2 Bundesliga clubs interested with Arda Guler

Interests towards Arda Guler continues to be growing as 2 Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are showing interests towards player.

With Arda Guler not recieving much playing time so far at Real Madrid it quite natural for those 2 clubs showing interests towards him and it would be expected that way for him to convince for him to join them with argument that he would recieve more playing time. It is however known that Guler is being happy at Real Madrid and believes he would recieve some playing time in the future and hence it would not be expected for him to be interested much.

There might be some attempts for many clubs to sign or loan Arda Guler this summer and as always we would follow all developments.

Napoli has made deal with Victor Nelsson.

Napoli are reported to be making transfer deal with Galatasaray player Victor Nelsson as player does consider to leave team during upcoming summer transfer window while his club is not expected to make issues.

Even through Nelsson does provide a key role at the defence place at the team and does play an important role in the title race, it was known that player has been considering to leave club as he was close to move to Sevilla during mid-season transfer window.Hence, if Napoli would start transfer negotiations with Galatasaray it would be expected for it to go without much issues as long as it does provide good offer to the team. 

Hence, as been noted it does look like Napoli would provide offer to Galatasaray for Nelsson and deal could be made in short period of time. 

Besiktas has started transfer negotiations with Steven Berghuis.

Besiktas has started transfer negotiations with Ajax player Steven Berghuis as it is being one of the main candidates during upcoming summer transfer window as he is respected to be taking place of Rachid Ghezzal.

Besiktas has been showing interests towards Berghuis from previous summer transfer window as it is clear that Fernando Santos is having good interests with Berghuis. Fenerbahce CEO Ali Koc states there would be some drastic decisions to be made on 2nd April.

Fenerbahce CEO Ali Koc has once again made statement regarding of actions which club could be made following events which took place during Trabzonspor game and has stated that some drastic actions has been made.

It is known that Fenerbahce administrators are currently discussing about possible actions which could be made with decision to relegate themselves to lower league is not being supported by many but there also other decisions such as to boycot Trabzonspor game, come out to game with academy squads among many. Fenerbahce CEO Ali Koc did state that some drastic changes much be made as issues has been build up in last 2-years and events Trabzonspor during game does show into seriousness which there is right now. Hence, it could be noted that some serious actions would be made on 2nd April as there is strong discussion what would their be.

Hence, there is wait for general administrative meeting on 2nd April as there would be some drastic decisions to be made but it doesnt look to be putting side outside of Super League.

Clubs Union has decided to keep Ali Koc as union CEO.

Meanwhile, Clubs Union as whole and specifically Samsunspor CEO Yuksel Yildirim has stated that Ali Koc would be staying as Union CEO for another season as team didnt find any other alternative.

With voting regarding this issue has been done by 17 clubs out of 20, it has been decided that Ali Koc would be best represenative and also it is pleasant that union quite understandably didnt want to go for another election in this period. As long as Fenerbahce CEO Ali Koc does decide to run for CEO election in his club there is no issue for that so it still looks like final decision would be made regarding this issue by Ali Koc in upcoming days.

Still, TFF does have strong support towards Ali Koc without doubt as it aims to keep togetherness in such crucial periods at Turkish football.

Club's Union also discussed about inclusion of foreign referees to Super League.

Another subject area which has been taken place at Club's Union has been discussion of foreign referees as it does look like that many clubs are going towards this demand as there are not happy with performance of Turkish referees.

It needs to be mentioned that performance of Turkish referees has reached its peaked during this season in negative manner as many are unhappy how their performing at among VAR. Even through it does look to be an issue without doubt at system so it is questienible if bringing foreign referees would be right decision to be made without doubt. Still, there is strong pressure to appoint foreign referees and it would be interesting to see how TFF would respond to such strong demands.

As been noted, it is questionable if foreign referees would be decision but it could be tried by TFF to at least reduce tension at Turkish football for short while but still find way to make feel Turkish referees to be not outcasted.

Lessons were provided to Turkey, now its important to work on them prior to Euro 2024.

Turkish National Team has completed this international team break with two losses at friendly games against Hungary and Austria, both games been played at away. Without doubt, after losing this 2 games, Turkey has good opportunity to go through its weaknesses prior to Euro 2024.

It does need to be mentioned that main aims of friendly games is to test current condition and capacity of the team and hence losing during friendlies could be providing more help if reaction of the teams would be done correctly. It does need to be mentioned that Vincenzo Montella quite logically did focus into some changes of starting 11 to test its players and this results does provide that both with capacity of the players and tactically it did have some absences which especially became clear during Austria game. Montella without doubt would need to focus into defensive and attacking game and also work on ideal starting 11 for Euro 2024.

