Basaksehirspor has improved during 2nd leg against Maccabi Netanya.
Basaksehirspor gets to the next round of the qualifying stage after beating Maccabi Netanya with 1:0 scoreline thanks to the Ndiayeshemeye goal who has scored his 1st goal at European competition in career.
There were questions that Basaksehirspor would need to improve his performance during 2nd leg of 2nd qualifying round against Maccabi Netanya and side looked to be in much more agressive mode during this game with finding an early goal at 10th minute. Following goal, Basaksehirspor has continued showing an organised game both in the attack and defence game with being focussed into getting high amount of chances and also preventing Netanya getting into much of the opportunities. Basaksehirspor still needs to improve with performance but this two legs has been good tests for them for upcoming games both at Conference League and in the domestically.
Basaksehirspor would now meet with Breidablik at next round as it would be coming as much stronger favourite without doubt.
Konyaspor got into next stage without much trouble.
Konyaspor has continued its serious focus towards game against BATE Borisov as it controlled game with finding 2 goals and could even scored more if its been more likely.
Without doubt, Konyaspor aim has been to show top level performance and prove to its supporters and opponent that it has been better side as it controlled game pretty strongly and didnt let BATE get into game for most amount of the game. Even through by many this game could be seen as more or less formality one, it stayed focussed. Only negative aspect has been red card, in similar manner as been in 1st leg, and if it wants to have good season in Europe it needs to be careful with amount of red cards it gets during this period.
Konyaspor would now meet with Vaduz and if it provides similar performance against as their did against BATE it should not have much issues.
Sivasspor expects to show strong resistance to Trabzonspor at Super Cup.
Turkish football season is going to be start as always with Super Cup game between league winners Trabzonspor and cup winners Sivasspor where Trabzonspor would be seen as favourites but it would not be an easy game for them.
Without doubt, both sides would be aiming to show top level game even through they might not be entirely ready as playing 1st competitive game but it needs to be noted that Sivasspor did look to be slightly better form during pre-season friendlies even through it did play quite easier opponents compare to Trabzonspor. Trabzonspor does raise some questions meanwhile how much they ready for new season but without doubt this game would be much better reference on how it would be performing. One thing is certain Sivasspor will not let them get an easy win.
Hence, there might be pretty tactical game between sides but Trabzonspor due of quality are coming as favourites to the game.
