Fenerbahce qualified to 3rd qualifying round but didnt show too convincing game.

Fenerbahce has reached to Champions League 3rd qualifying round after beating Lugano with 2:1 scoreline at home ground and aggregate scoreline of 6:4, but it needs to be mentioned that Fenerbahce didnt show very good performance and has went through quality factor of the team.

It needs to be mentioned that Fenerbahce has been criticised with its performance during 1st leg especially at defensive game and there were expectations from them to show much more stronger and organised game at home ground but in surprising manner its performance went even down as Lugano did find an early goal in similar manner as in 1st leg and did control game during 1st half in general. Fenerbahce did have an issue to show strong and organised game at the field with failing to control game and possession with having some issue with formation of the player on the field. Until free-kick goal from Edin Dzeko, Fenerbahce didnt manage to get control of the game and had looked to be pretty passive but till being inside game did bring some confidence to the game which led for this 2 goals. It needs to be also mentioned that Lugano did look tired towards end of the game which went into hand of Fenerbahce.

Fenerbahce would need to use its advantage at home ground.

Fenerbahce would be playing at home ground during Champions League 2nd qualifying round 2nd leg against Lugano with 4:3 advantage but it still needs to be stayed focussed and provide an effective game.

Even through Fenerbahce does come out as favourites for 2nd leg and whole tie, it needs to be mentioned that it did make it slight difficult or more precise did keep chances alive for Lugano due of conceding at last minute and generally poor defensive game. It needs to be mentioned Fenerbahce would be expected to provide much more attacking game with creating lots of chances but it would need to provide more defensive game as Lugano would look for some chances. Ugurcan Cakir has been main reason for Trabzonspor win.

Trabzonspor got 2:0 win at away game but didnt show an effective game at all.

Trabzonspor got an important win at away game against Ruzemborog with 2:0 scoreline but it needs to be mentioned that Turkish side did provide too many chances to its opponents and game has only ended with clean sheet thanks to Ugurcan Cakir.

Trabzonspor did come out to game as favourites and this has been seen with scoreline but it needs to be mentioned that gamewise it did have trouble at getting upper hand of the game apart of few minutes at the start of 2nd half and apart of that it did provide many chances to Ruzemborog which some chances didnt come due of last touches or unluck for them but mainly due of crucial saves from goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir. Fenerbahce got an advantage scoreline but not so great performance.

Fenerbahce has started its new season campaign among Champions League journey and Jose Mourinho 1st official game with a win against Swiss side Lugano as it has won with 4:3 scoreline but it is clear team needs to imporve.

Also conceding an early goal and having an issue to respond to it has provided some issues to side during 1st half which has led side to get issues until it has found goal from penalty kick and afterwards Fenerbahce did have dominant game for first minutes of 2nd half. It is clear Fenerbahce does need to improve defensive game for upcoming games in season but it did get score which it seeks for.

Trabzonspor would be starting its 2024-25 season with Europa League 2nd qualifying round 1st leg game against Slovakian side Ruzemborog at the game which is being clear favourites.

It needs to be stated as would be expected that 2nd qualifying rounds games for Turkish side did get teams which would not provide many issues towards them at the game and hence Trabzonspor would be coming as strong favourites and only issue that it would be serious towards game and show confident strong performance.