This two losses, especially against Austria, provided food for thought prior to Euro 2024 and now its important to find solutions of this by Montella.

Broadcaster didnt accept kick-off time of 15:00 from Sivasspor.

Sivasspor has announced that TFF did accept for Super League 31st week game against Fatih Karagumruk kick off time to be changed from 17:00 to 15:00 but broadcaster didnt accept it.

It needs to be mentioned that decision of Sivasspor to change time is that break of fast on the day of the game would be taking place on 19:08, around 8 minutes after final whistle of the game and hence would not be compatible with many people and hence requested for time to be changed. However, broadcaster which very likely has found kick-off time to be too early didnt accept this request and hence it does look  like game would be played at earlier advertised time.

Meanwhile, this event does show effect which broadcaster has towards timing time even through playing at 15:00 at weekday is being too early.

Fenerbahce will be at Champions League next season even if it would be relegated

Fenerbahce administrator Fethi Peker, responsible with law issues of the team, has stated that club could get Champions League ticket for next season even if team will not come out in upcoming games and would be relegated to lower league.

Due of point difference with 3rd spot Trabzonspor being 30 points and with 8 games left of the season it is clear that 2nd spot has been secured for team,it means that team would complete in that spot and be qualified to Champions League, possibly 1st team ever to be in tournament from lower league. This statement also shows that club are considering seriously not to come out to the games for rest of the season.

As it is known there would be administrative meeting on 2nd April which would discuss about actions which needs to be done and even through it is unclear what would be decision be it is for sure to be drastic one.

 Turkish National Team needs to learn lessons from loss to Austria.

Turkish National Team had a dissapointing performance against Austria and did show that it does have some serious issues prior to Euro 2024 which it needs to be improved and it would be needed to mention that timing has been perfect.

Even through there is no need to be too harsh towards national team as this is being friendly game which sole aim is to identify issues which team has and find solutions, in long term this result might even have more positive impact than it would to Austria prior to Euro 2024. What would be important is for Vincenzo Montella to start looking for those solutions which has been without doubt defensive performance of the team, getting tired and demotivated in the start of the 2nd half and also an issue with attackers converting chances. Vincenzo Montella does have chance to find solutions of this issue both tactically, selection of players and also reaching maximum performance of its players prior to kick-off of Euro 2024. 

Therefore, this loss towards 6:1 scoreline could be seen as good opportunity to recognise issues which team has prior to Euro 2024 and aim to solve them.

Georgia is more tougher than it seems to be in first glance.

With beating Greece at Euro 2024 qualifier play-off round final game through penalties, Georgia has become last team to be joining Group F where Turkey is also located at.

In first glance, it might be seen as good news that it is being Georgia over Greece, but it needs to be mentioned that Georgia as team has been improving in recent weeks and continues to do so mainly help of having its own superstar Kvasha. Turkey has got unexpected humiliating loss to Austria.

Turkish National Team without doubt has got unexpected humiliating loss against Austria with 6:1 scoreline without providing much upper hand against fellow Euro 2024 side with only positive factor that this is being friendly game and gives opportunity to identify weaksides of the team.

It needs to be mentioned that Turkey did come out to the team with lots of changes at starting 11 and did play some players who dont get lots of playing time and hence this has provided for Vincenzo Montella to check alternative squad and sadly for Turkey it needs to be mentioned that this starting 11 didnt provide much hope and it does look like this would be main focus for Montella at finding solution to this until Euro 2024 starts. It needs to be mentioned as scoreline suggests Austria did provide an effective attacking game on the field to which Turkey did have some serious aspect to be showing reaction towards do and hence did provide weakest defensive game since Vincenzo Montella has joined team. To some extend also conceding goal on early minutes did also has negative effect even if Hakan Calhanoglu did find penalty goal on 24th minute to equaliser scoreline.

Austria meanwhile very likely did get easier win than it is expected but compare to Turkey they did show much more focus to game and hence got confident scoreline of 6:1 and showed lots of optimism for Euro 2024.

As been mentioned, Turkey needs to be remembered that this is being friendly game and hence it did get an opportunity to get all its weaknesses in hard way and now would need to look how to solve those issues with Montella taking leadership.

Fenerbahce sends request to postpone Super League game against Fatih Karagumruk.

Fenerbahce considers to send request to TFF for postponing 32nd week Super League game against Fatih Karagumruk due of it being between Conference League game tie against Olympiakos.

