Galatasaray didnt manage to win its 1st game during Turkish Cup againt Konyaspor.

Galatasaray didnt manage its 1st game with Fatih Terim during Turkish Cup quarter-final 1st leg against cup holders as their are opponents has shown once again following Trabzonspor game that it has all  of the aims to secure its title.

Galatasaray it needs to be mentioned compare to Konyaspor has come out with more unusual squad to the game which certainly has led for such a result even through to some extend it could be stated that the team did get small advantage by finding 2 goals in away field, but Konyaspor certainly has no aims at all to be eliminated at this stage. In fact, it took whole 1st half even through by creating number of dangerous chances during game but didnt manage to convert those chances which has provided confidence to Konyaspor as game continued. It did start 2nd half in pretty good way with scoring goals within 5 minutes between 50th-55th minutes and has shown its usual performance. Even when number of important players including Bafetembi Gomis coming out to the field didnt let them finding more goals and have conceded in last minute.

Meanwhile, Konyaspor has shown very impressive performance during today's game making it clear that it has all focus towards defending its title with probably most pleasant new is for Adis Jahovic to carry on scoring this time for Konyaspor.

Aykut Kocaman statements has put into shadow their performance against Giresunspor at Turkish Cup.

Fenerbahce head coach Aykut Kocaman statement following Turkish Cup quarter-final game against Giresunspor has managed to put into shadow the game itself which it has won with 2:1 scoreline with having difficult time agaisnt 1st league opponent.

Therefore, this tie is still open and promises to be with full of excitement and tension at the 2nd leg as long as Fenerbahce doesnt score their 1st goal 1st during game.

Akhisarspor has got small advantage over Kayserispor. 

With Ataseven goal during last minute of the game, Akhisarspor has managed to get an advantage scoreline against Kayserispor during Turkish Cup quarter-final 1st leg and this goal could become very crucial as this tie is expected to be pretty close.

Of course, scoring 1 goal at home ground at 2 leg tie at home could not be seen as big advantage and hence the 1st goal during 2nd leg could play an important role at the game. However, Akhisarspor did show some good performance looking for chance but so did their opponents and it didnt end up being game with some good and quality opportunities at both sides as was expected from this blog.
Akhisarspor did get well deserved win but its still need to show same performance or even more during 2nd leg game against team which does have good season all-around. Only negative point is the high opportunity for Marius Sumudica, Kayserispor head coach, to get banned for some number of games and he would very likely be viewing game at the stands and will not have direct influence to the game.

All is open at this tie and there will be big excitement for 2nd leg game and time would show how the game would be developed at 2nd leg and how Akhisarspor will use its advantage.
