What happened in Turkish football today? 04/07/2018
Kasimpasa has signed professional deal with 4 of its youth players.
Kasimpasa has transferred its academy players Murat Can Yildiz, Onur Ural, Hakan Demir and
Hasan Bilal until 2021 season and hence has provided high focus towards its youth players as some clubs are doing during upcoming seasons.
With economical conditions of the teams at the Super League and lack of performance with those teams there was lots of talks about providing focus towards its academy players which was long-term issue at the Super League teams. Now with Kasimpasa signing professional deals is an important move from a team but it is also important to provide some playing time for upcoming season and provide them confidence for the future which would be crucial aspect for Kasimpasa and also whole Turkish club as all of the clubs needs to show similar focus towards younger players it has if it wants to move their own clubs ahead and also national team. Therefore, this is very important move from Kasimpasa but similar treatment should be given during games in upcoming seasons.
Those players without doubt has great potential and it is crucial for clubs to let those players get experienced and develop their skills in competitive games.
Cocu would give 2nd chance to Ozan Tufan during pre-season training camp.
Their are rumours going around that Fenerbahce head coach Phillip Cocu has decided to give another chance to its player Ozan Tufan who was unwanted man during last season and club was so eager to sell him.
It is known that Cocu has arrived to new league and also to new team and would need some time to become familiar with this current squad hence its important to used this pre-season training camp in full effect. It became clear that specific focus would be given to Ozan Tufan and to some extend let him second chance as previous head coach Aykut Kocaman was eager to sell him during past season and didnt provide him lots of time. With all focus from Cocu would be given to him it would be crucial how Tufan respond to such crucial 2nd chance he has recieved. It goes without saying that he should try to use this opportunity for maximum and continue playing at high level as unsatisfied Cocu would mean he would go down in his career.
This is an issue of course its not also goes with Tufan but with whole squad which needs to prove their worth to Cocu and Fenerbahce for next season.
Besiktas has offered 11 million euro for Daniel Sturridge.
According to British media, Besiktas has offered 11 million euro for Liverpool player Daniel Sturridge which seems to be questionable due of economical conditions Istanbul club is currently.
However, if this rumour is true it does mean that Besiktas has given full focus towards Sturridge and has taken as high priority for upcoming season and without doubt Sturridge would be able to push forward not only at Super League but also at Europa League and hence this could be understandably. However, as Besiktas as among other clubs is focussed to reduce amount of cash going out during this summer transfer window it does raise question if this offer was really provided. However, it would be likely for this to come out with decline up to this deal being actually made and announced. Stating that Sturridge is strong player and even that rumour is true it would need to be remembered that Besiktas would need to have extensive transfer negotiations.
Time would show how this story would develop but Sturridge to Besiktas is not easy task for team.
