Basaksehirspor has gained its performance and motivation for league title race.
Basaksehirspor player Eljero Elia goal against Besiktas during Super League 26th week game has helped his team to enter to national team break and also last 8 weeks of the Super League with being 1 point behind Galatasaray and being right into title race.
As it was known, prior to Besiktas game with team losing 4:1 to Alanyaspor it was expected that team performance has been dropped and their are not able to provide much needed performance as this blog has also criticised in previous weeks. But with providing top level performance and out playing Besiktas, even through their opponents had been very poor, does show how much team is focussed and has recoverred its performance in perfect timing. Basaksehirspor has also gained an advantage over Besiktas in case if same points would identify league title between two sides. Taking account that Basaksehirspor would play against Galatasaray in this 8 week period the title race would be taking an exciting take this season. Again could Basaksehirspor top level performance is not clear but not losing or even drawing against Besiktas with having one extra man is big achievement and would provide much needed motivation for last 8 weeks.
Basaksehirspor has provided great performance especially in sense of organisation during game against Besiktas and hence it would be aiming to provide similar game if it wants to get league title.
Besiktas has been unexpectadly poor against Basaksehirspor
As it was stated and was clear by everyone Turkish Super League 26th week games would be very crucial and even through might not identify winner of the competition it would identify aims and character for last 8 weeks.
And with Besiktas getting win would put them into pretty strong position their poor performance means that their league title is out of their hand in almost similar way as to Fenerbahce and also yesterday performance did provide worry that team might lose points. Besiktas has provided one of their worst performance at the time when it has mattered most for the team and wasnt able to focus into game. This could be due of physical and psychological tiredness which team experienced but in same time it had week prior to this game. Even through 2nd half it has controlled game it didnt manage to provide dangerous attacks which has been mainly due of lacking having attackers at the team right now and could affect team focus into league title.
Besiktas needs to improve mentally for upcoming game after national team break and needs to win all games and wait for other results.
Trabzonspor has improved its attacking game against Yeni Malatyaspor.
Trabzonspor has regained an incredible amount of motivation with its performance during last 2 weeks as it has scored 9 goals which includes 4 towards Yeni Malatyaspor during Super League 26th week game.
Trabzonspor as it was clear has been aiming to improve its attacking game which was identified as main issue for weeks from head coach Riza Calimbay and also take away dominance to be scored goals from Burak Yilmaz. Game against Yeni Malatyaspor seems to show that Trabzonspor is solved this or at least at the great track as it has found 4 goals from which only 1, from penalty kick, has been scored from Burak Yilmaz. The main star of the game has been Yusuf Yazici which has found 2 goals back to back during game and has shown his high level performance and once again reminded why European clubs are interested to transfer him during summer. Such a win and also with Calimbay aiming to improve at the team does give signs that Trabzonspor would be able to provide tough game against Galatasaray after national team break.
More importantly team has raised to the 5th place and would aim to keep that aim with taking Europa League spot for next season.