Fenerbahce as it is known are having both aims to win Conference League and Super League and hence such action has been based upon that and hence this request if it would be able to get is being understandable and could without doubt provide time in that weekend to prepare for 2nd leg game. It would be interesting to see how TFF would respond to this request without doubt as it is been noted Fenerbahce would come out to very important games both in Super League and Conference League. It also needs to be reminded that Fenerbahce did attempt to postpone Turkish Super Cup which would be taking place in 7th April but has been declined.

Fenerbahce hence would be hoping that this request would be requested as it takes both tournament very importantly.

Galatasaray interested to loan Marcao from Sevilla.

One of the most interesting transfer rumours on today's Turkish football media has been rumours that Galatasaray would consider to loan its ex-player Marcao from Sevilla.

Being sold to Sevilla few years ago, Brazilan player is not recieving high amount of playing time and is been seen on sales list on upcoming summer transfer window and Galatasaray would see this as good opportunity to loan him for upcoming season as he did show pretty good and strong performance in Istanbul giants and in fact been main reason for joining Sevilla. This could be also good opportunity to get some playing time and show himself at the market so it would be expected that Marcao would be interested to join if negotiations between clubs will take place.

Turkey will aim to get into next level with game against Austria.

Turkish National Team will carry on this international friendly period with a game against Austria where it would be aiming to top performance which it has shown against Hungary with an aim to win game.

It needs to be stated as been mentioned at our blog since game has been played that Turkey did show very good performance against Hungary despite of losing game and now it would be aiming to provide even better performance and this time to get win. In similar manner, as with Hungary, opponent is also qualified to Euro 2024 and does show very good performance in recent years and hence it would be another game which Turkey would be able to test its skills for sure. It would be expected for Turkey to provide much more attacking game with Vincenzo Montella taking looking of level of its attacking game very likely.

This game would be once again a test game for both sides and hence focus would be into good performance rather than scoreline without doubt.

Juventus are interested to sign Baris Alper Yilmaz.

It is reported that Juventus is being interested with Galatasaray player Baris Alper Yilmaz who does show strong and effective performance in this season and hence should not be interested that such interest is given to the player.

With Lazio also showing an interest towards Yilmaz, it would need to be stated that Juventus would be more capable to convince Yilmaz and his club due of financial condition and also level of performance and this would be more important how much Juventus would like to transfer him and as been noted there is no reason why it would not show strong interest towards him.

Hajduk Split are having interest to transfer Besiktas player Ante Rebic which for sure would be seen as good news for his current team asit really wants to sell him in summer.

Turkey likely to play different tactical game against Austria.

Turkish National Team which has shown pretty impressive performance against Hungary during this international friendly games break would now focus into Austria where it would aim to improve even more and possibly get win.

Taking account into willingness of Turkey in the game against Hungary, there is lots of positive viewpoints into how team performed but one of the main reasons why it didnt find a goal in that game that it didnt play without attackers. Such tactical decision possibly should not be much criticised taking account its being friendly game and possibly Vincenzo Montella was aiming to focus into something else in that game but it needs to be mentioned that playing without attackers would be big mistake at Euro 2024. In fact, there is possibility that reason why Semih Kilicsoy has been send to youth team due of not aiming to use attackers.

Turkey did show good performance against Hungary but now it would be interesting to see how side would perform against Austria possibly with different tactical game.

Kayserispor player Majid Hosseini had an operation due of injury.

Kayserispor player Majid Hosseini did have an operation and would not be able to play for 2-3 weeks and would also likely have some totally recovery period as it would be important for team to find good replacement for him as last weeks of the season are coming up.

Majid Hosseini for sure needed this transfer and it would be expected for him to return as Kayserispor would be playing last week seasons which could also mean that team would still fight for survival when looking into table. Turkey did show some possible signs against Hungary

Despite of losing to Hungary during international friendly game, it needs to be mentioned that Turkey did actually provide some positive performance and has shown lots of promises for tournament in Germany.

It could be seen unusual for Turkish National Team to be praised while losing game but there are two reasons which could be related to this which is being friendly game and even more important that Turkey did actually show good performance for 60 minutes. Only issue which could be mentioned in Turkish National Team that quite possibly it did miss ideal itattacking player who could provide that final touch during game but again it did have pretty good opportunities to find goal and couldnt overpass goalkeeper. Turkey did look to be pretty organised so as did Hungary abd wutg raising tempo at the field and also be more creative in attack could lead for Turkey to show much more effective performance at attack during Euro 2024.

