Fenerbahce has provided an important economical play and tactical win against Akhisar Belediyespor.

Fenerbahce has managed to win against Akhisar Belediyespor with 3:1 scoreline at the Super League 10th week game with providing economical football without providing too much effort after tiresome game against Manchester United at the Europa League.

Fenerbahce did everything right during the game and has played tactical and smart game without providing much tempo against Akhisar Belediyespor who is going through very bad period at the league. Fenerbahce player Aatif Chachehouhue who didnt play for long time prior to last week game against Karabukspor has shown a great game today with scoring a goal and earlier providing great assist to Robin van Persie. Being also heavily damaged with referee decisions at last season game against Galatasaray, Trabzonspor has come to conclusion and possibly rightly that TFF and referees are against Trabzonspor successes. Every season we are having lots of criticism of referee decision and with this season being little bit quiet it still has raised to its maximum of Mete Kalkavan. One of the arguments has been set that it was wrong for him to referee game as he was tired from difficult Europa League game on Thursday.

Referee do make mistakes at the games this is another beauty of the football, however some positions is impossible not to ignore and this was been seen at the position yesterday. You can only miss this by having double standards or loss of concentration. Referees need to be stay focussed 90 minutes to reduce those mistakes.

Besiktas finished job by scoring goals within 20 minutes against Trabzonspor.

Unfortunately, poor referee decisions by Mete Kalkavan has overshadowed such a great game which both sides has shown to viewers during Trabzonspor and Besiktas game as it was important game for both sides.

Besiktas meanwhile carries on winning the game at its home ground and to be fair it needs to be stated that Besiktas would not have loss yesterday game regardless of referee even through it could be argued that Trabzonspor could get draw from game. In fact, Besiktas head coach Senol Gunes did state after game that luckily we didnt concede 2nd goal which shows that he was worried at some point in the game. It was normal to some extend as Trabzonspor has improved its performance during 2nd half and has shown that it wants to win. Besiktas meanwhile has shown great start to game but later lost tempo possibly from tiredness from Napoli game at Champions League. Those two goals has brought win to Besiktas or otherwise it could have very tough game at its hand. Trabzonspor meanwhile has shown nice football and despite of losing game gives signs of better future it would have for rest of the season.

This was an important game and right now Besiktas is two points behind leaders Basaksehirspor without losing single game at Champions League and Super League, while Trabzonspor regained confidence from game rather than score.

Besiktas early goals has led them to win against Trabzonspor.

Super League 10th week game between Besiktas and Trabzonspor has been played in very fast-paced football especially during the 2nd half where both sides has gave its best to win the game. Besiktas has started the game in attacking style which led them to score 2 early goals which played biggest role for Istanbul side to win such an important game.

From start of the game Besiktas has shown that it wanted to win the game by providing fast and effective attacks into Trabzonspor goal which surely has affected to the poor performance of the Trabzonspor until around 30th minute. In fact, after Cenk Tosun has scored penalty goal at the 17th minute it did look like Besiktas would get an easy win and the game has developed in such a way. However, goal scored by Yusuf Erdogan which brought score to 2:1 has changed game entirely and Trabzonspor has shown much more attacking football. Besiktas need to play its best football to not concede another goal as game progressed since Trabzonspor and it needed to stay focussed both at defence and trying to score another goal. Besiktas did achieve that with being careful at defence and also couple of good saves from Besiktas goalkeeper Fabri.

Trabzonspor it needs to be stated has performed a great game against Besiktas in overall, however poor performance by them during 1st half has cost them a lot or otherwise Trabzonspor could have fought for a win and if it didnt concede those two goals in 1st 17 minutes. Basaksehirspor carries on dream-like start of the Super League this season with managing to win one of the top 4 teams in Turkey, Galatasaray with 2:1 scoreline at Turk Telekom Arena. With this win, Istanbul side shows that it doesnt aim to give its leadership to other team in this period of time at least.

In recent years, the game between those two sides has been taken place in exciting manner with high dangerous attacks and scorelines including 3:3 draw during last season. However, this game with possibility of circumstances this game could have to both sides it was played at much slower pace which has allowed Basaksehirspor to control game much more easier and get the result which it was seeking for. Galatasaray at such an important game had a serious problem at creating dangerous chances and players didnt look themselves that their were satisfied with the performance. This performance does give a view that Galatasaray is having decrease of its performance and as it was referring as among best teams at the league this season it has found in few weeks time 6 points behind the leaders, as it was game for 6 points in such an early stages. Fenerbahce has provided a great revenge for 4:1 loss in Manchester at the previous game to the Manchester United during Europa League 4th week game providing a great defensive game and showing one of the best games of this season yesterday.

This was among few games, in fact other one being at the Feyenoord, where teamwise Fenerbahce has shown great performance especially at the defence where it tried its best to reduce chances of the Manchester United to go forward and create chances. Besiktas head coach Senol Gunes still with limited amount of players at its hand for a game has managed to provide best starting 11 which was able to prevent for Napoli to score a goal even through it did create number of chance. Besiktas has mainly kept game at the middle and that went into their advantage.

