Kerem Akturkoglu has been selected as 3rd captain of team.
Galatasaray has selected its player Kerem Akturkoglu as 3rd captain despite of his young age after Fernando Muslera and Bafetembi Gomis as player did show some good performance in recent years.
This decision is also could been due of the fact that player is being decline during this season and also provide motivation and confidence among the fact that talks about extending his contract is still being discussed at Turkish sports media. Even through this status is pretty far as there are 2 players ahead of him, this would provide some confidence to player without doubt for rest of the season and taking account his age and if he would stay at the club, this could mean that he would become even main captain in near future.
Kerem Akturkoglu in all fairness did deserve such decision from club as he did show some good performance and leadership role in recent seasons.
Gaziantep election has moved to 22nd December.
Gaziantep has announced that it would be having CEO election on 22nd December as it didnt gain majority of the membership as it does look like current CEO would be staying in his position.
It would need to be mentioned that Gaziantep despite of having some economical issues at the club, has been administered in pretty good manner with getting some good players on its levels and getting some good results with Emre Bulut, so it is unlikely that current administrators and members of the group are being unhappy how club has been run. Therefore, this election is more or less is run to approve administration of Cevdat Akinel.
It is expected that he would be getting confident win and could move side forward with performance in upcoming seasons.
Sergio Oliviera and Haris Seferovic are back to training sessions.
Galatasaray player Sergio Oliviera and Haris Seferovic has resumed training session following recovery from injury and after World Cup 2022 performance with Switzealand respectfully.
It would be needed to state that without doubt administrators and supporters would be especially glad for development of Sergio Oliviero as he did recover from injury with 1 week prior to restart of the season, and even through he would need some adaptation training programmes, he is unlikely to miss lots of games in the upcoming weeks. Stating that as always it would be expected for him to continue recovery process and return when he would be ready and without risk of injury.
Still, with worry that he could even end calendar year, it is glad to see him back on training sessions.