Therefore, Turkey and Hungary did provide pretty good organised and promising game and did show some positive signs for Euro 2024.

Ridvan Yilmaz has been taken out of squad due of injury.

Turkish National Team player Ridvan Yilmaz who has become injured during friendly game against Hungary has been taken out of squad which could be having some negative impact as Yilmaz expects to be taking an important place at Euro 2024.

Ridvan Yilmaz who did have unlucky injury during game against Hungary has been taken out of squad and hence will not be able to play against Austria and would now return to Besiktas where he would be taking recovery process and his situation with injury would be evaluated as team also fights for 3rd spot. Announcement of his injury would likely to be made in upcoming days.

Besiktas for sure would be hoping that injury is not being serious of player as player would need to focus for recovery process.

TFF has announced that Turkish Super Cup game would be taking place on 7th April as advertised as it couldnt find any alternative days for game to be played.

Fenerbahce has requested for game to be postponed due of Conference League quarter-final 1st leg away game against Olympiakos and in fact did suggest for game to be moved to May but due of difficult scheduling and also preparation of team to Euro 2024 it did have trouble to find alternative days. Another reason which been provided is that Galatasaray has been lacking to change date and did focus into playing on 7th April which also played its role.

Therefore, TFF has kept original date of 7th April as game will be played in Sanliurfa.

Turkey did show some good performance despite of losing to Hungary

Turkish National Team has lost to 1st friendly game prior to Euro 2024 against Hungary as it has conceded goal from Szobozslai in the start of the 1st half but it should be stated that it didnt provide too bad performance.

Despite of loss to Hungary at away game, it needs to be mentioned that Turkey did provide good organising game and did create some good chances and hence it should be stated that it did provide some positive performance and did get some good chances for now. It needs to be mentioned that Turkey did select teams with who it would be playing who would be able to provide good test and it could be noted that it has passed it even through it didnt get result. In fact, penalty which was given to them is being questionable as ball did come from head to hand and hence it could be noted that hand has been in natural position. It needs to be mentioned that Turkey did get some good control of the ball for most amount of the game and has shown good response after conceding as it did control game and get some chances only missing goal. 

As this game without doubt has been good test for Turkey, same could be said for Hungary which in their perspective also provide some good performance and has been mainly focussed into patient game as it is being its characteristic and it did that pretty well. In similar manner as Turkey, it could be mentioned that it did show some good signs with 3 months left until Euro 2024.

Besiktas has signed professional contract with its academy player Fahri Kerem Ay.

Besiktas continues to  invest to its youth players as it signed professional contract with its academy player Fahri Kerem Ay as the player does provide lots of potentiality in the team.

Taking account of performance of Semih Kilicsoy in this season, as player did come from club academy and also not very good on-going season it could be seen reasonable for teamm to provide more focus towards its youth players and it would be reasonable to expect that some of them could be recieving some playing time in the league for the preparating for upcoming season and it would be expected to see for some minutes Fahri Kerem Ay in upcoming games as it would be reasonable and smart action to do by head coach Fernando Santos.

Galatasaray will not accept postponement of Turkish Super Cup from 7th April

It became clear that Galatasaray will not accepted postponement for Turkish Super Cup against Fenerbahce which is scheduled on 7th April as Fenerbahce send request to change date of the game.

Due of Conference League game against Olympiakos on 10th April in Athens, Fenerbahce does consider to postpone Super Cup game to May but it is reported that even through Galatasaray CEO Dursun Ozbek didnt mind for this possibility, with talks with some of the administrators he is now considering not to accept any change of the date and for game to be played at Sanliurfa as he did provide date of 7th April in press conference other day.

It does look like conversation regarding when game would be played will be taking place in upcoming period and it would be interesting to see how it develops as game is schedule to be played after 2 weeks.

Hungary is being good test prior to Euro 2024.

Turkish National Team is going to play its first friendly game during this international team break against Hungary which is being a good opponent for themselves and would help them to test their strength prior to Euro 2024.

It needs to be mentioned that Hungary is being one of the teams which is being improving its football national team performance and did have some good performance at previous Euro's and with Turkey looking to make team which would bring them back into level which was shown last time at Euro 2004,it would be good opponent for them to check how they could be performing in such level. With lots of young players has been called who can potentially be selected to national team at Euro 2024, there would be good opportunity to check how they would perform against opponent like Hungary.

Hence, this game would be good opportunity for both sides to show some positive and strong performance prior to Euro 2024 and players hence would give good effort. 

Semih Kilicsoy and Ahmetcan Kaplan have move to youth side at Turkish National Team.

