Trabzonspor lacked concentration against Alanyaspor

Trabzonspor got unexpected loss against Alanyaspor with 3:1 scoreline and even through it didnt necessarily very poor performance, it did look like team was lacking some serious concentration which was specifically visible with 2nd conceded goal.

With fight for 3rd spot at the league is getting heated up right now as we enter to last 10 weeks, Trabzonspor did lose very important opportunity to get there with point difference as Besiktas lost to Galatasaray. One of the factors at Trabzonspor has been loss of concentration as it didnt get much into game for 90 minutes and Stefano Denswill literally switching off when recieving pass from Ogurcan Cakir which led opponent to score to empty goal is being great example of this. 

Trabzonspor still needs to do a lot for rest of the season and hence it needs to be stayed focussed for rest of the season and this has been an important lesson for them.

Besiktas want for VAR talks of ungiven penalty to make public.

Besiktas has requested from TFF to make it public conversations between VAR and referees regarding why main referee Halil Umut Meler hasnt been called to VAR monitor at Cenk Tosun and Derrick Kohn stating that there must be made reason what happened there.

Following position is being uncertain and hence Besiktas migth have valuable reason to call for this season as such position does deserve to have at least some viewing for referees as it did look like penalty. As it is remembered during previous season 2 games there was announcement of VAR conversations and this has led for teams to be calling for VAR recordings to be publised and we are seeing similar factor from Besiktas request as this does turn around from clubs.

Even through Besiktas has right to demand such request due of uncertainty of position, TFF would need to decline as this turns out to become wrong habit which goes against VAR idea.

Halil Umut Meler been appointed for Milan and Slavia Prague game

Once again UEFA seems to be appointing Turkish referees which been criticised at home ground to important European games as this time Halil Umut Meler been appointed for Europa League game between Milan and Slavia Prague.

This appointment is also being pretty important as it is being first appointment from UEFA to Halil Umut Meler since incident at Ankaragucu and as there were conversations that incident might have negative impact to Umer, UEFA doesnt seem to be case as it is being one of the key games at Europa League. This could be also good opportunity of Halil Umut Meler with successful refereeing at game that he is being good condition as referee right now and able to show top level performance.

Therefore, UEFA has shown trust to Halil Umut Meler despite of criticism at home and now he would need to show strong performance and stable game for sure.
