt thanks to the Lorius Karius important saves during end of the game. This performance without doubt has been affected to some extend with result of derby game last week which has led Besiktas chances for league title less but with playing against Trabzonspor before Galatasaray and Basaksehirspor as a team it now needs to focus into getting winning result as their is possibility that other game would end with draw, in addition Besiktas still has realistic chances to end season at 2nd place.
Therefore, it is important for Besiktas to stay focussed for last 2 games with tough one coming this week against Trabzonspor as it would help team to have chance to end season at Champions League spot.
Galatasaray would aim for double but playing two final games at week could be tiring.
Galatasaray have a realistic chances to get two titles in duration of one week as it would be playing against Akhisarspor at Turkish Cup final on 15th May and would later have another final game against Basaksehirspor on 19th May.
It would be also interesting to see how Galatasaray would be preparing for Turkish Cup final game and with what squad it would be coming out against Akhisarspor as both teams are surely very important but to some extend Super League title would be more willing for them. It is true that Galatasaray are aiming for double right now and to achieve that it is 90 minutes behind during both games, but in same time it is difficult to play tough games like that in duration of one week and quite possibily Fatih Terim even through would love to have Turkish Cup and would motivate players to do their best to win it, he might come out with more alternative squad compare to Super League to keep main players fresh for 19th May and also reduce risk of key players to get injured and this by itself could lead to much more calmer performance.
Galatasaray would be coming to Turkish Cup as favourites but Super League game later during this week could have some negative impact towards focus at the Turkish Cup game likely.
Akhisarspor full focus is given to Turkish Cup final game.
Compare to Galatasaray, Akhisarspor which been relegated from Super League after loss to Fenerbahce, are providing all its focus towards Turkish Cup final game against Galatasaray and hence slight advantage mentally.
Akhisarspor also without doubt would be aiming to get Turkish Cup back-to-back for 2nd season, and more crucially to end poor season where it was relegated from Super League with Turkish Cup and also with Europa League spot back-to-back. This motivational boost and concentration towards Turkish Cup and as been stated not much focus towards other things could lead team to prepare game at right manner. But as been stated in quality manner, Galatasaray are in much better conditions but once again it has managed to beat their opponents during last season at semi-final and hence it can happen if it provides right concentration towards game. But it needs to be remembered that last season Akhisarspor are at better condition and hence are not as strong, but with this being only 90 minutes it can show some surprise for sure.
Akhisarspor would be aiming to provide some surprising result but it needs to show great game and use an advantage of Galatasaray also focussing into other game later this week.
