Galatasaray has shown great comeback against Akhisarspor in 2nd half.
Galatasaray has managed to show memorable comeback during 2nd half against Akhisarspor during Super League 15th week game after losing 1st half with 2:0 scoreline and has shown a great character of the team.
It does need to be stated that Galatasaray didnt start game in good manner and has been seen to be mentally affected which it loss against Besiktas during last week and also start feeling pressure for its league title race from other clubs. In fact, if it did lose game it would not only find itself behind Basaksehirspor but also get same points with Fenerbahce and possibly with Besiktas. Therefore, it was necessarily for Galatasaray to show great character and willing to win game during 2nd half and it just achieved that providing fast and attacking football giving their all to win game. Only negative thing which could be seen is red card recieved for Bafetembi Gomis in pretty unneccesarily position which would mean it would be without its main goalscorer in upcoming weeks. Meanwhile, Galatasaray has shown great character which it needs and this comeback certainly would provide great motivation boost for upcoming last 2 games at 1st half as it plans to enter to mid-season break as leaders.
Akhisarspor has provided careful start of the game without allowing Galatasaray to get dangerous chances and has used its chances very effectively even through it didnt manage to create chances a lot. Without doubt red card of Miguel Lopes has affected tactically to the team and also their coach Okan Buruk being send to the stands at 2nd half didnt allow to have direct effect into his players especially after Gomis red card. Without Miguel Lopes Akhisarspor did have trouble at playing creating game at attack.
Galatasaray has regained its leadership once again at least for 1st half and has gained confidence and motivation boost but without doubt with fight for top spot getting more intense one mistake could provide them issues in upcoming games.
Trabzonspor carries on finding goals with Riza Calimbay.
Trabzonspor carries on its great performance with its head coach Riza Calimbay as it has won 4th game back-to-back this time against Kasimpasa with comfortable scoreline of 3:0 and does keep itself at the league title race even through compare to other big teams its still bit outside of that race.
Kasimpasa could become a trouble for Trabzonspor during this game as it does have good season and has its own aims even through it did lose its high level performance in recent weeks still it could provide some trouble time. In fact, Trabzonspor did have trouble at finding good chances but as game progressed and game towards end Trabzonspor started playing more attacking game which explains why it has found 2 goals at the last minute of the game. What has been gained for most of the Trabzonspor is that it start playing attacking focussed games which leads at finding goals, one of the areas which has been lacking prior to Riza Calimbay joining team. Burak Yilmaz has found 1st goal of the game which keeps among strongest contenders to become most goalscorer player at the end of the season. Trabzonspor are playing very effective game and would be aiming to get wins during last 2 games of 1st half.
Kasimpasa even through did provide defensive style game which it has succeeded more or less for most time of the game didnt provide any performance at attacking front which by itself has led them to lose game and right now team to regain its motivation which it has lost during last 2 games.
Trabzonspor even through keeps itself outside of title race a bit, it would be able to get there if it carries on this performance as Fenerbahce has proven and only issue for Trabzonspor that it has lost more points compare to Fenerbahce in early stage of season.
Fenerbahce seems to solve its defensive issue.
Fenerbahce does seem to solve its defensive issue as it could be seen from Super League 15th week game against Bursaspor as it had only allowed 2 dangerous attacks for Bursaspor and has won game with Giuliano penalty.
In fact the whole game has been concentrated with both sides providing defensive game not allowing opponents to finding chances but it needs to state that in overall Fenerbahce has shown better performance especially finding goal during penalty. Still, Bursaspor strong and concentrated defence should be praised as it managed to prevent Fenerbahce to get high number of chances. To some extend, Fenerbahce still has trouble to show same level of performance as it did at home in last 2 games, but one of its big issues has been defence and it seems to solve that as it didnt concede goals both from Bursaspor and Antalyaspor during away games. Fenerbahce does show signs that it would carry on improving and very likely to find itself at the title race even more confidently with this performance and playing its game 1st this week has put pressure towards its opponents.
Fenerbahce would now look forward for last 2 games of 1st half of the season against Karabukspor and Konyaspor where it does look to be favourite and it does have chance even to end 1st half as leaders even through its not simple task.
