What happened in Turkish football today? 05/07/2023

Fenerbahce appoints Ismail Kartal for 1-year.

Fenerbahce has appointed Ismail Kartal as club's head coach Ismail Kartal for 1-year as it went into roots to get league title after 9 years at the press conference where Ali Koc did criticise Jorge Jesus tactical performance.

It needs to be mentioned that even through Ali Koc has been providing some unsuccessful outcomes since becoming CEO of the team, he is being very eager to get title this season as there is risk for him to go into history without any single title. Appointment of Ismail Kartal as been mentioned on our previous entries has been going back to basics to the name who is being familiar with this club and expectations among knowing this league pretty well. Therefore, Fenerbahce would provide likely highly competitive performance after this appointment.

Fenerbahce once again would be fighting for title during this season and are making actions which could bring this title in this period.

Sivasspor signs Emrah Bassan.

Sivasspor has signed Emrah Bassan as the player is being very familiar in this league as he did play for long time in the Super League and has capacity to show some effective performance.

Sivasspor with change of head coach is currently going through new beginning and without doubt this would also affected into transfers during this summer as it would be seeking to get experienced but in same time to reduce its average age, and Emrah Bassan still being not very old but familiar to this league could help team which would be able to fight once again for top 4 spot and could become key player in upcoming season. Emrah Bassan hence would be accepted to take leading role both in performance and motivation in upcoming season and be important player.

Sivasspor does need to get more transfers but if it continues to make similar transfers it could have successful summer transfer window.

Hatayspor has signed Carlos Strantberg

Hatayspor has signed Carlos Strantberg as it continues to show strong comeback to the Super League after devastating earthquake and has signed another good player which would be suitable for its finances.

Hatayspor without doubt does aim to show its return to football after being affected from earthquake in strong manner and to achieve that it does get some player who are being quality with finances at the club and hence show good result at the Super League. When looking on the paper and taking account how many players it did lose so far, it is achieving that in good manner and we could see pretty strong side with players like Strantberg.

Strantberg is being pretty good player and this selection in the team could lead for some good outcomes in upcoming season.
