Fenerbahce has got small away game advantage against Giresunspor.
Fenerbahce has managed to win Giresunspor during Turkish Cup quarter-final 1st leg game even through as this blog has predicted in previous entry it would not be an easy task as Fernandao has managed to win game with his penalty goal as game ended with 2:1 scoreline.
Fenerbahce it needs to be stated that it has started game in pretty good manner as it has controlled ball with passing ball around but didnt manage to find lots of chances unti set piece goal scored by Mehmet Topal which has also marked 1st assist from Eljif Elmas. During 2nd half when Giresunspor has improved its performance and showing much better brave football has opened game a lot but also showed that Fenerbahce could be beated from this side. In fact it could have goal earlier with penalty kick however Giresunspor penaly kick has been done in unpredictable manner. To some extend Fenerbahce did have some weakness during 2nd half but still has managed to get upper side of the game and get into the chances. This draw result could affect motivation to Fenerbahce after Trabzonspor draw and hence Fernandao goal was very important to team for upcoming games.
Giresunspor didnt manage to get into game mood during 1st half but has improved a lot during 2nd half with finding high number of the chances and also didnt convert penalty kick. Even through Giresunspor did lose game, it did show with its performance that reason for its to be at quarter-final stage is not surprise.

With the help of last minute goal by Akhisarspor player Eray Ataseven against Kayserispor during Turkish Cup quarter-final 1st leg game at home, team has got small advantage in this tie as it looks forward for 2nd leg game next week.
As was stated at our blog entry yesterday, what makes this tie specifically interested that the game would been playing with two sides who with having low chance to get league title would be aiming high places at Turkish Cup, even aiming to winning it. Besiktas has shown pretty attacking game against Genclerbirligi at Turkish Cup.
Besiktas carries on providing high-leve performance at the Turkish Cup as it has got very important advantage against Genclerbirligi during 1st leg game with 3:1 scoreline with providing pretty impressive performance.
In fact, Besiktas has shown an attacking game during whole game looking for chances and aiming for bigger win as team head coach Senol Gunes has even stated that he was dissapointed with results taking account how many their recieved.
