What happened in Turkish football today? 01/07/2023

Adana Demirspor appoints Patrick Kluivert for 2-years.

Adana Demirspor has transferred Dutch legendary player Patrick Kluivert as its head coach for 2-years even through it is hard to state that his coaching career has been a good one but he still has capacity to get some good results.

With Adana Demirspor ending previous season at 4th spot and providing positive eye-pleasant performance, club would be focussed to show at least same performance in upcoming season and with Vincenzo Montella ending contract, Patrick Kluivert would be seeking to carry on similar performance with team. Getting also coach who does have strong name in footballing history at least for now would be also sending strong message to all Turkish football followers and if results would be coming with this appointment Adana Demirspor will be seeking to get some good results domestically and also in Europe.

Time would show how successfully would be Kluivert but as been mentioned there is potentiality for him.

Kayserispor extends contract with Joseph Attamah for 2-years.

Kayserispor extends contract with Joseph Attamah for 1+1 years as player has been providing some good performance in the Super League for some years right now and would continue providing good performance for his team.

Attamah has been one of the key players in the team during previous seasons and hence it should be expected for him to carry on showing good performance in this team. During summer transfer window one of the main aims among signing some quality new names is to keep players who has been effective in the team and without doubt one of the top names for Kayserispor has been Attamah and it has achieved that.

Right now, Kayserispor would be aiming to carry making its team stronger so it wont experience stress of previous season at relegation zone.

Juan Mata leaves Galatasaray

Galatasaray player Juan Mata contract with team has been over after 1 season and even through he didnt get much playing time his role behind scenes providing experience to team players has been an important role in title.

As been noted, being man behind the scenes for most amount of the time there has been lots of talk for side to offer contract at technical staff and for sure this would be on table as he did provide good motivation towards players and does provide a valuable lesson as he does have strong career at top clubs. In either way, it does look like Mata would keep close connection with team either inside or from distance.

Supporters possibly didnt see much action from Juan Mata on field, but his joining team has played an important role at Galatasaray with behind scenes action for sure.