Fenerbahce aims to provide similar performance as it did with Feyenoord against Manchester United.

Besiktas has got 1 point following tactical game against Napoli.

Besiktas has provided much more tactical and careful game against Napoli during Champions League 4th week game, where it was giving much more attention for not losing the game compare to the last week game at the Italy.

Reason for Besiktas to play more secure was to give more importnace not to lose game as this scoreline could become more crucial compare to losing to Napoli especially taking account that it was missing high number of players due of injury including Caner Erkin and Talisca. Its defence and midfielder has shown better performance compare to attackers and didnt give too much dangerous chances to the Napoli during the game. It does need to be stated that Napoli also has provided much more careful game possibly due of playing in Istanbul and also losing at the previous game. Besiktas did in fact go into leadership with penalty goal by the Ricardo Quaresma goal at the 78th minute following patient and tactical performance but did concede from Marek Hamsik after 4 minutes who had scored high class goal which Fabri couldnt do much about. Besiktas did provide good football and did still get good result which gives them high chances to get to next stage.

Napoli has played also patient football due of losing last week game and also playing in Turkey and has provided high focus game with creating actually more chances compare to Besiktas. In similar manner, this is good result for Napoli as it would allow them to stay leaders at the group.

Galatasaray player Yasin Oztekin has been taken from squad for undisciplinary behaviour.

One of the talking points of previous weekend has been behaviour of the Galatasaray player Yasin Oztekin when he was substituted and his angry and undisciplinary action during Super League 9th week game against Adanaspor.

From preventing this behaviour to become habit to the Yasin Oztekin and also of the whole team Galatasaray administration with approval of head coach Jan Olde Riekerink has decided to take him away from main squad and he would carry on his training sessions at the youth team. Duration of this punishment has not been announced but it is reported that he could be forgiven by a club prior to 11th week game against Fenerbahce which will take place on 20th November. The decision is certainly is correct one by the team as its been stated it would affect other team members. Stating that it does raise question if same actions would be taken if players like Wesley Sneijder, Muslera or Podolski do the same or just fine would been chosen instead.

Galatasaray would play without Yasin Oztekin in very crucial game against league leaders Basaksehirspor on 4th November but he is not being one of the best players at the squad so it might not affect to the team too negatively.

It would become how realistic for Basaksehirspor to fight for league title in next 3 weeks.

Fenerbahce provided great performance despite of referee overshadowing game.

Fenerbahce confident win against Karabukspor during Super League 9th week game has been mainly dominated by the arguments about referee performance by the Firat Aydinus especially red card and penalty position during the game.

It needs to be stated that looking at the position objectively, there was not penalty in the view of this account hence the push was very light and Fenerbahce player Mehmet Topal let him fall even through there was contact from Karabukspor player. Stating that it needs to be identify that Fenerbahce still provided high level of performance and as been stated at the yesterday blog it would very likely win the game even through it would been 1-2 goal difference if there was not red card given to the Ceyhun Gulselam. Fenerbahce did provide top football and wanted to win the game prior to Manchester United game at the Europa League and also get confidence and motivation for its attempt to raise at the Super League table following very poor start.

Fenerbahce did provide great performance and would surely aim to carry on like this for upcoming weeks or at least until national team break as it would set its mind to Galatasaray game at that period.

Trabzonspor shows good football but it needs mainly results.

Trabzonspor and Rizespor game at the Super League 9th week game, which was rightly qualified as, Black Sea Derby by the Turkish media and clubs themselves has been played at great tempo where both teams wanted to win the game. However, this result has provided some issues to the Trabzonspor.

In similar manner as Fenerbahce, Trabzonspor needed to win games back-to-back and getting good win against Galatasaray last week it was aiming to carry on this performance yesterday and despite of getting ahead twice during the game it wasnt able to get wanted result and was need to accept to get 2:2 scoreline at the end. Trabzonspor has provided good attacking football at the game yesterday but this time it wasnt great at defence but still its performance was pretty good. Still, it needs to start convert this performance to the wins or otherwise it will end season as badly as it did in last few years which would be dissapointing for season which is seen as bridge season for next season league title aim.

Trabzonspor does show potential for going up at the table but it needs to improve and get good results and game against Besiktas, as was against Galatasaray, could be good chance to once again starting winning games.

Besiktas will not be able to play with its best team against Napoli.

Besiktas would aim to repeat its success against Napoli which it did at the last week of the Champions League this time in Istanbul, but it would have tough time as high number of the players at the team are injured and Senol Gunes will not be able to introduce his best squad tomorrow.

Players who are injured are Caner Erkin, Aras Ozbiliz, Atiba Hutchinson, Omer Sismanoglu while Oguzhan Ozyakup physical preparedness to the game is uncertain. Therefore, Senol Gunes even does have as known have great alternative squad at the team he will not be able to provide his best squad as most of those players for instance high number of them didnt have enough playing time this season..
