Jorge Jesus would stay at Fenerbahce until end of the season.
Fenerbahce administrator Erol Bilecik has stated that club's head coach Jorge Jesus would be staying at the club at least until end of the season as there are rumours that he could be moving to Brasil National Team.
Following World Cup 2022 poor performance of Brasil and sacking of Tite, Brasil football federation has been looking for replacement with Jorge Jesus being seen as one of the main candidates. Even through Jesus would see as this an important and challenging offer, he always has been loyal to contract deal at the teams which he were and without doubt he would be to Fenerbahce especially as he is happy and does have good chances to end season with title, high aims at Europa League and also an aim to show good performance at Turkish Cup. Therefore, it could be stated for sure that he would not terminate contract as long as it is being effective.
Stating that, question if his contract would be extended is being unclear and does look to become clear towards end of the season.
Mauro Icardi has returned to Istanbul for recovery of his injury.
Galatasaray player Mauro Icardi has returned to Istanbul and has joined his team facilities where he would be continuing his recovery process from injury.
As it is known, after becoming injured Icardi has travelled to Argentina for recovering on his injury and also got chance to sort out some of personnel life issues. What would be pleasant to see that 1st stage of the recovery has been completed prior to 1 week to restart of the season and would likely go through fast recovery in Istanbul at the Galatasaray facilities.
Our account would follow his recovery would eb taking place and would be reported if there some important developments in this period.
Fenerbahce are interested to transfer Moussa Dembele.
Fenerbahce has also entered into transfer fight for Moussa Dembele, a player which Galatasaray has shown big interest.
It needs to be mentioned that in recent transfer windows Fenerbahce has been involved at transfer talks which Galatasaray has been interested with lots of cases being a winner at "transfer war". It needs to be mentioned that this has been news for now and it is unclear if Fenerbahce did have negotiations or how serious there are but if there are it could become one of the most talked transfer talks in upcoming mid-season transfer window.
With Galatasaray setting an eye for Demblele, it would be interesting to see how Fenerbahce entering to this transfer talks would effect on-going negotiations.
