Fenerbahce did get crucial win against Hatayspor with 1st half goals.
Fenerbahce has got pretty confident win against Hatayspor with 2:0 scoreline as both goals did come on 1st half as it got one of the most calm wins in recent weeks and raised for leadership for at least 24 hours as Galatasaray will play against Besiktas.
It needs to be mentioned that win for Fenerbahce among finding goals did come out during 1st half as it did reduce tempo during 2nd half which could be due of Conference League against Royale Union but when looking into 1st half it should be stated that Fenerbahce did come out for win with finding lots of chances and providing good attacking game as it did create lots of chances prior to finding an openning goal with Bright Osayi Samuel and later with providing top game during 2n d half with Cengiz Under great goal once again. Fenerbahce didnt necessarily show good game in 2nd half but it didnt concede goal during that period and did get what it aimed for with focussed and organised game which it did lack in recent weeks.
Hatayspor which did struggle on recent weeks at the league has also failed to show very good performamnce especially during 1st half as it didnt provide much resistance to opponent attacking game and didnt show much attacking game but in 2nd half it did raise tempo but did lacking final touches.
Fenerbahce did come out as always at the game which it needed to win in such intense title race and it has achieved that with providing pressure to Galatasaray before derby game.
Galatasaray looks to be favourite but its not that simple against Besiktas
Even through leaders of the league Galatasaray would come out as clear favourites against Besiktas, it needs to be mentioned that team is being at decline with being relegated from Europa League and Turkish Cup in duration of 1 week.
Despite of that decline, Galatasaray does continues its unbeating run at the league during this calendar year and does manage to get result at the end of the game even if the game didnt go well. Stating that, it also need to be mentioned that Galatasaray are being motivated for title race so this motivational boost could be even larger than Besiktas. It also needs to be mentioned that Galatasaray doesnt get very good performance at the Besiktas stadium in recent years so this also help side to be fighting for win but in same time it could provide pressure and hence this could play an important role and it needs to be mentioned that recent weeks Besiktas are not showing bad performance in recent weeks.
Galatasaray does look to be favourite on first glance but without doubt it would need to give its best game if it wants to get an important win.
Besiktas has some advantages against Galatasaray
Besiktas does look to be finding itself right now very far from title race and are fighting for 3rd spot and hence it could be noted that it being far from title race but there are some areas which does put them favourite against Galatasaray.
Besiktas it needs to be mentioned doesnt provide tempo which supporters are expecting for 90 minutes and being especially poor game during 1st half in recent games but it needs to be stated that it has pretty strong defensive game in recent weeks without conceding any goals for 4-5 games which could play an important role with this derby game and provide pressure to Galatasaray. Another factor that Besiktas didnt lose at home for Galatasaray for 8 years which would provide confidence and motivation both to players and home supporters and hence if it would use this factor into advantage it could get some good chances.
Hence on paper, Besiktas as been noted could be seen as underdogs but there are some aspects at the game which it could use as an advantage in this derby game.
