Giuliano penaly goal brought an important win at difficult away Bursaspor game.
Fenerbahce has managed to win against Bursaspor with 1:0 scoreline during Super League 15th week game with Giuliano at the game which ended up being pretty difficult to them as expected. Even through Fenerbahce has failed to get into same tempo as it did last week against Kasimpasa it has controlled game for most part of the time.
There was expectation that Fenerbahce would have pretty difficult time against Bursaspor and this has turned out to be like that and even through it did have possession it did have trouble to create high number of the chances with Bursaspor providing controllable defence as with Fenerbahce also being careful with defence. Konyaspor did improve from last season of Europa League but so far its performance at Super League been poor.
Konyaspor did in fact show a good improvement at the Europa League during this season compare to previous season despite of not getting to the last 32 stage all this year but did gain extra 5 points including win against Vitoria earlier during this competition.
In fact, Konyaspor were close to have extra 4 points but own goals by Mehdi and Ali Turan during last 2 games against Olympique Marseille and Viitoria, both coming towards ends of the game has prevented Konyaspor as Marseille has ended group stage 3 points ahead of them at the 2nd place. Meanwhile, 3 Konyaspor administrators has announced today that their had resigned from their positions due of poor results given by a team even through it is not clear if this included by Europa League performance also or solely for poor season team has at the Super League. Konyaspor did show two different performances at the Europa League and Super League and it is confident to state that team has got reasonable lessons and experience from Europa League without doubt.
Right now, Konyaspor has chance to focus entirely to the Super League and aim to start improving its results which it got recently as it has played in same time at Europa League.
Basaksehirspor has shown some good football towards end of group stage but it wasnt enough for last 32.
Basaksehirspor as been stated at our blog yesterday has shown an improvement with its performance at the last few games at the Europa League but with losing points in the start of the group stage mainly due of inexperience and feeling possibly pressure has cost them last 32 spot.
In fact, it didnt get to the last 32 spot with only goal which has been scored by Ludogorets player Welliton to Hoffenheim which has led them draw and end group stage with 1 point ahead of Basaksehirspor as in same points their would get through. In fact, it is specifically dissapointed that Basaksehirspor has lost its spot towards team which it has won and drawn during group stage. Basaksehirspor did take game in fact at serious note against Braga and did provide good performance especially during 1st half and for most amount of time with live standings referance has been taken 2nd place team until Ludogorets goal. Still, this season at Europe has been very useful for
Basaksehirspor and would them feel more comfortable for next season when it would be able again at Europe and being currently league leaders their can aim for Champions League once again.
Basaksehirspor without doubt would provide main focus towards Super League and plan to enter mid-season break with keeping their league leaders spot in the standings.