Turkish National Team players Semih Kilicsoy and Ahmetcan Kaplan has been send to under-21 side as team would be playing crucial game Euro qualifier against Georgia in that tier.

This decision could be however criticised as those 2 players does have potential to be selected for Euro 2024 and hence would lose an opportunity to get adapted more and show their skills too Vincenzo Montella at upcoming friendlies game, but in same time due of good performance in this period and also legitimacy they have been selected for very important qualifier game at lower level so this could be seen in both ways. TFF CEO Mehmet Buyukeksi has announced that Turkish Super Cup game between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce would be played on 7th April according to current case but it did recieve request to postpone date.

Sanliurfarspor CEO did announce that there is possibility that date of game would be moved to 6th April as there were some active talks but TFF CEO Mehmet Buyukeksi has stated that game would be played as scheduled on  7th April for now. Still, he did state that club did recieve a request from Fenerbahce to postpone date and federation would be going through that request and positivities. As it is known, TFF want to change date due of Conference League games against Olympiakos to be played  on 10th April.

Main provacateur arriving from Germany does raise some suspicious.

5 people were arrested following events which took place at Trabzonspor and Fenerbahce game with one of the supporters who believed to be starting all of the actions does provide some questions.

Been known as hooligan with mask due of wearing it when incidents did happen into the field did arrive to Trabzon from Germany which does raise some questions why he did arrive from outside country and if there is any organised events. With so many events happening at Turkish football season in  negative manner and all of the happening after Turkey has got right to host  Euro2032 with Italy does raise some questions without doubt. Coming to hooligan with mask, there was statement that he didnt enter to stadium for starting fight and only wanted to send players to changing room and that he was self-defending at that pose which been shown in picture. 

Therefore, this incident does raise lots of questions of the events which did take place at Trabzon and hopefully more answers and punishments would be done as investigation continues.

Blaming players into events is being distraction.

Since the event took place at Trabzonspor and Fenerbahce game, Trabzonspor administration and media tend to throw blame to Fenerbahce players who in their view has provacated action from supporters.

Foremost, it needs to be mentioned that Fenerbahce players did do some behaviour with hand moves and generally body language which could raise tension towards supporters but it would need to be mentioned that this is being common behaviour from players and therefore providing main reason would be wrong as events during game did show that things was going to that which hence does raise question why game hasnt been stopped. It could be argued that Fenerbahce players behaviour and gestures could be done more controlled or not done at all but it is clear that hooligan action would be present even if players didnt react at all.

Doing blame game towards players is being self-defence factor from Trabzonspor and would  prevent for actual people who did have such hooligan actions away for sure.

Abdulkerim Bardakci been called up to Turkish National Team

Galatasaray player Abdulkerim Bardakci has been called to Turkish National Team which shows that player looks to be fast recovering from his injury.

Foremost, it is important to remind that Bardakci has been one of the best defenders at Super League this season and if nothing unexpected happens would be certainly selected to Turkish National Team for Euro 2024. Hooligans wanted for chaos to take place.

Events which took place during Super League game between Trabzonspor and Fenerbahce with supporters attacking Fenerbahce players is not dominating Turkish sports world but also whole society.

According to Turkish Justice minister Yusuf Tunc investigation is going in pretty active manner with 12 people being taken into custody while 38 suspects has been identified by police. Even through Trabzonspor does tend to state that Fenerbahce players provacated events it needs to be mentioned that it is clear that number of hooligans at the game did go to the game with an intention to raise such activities as it could be seen from throwing items into field and also events. Sadly, Trabzonspor tries to defend itself and find excuses in the event where it shouldnt be to do and it does look for now at least that this investigation would be willing to provide punishments to all hooligans who were present at the field.

Whatever Fenerbahce players did, Trabzonspor hooligans had an aim to raise tension and chaos at the game and hence dont deserve any defence for themselves. 

PFDK needs to be fair and harsh with its decisions.

One of the questions would be how would TFF and PFDK act following such events and what kind of actions would be taken both to Trabzonspor due of behaviour of its fans and also Fenerbahce players who have beaten opponent supporters in aim to defend themselves.

Once again PFDK is once again does have difficult task at providing punishments according to an event and it needs to be pretty harsh. It needs to be mentioned that whatever would be fines and bans, Trabzonspor would be affected negatively from its supporters actions with recieving high number of supporters ban very likely until end of the season for sure. Coming from Fenerbahce perspective there would be some fines and bans towards Fenerbahce players for attacking Trabzonspor supporters for defence but it would be reduced and could only go down to 1 game and this would be at place when looking into events which happened.

