What happened in Turkish football today? 30/06/2018

Galatasaray has managed to transfer Yuto Nagatomo from Inter Milan.

Galatasaray has transferred Inter Milan player Yuto Nagatomo who was loaned to team during 2nd half of last season and due of very good performance has put himself among main priorities at transfers for this summer.

In fact, as soon as season has been ended Istanbul giant club has started transfer negotiations with Inter Milan player who also wanted to stay at the team and hence has also made it clear to Italian side. Galatasaray hence with very effective negotiations has managed to transfer him with 2,500,000 euro which could be seen as pretty modest fee for such a quality player and has agreed with 2,000,000 euro yearly salary to Nagatomo. It was important to keep such a crucial defender player at the side which would be participating at Champions League and having very high aims at this competition. With also Nagatomo enjoying high level performance at the club, which without doubt has had effect towards his performance at national team would hence without doubt keep player happy to stay at this team for next season.

Hence, without doubt it has kept both Nagatomo and Galatasaray happy that this deal has been made by both sides and would be aiming to continue a great relationship with both sides.

Ryan Donk has extended contract with Galatasaray for 1+1 years.

Another transfer deal which has also been made by Galatasaray has been extension of contract with its player Ryan Donk of who team head coach Fatih Terim has been interested to keep at the team.
Ryan Donk did manage to provide high level performance at the side during recent seasons and has played an important role without doubt in the team during league title. Hence and also believing into Donk continuing high level performance during next season, has led team to continue transfer negotiations regarding his extension with club. With coming to the deal, it became also clear that his contract would be automatically extended to another year if he would play 21 games during next season Super League. Without doubt due of economical conditions with clubs Galatasaray would try their best to keep their current squad intact and also fight for another league title and also good performance at the Champions League for next season. So far, even through slowly, Galatasaray manages to keep its transfer politics in right manner and does show habits of becoming competitive team for next season.

Ryan Donk who has improved at his performance with Fatih Terim is expected to have good season also and has high hopes.

Akhisarspor has apponted Safet Susic for 1+1 years.

Akhisarspor has announced appointment of head coach Safet Susic for next season as it was among team who were looking for new head coach after surprising ending contract with its coahc Okan Buruk who played an important role for bringing Turkish Cup to team last season.

Safet Susic who has reasonable good spell at the Alanyaspor during last season taking account that it was difficult for club to provide high level performance during last season had a good adaptation to the Super League and without doubt would aim to show better performance at his new team both at the league and also Europa League as it would compete at the competitions without qualifying. Susic has capacity to fulfill high aims for next season even with low amount of financial possibilities he has in sense of economical aspects of the club. Akhisarspor surely writes new chapter at its team and now would be aiming to provide high level performance with looking to make side much stronger and provided needed motivation at such crucial and difficult season awaiting for the club.

Contract which has been signed for 1+1 years would be tough one for a team a tough one without doubt but Susic is aware of that and would act according to that to move team forward.