Fenerbahce will discuss if it should leave Super League on 2nd April

PFDK does have difficult task but if it would focus into facts and providing bans and fines according to events it would make that task much easier for themselves.

Fenerbahce CEO Ali Koc has made statement that question of taking his club outside of Super League would be discussed at administrative meeting on 2nd April as sign of protest for not only events on Trabzonspor but also other events and attitude towards team in recent years and stating if they dont want this club at top league than they would not compete at it. It is unlikely that this decision would come out but this issue does show that it send strong message to TFF and other clubs.

Fenerbahce needed to provide strong message following this events and this has been case without doubt to raise pressure towards Turkish football world.

Trabzonspor fans overshadowed game against Fenerbahce.

Unfortunately, highly-anticipaged game between Trabzonspor and Fenerbahce has been overshadowed from hooliganistic actions from home fans with events which took place mainly in 2nd half and rose to highest at the end of the game.

It was clear from start of the game that Trabzonspor supporters were not intenting for game to be played in peaceful manner and providing some harm towards Fenerbahce players as it keep through plastic glasses of water which some of them getting to players and also head coach Ismail Kartal and also been thrown while Dominik Livakovic was going through medical checkup. Even following game where Trabzonspor supporters has entered to field to prevent Fenerbahce players to celebrate win has led for an attack from fans to players and self-defence from players. Hence, this has been new intervention from Trabzonspor fans towards Fenerbahce players which been taken place for ages.

It needs to be stated that Fenerbahce actions were self-defence and it would be interesting to see if PFDK would take this into account when making decisions. 

Fenerbahce got an important win apart of hooligans aiming to prevent it.

Coming to game, it needs to be mentioned that it was pretty exciting and high tempo game where both teams did aim to win game for their own reasons regardless how much hooligans has aimed to prevent for game to be ended in peaceful manner.

Fenerbahce did provide pretty strong and confident performance during 1st half as it did control game and it did find 2 goals and didnt provide much chances to opponents however as Trabzonspor supporters started to provide hooliganstic actions especially in 2nd half, team did been affected and led Trabzonspor to get back but still Michy Batshuayi did find a winning goal towards end of the game. It needs to be mentioned that due of hooliganstic events, Fenerbahce still managed to get win which does show how team is focussed to get title and this should be praised as team without doubt would fight for title until last whistle in the league.

Fenerbahce are showing strong character and expected to be doing so until season would be over in such exciting title race with Galatasaray.

Galatasaray won with concentration not performance.

Galatasaray did get a crucial win against Kasimpasa with 3:2 scoreline at one of the most exciting games of the season but it does need to be mentioned that it did win with detirmantion and finding spirit among also Kasimpasa being left with 1 man less at game.

It is hard to state that Galatasaray did provide top level performance on the field especially during 1st half as Kasimpasa did have more control of the game and did look like it wanted to get win at the last minute. It could be stated that Kasimpasa has been side to lose 2 points in fact.Still, Galatasaray winning spirit and concentration among level of quality at the team, which has been decider for this for long time, has played crucial role for winning this game and without doubt team got motivational boost for rest of the season. Also, it needs to be mentioned that Mauro Icardi has been best player in the field with finding goals when it needed most despite of not converting penalty.

This win hence would provide motivation and confidence boost to the team and it did show that it capable to push until last minute even when gamewise it has some issues.

Fenerbahce wins an important win against Trabzonspor at needless tension game between fans.

Fenerbahce got very important win against Trabzonspor with 3:2 scoreline at the game which sadly has been dominated by hooligan behaviour of Trabzonspor supporters especially at 2nd half due of high pressure in Turkish football world.

Despite of high number of talks Trabzonspor and Fenerbahce administrators and coaches to state that this game would be just another game where focus should be given to the football at field some supporters did have different aims and idea of this game as some plastic bottles has been thrown into field and also game has ended with Trabzonspor supporters inventing field where Fenerbahce supporters were celebrating victory. Coming to game, it needs to be mentioned that Fenerbahce has been side which did provide good performance as Fred did find his first 2 goals for the team in the league and did control whole 1st half while opponent did raise its pressure and did find 2 goals with one of them being from Trezeguet penalty however with title race for Fenerbahce pushed Michy Batshuayi to find crucial goal which has bring win to the team. 

Coming to the Trabzonspor, as been noted it did start game during 1st half without getting any control of the 1st half as it failed to get full control of the ball but it needs to be mentioned that it got into higher performance during 2nd half and did find equaliser and hence Trabzonspor did show strong attitude after poor performance on 1st half but couldnt prevent Fenerbahce rise of tempo as Batshuayi did find an open goal.

Fenerbahce hence did find an important goal on such crucial game which has been with higher tension and hence continues its title race with Galatasaray as point difference is still being 2 ponts.

Galatasaray has shown strong fighting spirit with a win against Kasimpasa.

Galatasaray carries on its winning run and leadership at the league despite of not being at its best as it struggle a lot against Kasimpasa but due of opponent getting red card towards end of game and detirmination led them to win game.

This has been seen by many as most difficult game for Galatasaray among games which are left in the rest of the season and it has turned out to be case as it did see Kasimpasa which did come out for the game which it wanted to win and it hard to state that team did get whole control of the game and there were moments when opponent looked to be better side. In fact, in all fairness first two goals did come for quality factors with using its skills with which it has found both goals. It also needs to be mentioned that penalty position and red card which has been followed for that has also played an important role even if Mauro Icardi didnt convert his goal chance. As been noted, Galatasaray didnt provide its best performance and did fail to get full control of the game but detirmination and not giving up regardless of scoreline has brought win to them and therefore made an important step towards winning title in the end of the season.

Without doubt when looking at game as a whole it could be stated confidently that Kasimpasa did deserve at worse draw with such performance and has provided strong performance and positive game with keep looking for goals and chances. Such performance does provide important positive signs as it fights for Conference League spot.

Besiktas continues its poor performance as it lost this time to Antalyaspor with 2:1 scoreline, only showing some reaction and reasonably good performance during 2nd half as it been unlucky in last minute.

Besiktas continues to show poor performance during 1st half with Fernando Santos and showing an improvement and more organised game during 2nd half but taking account that it did end 1st half with 2:0 scoreline, it is being reaction too late. It needs to be mentioned that it is being unlucky for not ending game at least with 1 point as Milot Rashica did slip when taking penalty kick and touched ball twice which led for goal to be disallowed. Besiktas continues showing poor performance on the field.

Besiktas continues with getting losing points during Super League campaign as it did lose to Antalyaspor this with 2:1 scoreline with pretty dramatic penalty kick from Milot Rashica who did slide and touched ball twice when taking it.

As it is known, Besiktas did come with poor performance in recent weeks and hence even through on paper it did look to be favourite, it didnt come out with much hopes as its performance continues to be declined at the league and hence this has been case as Antalyaspor did provide pretty strong and attacking game especially during 1st half as it did found an early goal on 5th minute with Balci and did control game and making 2:0 scoreline. Once again, Besiktas did raise its performance during 2nd half as it did get much more chances and did find an early goal in start of 1st half but it wasnt enough with Milot Rashica making unexpected lucky moment as player has been slided when hitting ball.

Antalyaspor as been noted did show high tempo performance with aiming to show positive football and getting further from relegation zone and it has continued in such performance as it did look better and did want to win game.

Besiktas hence continues its poor performance and did have issues to show strong game at the field and it does look like for Besiktas that end of the season would be difficult for team.

Fenerbahce would be aiming to continue its title race aims against Trabzonspor.

One of the most anticipated games during this week without doubt is being Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor as it would be very important game for both sides for different reasons as Fenerbahce would be continuing its title race while Trabzonspor will aim to secure its 3rd spot even more.

It also needs to be reminded that during this season Fenerbahce did lose only one game and this being against Trabzonspor at home ground so to some extend Fenerbahce would be seeing this game as an opportunity to get revenge and also carry on winning run and fight for title race. Fenerbahce also needs to be mentioned didnt lose too much energy during game against Royale Union and hence it would not be expected to be too tired and also did have some rotations on that game. Trabzonspor on their part would be extra motivated as always to game against Fenerbahce and this be able to provide extra push especially coming from its supporters.

Fenerbahce has provided calm and patient game against Royale Union

Fenerbahce has drawn against Olympiakos at Conference League quarter-final stage after beating Royale Union on last 16 with 3:1 aggregate scoreline despite of losing 2nd leg with 1:0 scoreline.

It needs to be mentioned that not to much criticism should be given towards this outcome from Fenerbahce as it did come to 2nd leg at home ground with 3:0 advantage and more or less only task it needed to do is to keep its advantage in this game which it has managed to do. Conceding goal on mid of 2nd half and also for Royale Union creating some chances afterwards did rise some worries but still Fenerbahce did look to be organised despite of being relaxed and even through it did concede goal from losing concentration it still got what it wanted. Turkish National Team has announced squads for international friendly games against Hungary and Austria with Cenk Ozkacar, Ahmetcan Kaplan, Semih Kilicsoy and Can Uzun being called to national team for first time.

With this friendly games it could be noted that preparation for Euro 2024 would be starting for Turkey as it would be playing against Hungary and Austria which also being sides which does show good improvement in recent years and more or less in level both of Turkey and average team at Euro 2024. Hence, this two friendlies could provide some good tests to national team. Advantage from 1st leg has provided calmness to Fenerbahce on this 2nd leg.

Fenerbahce has qualified to Conference League quarter-final despite of losing to Royale Union at home ground with 1:0 scoreline as it an average scoreline of 3:1 thanks to confident performance at 1st leg.

It needs to be mentioned that due of relaxation from 1st leg as it got confident scoreline and also with crucial Trabzonspor game coming up on this week at the league, Fenerbahce did provide slow tempo performance as it aimed more or less to keep it in low level and didnt create much chances with providing calm game. To some extend, with showing such calm game has been main reason why it did lose game as goal which did come from Rasmussen has been due of loss of concentration. In fact,it could be mentioned that due of outcome from 1st leg, Royale Union didnt provide too much threatening performance as it also looked like it was out of concentration especially in 1st half as it didnt manage to convert high chances. Still, it needs to be mentioned that Fenerbahce were focussed at defence and it didnt provide too much chances for opponent but didnt provide too much attacking game. Still, Royale Union did have good Conference League campaign but didnt show much resistance especially on 1st leg to Fenerbahce.

Fenerbahce hence got into quarter-final of the Conference League as 1st leg has affected this game as it would be waiting for its opponent on 15th March at draw.

Sadattin Saran would run for Fenerbahce CEO.

Sadattin Saran who has been seen for long time as potential Fenerbahce CEO has announced that he would be resigning from Istanbul Chamber of Commerce to focus into Fenerbahce candidacy campaign.

As it could be seen, this has been an official announcement of Saran for his candidacy for this position as he could be seen for now only one candidate as Ali Koc did announce that he would not run for reelection even through there is talks that he might change his mind in future according how team ends this season. Saran did run in some of the elections and is being popular personality at the club so he could getting some support within club when elections would be taken place.

It would be seen unlucky that he would get much votes if Ali Koc would run at election but things could be changed if Koc would not announce his candidacy as he stated himself.

Lazio are interested to appoint Okan Buruk as club's head coach

It is being reported that Lazio are having interests with appointing Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk during summer transfer window due of his successful performance at Istanbul clubs.

With Lazio considering to end contract with Maurizio Sarri, it is reported that Okan Buruk has been among candidates at this position as player does have also some playing experience at Serie A and in fact is seen among as expected players, in addition he does know some Italian which would make him easy to adapt if move would happen. Stating that list of Lazio for head coach position is being long and it is hard to know if negotiations would even start between Buruk and club.

Fenerbahce needs to stay confused for not making 2nd leg difficult out of nowhere.

Fenerbahce will be coming out to Conference League Last 16 2nd leg game at home ground with an important advantage of 3:0 scoreline and as long as it gives strong concentration to Royale Union it shouldnt have much issues in this tie.

It needs to be mentioned that Fenerbahce are being as saying says one foot at the quarter-finals stage of the tournament, but it still needs to give strong focus to the game as Royale Union to not getting surprising result. Most important minutes at this tie could be in the first game as Royale Union likely would be focussing to find an early goal so role of defenders would be most important and finding goal for Fenerbahce could end this tie. Positive news is that Fenerbahce generally does seem to be focussed during its games and if things are not going as planned it does tend to show strong reaction so as long as it provides similar focus it should be not having much issues.

Fenerbahce CEO Ali Koc has made press conference where he has focussed into issues which are happening at Galatasaray from his perspective calling them to be unfair and being double sided.

Following conference, has been entirely focussed to Galatasaray as he has mentioned himself at the start of it focussing into some tricks at transfers, referees statements connection with TFF among others which could provide some rising of tension between clubs which arleady been high in Turkish football and it would be interesting to see how Galatasaray would respond to this statements.

Sadly, the tension between those 2 clubs are being high and it doesnt seem to be reduced or even would get higher until end of this season and possibly even beyond it.

It has been reported that Besiktas would have a meeting with its coach Fernando Santos due of poor performance of the team and poor results.

Among getting poor results in some weeks Besiktas also has even bigger decline of its performance as it doesnt score many goals and fails to show much reaction when getting behind.
