Trabzonspor got crucial win with minumum scoreline.

Trabzonspor got win against last-spot Yeni Malatyaspor with minumum scoreline of 1:0 thanks to the agoal of Cornelius on 23rd minute as side gets one step closer for title.

It needs to be noted that Trabzonspor did control game from start to an end as it is been played at low tempo but this been enough for them as Yeni Malatyaspor didnt provide much pressure to Trabzonspor in the front. Therefore, it could be argued that side did continue more or less pragmatic with being side who did control game but didnt rise tempo too high and as some difficult games would be coming to them on upcoming weeks, to some extend this could be noted has been right correct as it got out of form opponent 3 points without giving too much effort and hence tiredness. Meanwhile, goal from Cornelius did once again show his importance to the side as he did find goals on recent weeks while Anthony Nwakaeme did show once again good performance, with most creative attacks including goal were led by him.

Yeni Malatyaspor during 90 minutes did provide heavily defensive game even when it got behind as only period when it did show some attacking game been ending of 1st half. Even through defensive game Yeni Malatyaspor been good, it needs to show better attacking game.

Trabzonspor got easy win despite of ending game with 1:0 scoreline and got crucial win in the title race.

Giresunspor are favourite to win game.

Galatasaray are going to restart Super League with one of the in-form side during last weeks Giresunspor while Istanbul giant is having very poor result domestically.

Galatasaray did end 2021 in bad manner as it been relegated from Turkish Cup with losing to Denizlispor and without doubt would be now seeking to have better start of 2022 as it would be playing against side which does provide some issues to number of clubs in recent weeks. When looking in the form, it needs to be mentioned that Giresunspor would be coming out as favourites to some extend as it does provide brave attacking positive football with attackers showing some confident attacking game. Galatasaray in addition does have some crucial absences due of Covid19 and hence would have some issues on this.

Giresunspor hence are coming out as favourites and this could have some direct impact with final outcome in the game.

Besiktas send request to postpone Rizespor game to TFF.

Besiktas has send request to TFF to postpone its game against Rizespor which would be taking place on 9th January as high number of Covid19 cases affects to come out with strong squad.

With Covid19 Omicron variant is being actively spread in Turkey right now, number of football clubs been affected strongly with Besiktas caretaker coach Onder Karaveli and 7 players were added to arleady existed number of high cases which leads for side to call for TFF to postpone game as without doubt it would be having some serious to make ideal starting 11. It would be interesting to see how TFF would respond to this request.

Without doubt, in our view with such high number of cases it would be right to postpone this game as it been done in most countries across Europe right now.

Besiktas ends previous season with triple.

Besiktas has won Turkish Super Cup 2022 after beating Antalyaspor with 4:2 on penalty kicks after 120 minutes game ended with 1:1 scoreline as Atiba Hutchinson became player of the game.

Besiktas did provide strong performance during 1st half to some extend even through both sides has been far from high tempo and did lack high possession but Besiktas did look to be better side which led for goal on 39th minute from Atiba Hutchinson, but Besiktas did show some signs of tiredness during 2nd half of the game as opponent which hardly showed any game during 1st half has turned around game with creating some opportunities and with such pressure did led mistake from Hutchinson. Besiktas continued to be showing some decline as game came towards end but with strong performance of Ersin Destanoglu during penalties and also better readiness led for win at penalties.

Besiktas hence did end to some extend previous season with triple and did found some motivation for upcoming games during this unsuccessful season.

Antalyaspor showed some good game from 2nd half.

Antalyaspor following very poor 1st half, due of some changes on half time has provided much more aggressive game on 2nd half which led game to go until penalty.

It did look like Antalyaspor does consider to win Super Cup during 1st half with showing pretty low tempo game on 1st half but with some changes on half-time it did turn around this game and got crucial goal from own goal from Hutchinson which did come from providing strong pressure rather then mistake from Besiktas player. During extra-time both sides started showing signs of tiredness which did look even more during penalty kicks as it didnt convert two penalties with one saved by Ersin Destanoglu and other one being hit into high posts. Still, Antalyaspor starting from 2nd half did provide some good game and been unlucky on penalties.

Antalyaspor didnt provide necessarily good game but did show some fighting spirit from 1st half with willing to get this cup.

Trabzonspor are coming out to game as strong favourites.

Turkish Super League would be resuming with league leaders game against last spot side Yeni Malatyaspor, with Trabzonspor coming as strong favourites.

Trabzonspor is currently both mentally and confidence is focussed into winning this season title with keeping feet on ground and without doubt playing with last spot side which is currently showing very poor game, it would need to win this game if it wants this title with all respect to opponent. Even through Trabzonspor during recent games does show some signs of pragmatic game, it would likely show attacking game when looking into level of opponent with all respect to them.

Yeni Malatyaspor would try to resist, but Trabzonspor are being strong favourites without doubt.

Besiktas has won 2022 Super Cup through penalties.

Besiktas has won Turkish Super Cup 2022 with getting win following penalty kicks with 4:2 scoreline following 1:1 score at 120 minutes and to some extend getting triple from previous season.

It needs to be noted that Besiktas did provide two different halves at 90 minutes as it been side which dominated game for first half and did lose tempo during 2nd half and even more on extra-time. However, what brought win for Besiktas has been much more effective taking of penalty kicks during that period with Ersin Destanoglu saving important shot on 2nd penalty. To some extend, Atiba Hutchinson has been player which did show performance which did bring dominate storeline of the game with scoring on 34th minute and also scoring own goal on 74th minute during playing position from Gural Vural. Only issue from winning this title is being clear that Besiktas didnt show full high tempo for 90 minutes which could be affected on Super League.

Antalyaspor needs to be stated didnt provide high tempo game on 1st half letting for opponent to be side to control game and didnt look like side which could turn around game but game did change entirely on 2nd half with Antalyaspor showing high tempo with Besiktas being side to be losing which led to high amount of positions with leading for Hutchinson to be making mistake from Guray Vural. With lacking last touches, Antalyaspor did show effective game which led for them to get tired for extratime as it show some crucial tiredness which did look even more on penalties.

Besiktas did get important title with to some extend ending previous season with triple and would get some motivation for upcoming games.

TFF has revised some rules regarding of entrance to the stadiums due of Covid 19 Omicron rapid current spreading in Turkey, stating that supporters who didnt get boost jab following 180 days of being sick from Covid19 will not be allowed to stadiums.

With rise of daily Covid19 cases being doubled in less then weel, Turkish community is currently being focussed into how keep number of cases into control without returning to strict restrictions and lockdown. One of the attempts has been at the stadium, calling supporters to be getting boost jabs including ones who did suffer from virus with calling every supporter who has recovered in 180 day to get boost jab or otherwise it would not be allowed into stadiums. Without doubt, this decision would be interesting to see how it would affect into number of supporters in the stadiums and also how effective would be to prevent rise of cases among supporters.

Meanwhile, there are talks that TFF is currently discussing if start of 2nd half of season should be delayed due of high number of players being infected.

Besiktas does suffer a lot from Covid19.

2022 would be starting with Turkish Super Cup where previous season both Super League and Turkish Cup winners Besiktas would be meeting with Turkish Cup finalists Antalyaspor.

Besiktas meanwhile it needs to be noted has been among sides which been heavily affected from Covid19 variant Omicron as number of cases has been rise again in Turkey. With missing around 8 players, Besiktas does have some trouble with making ideal squad as it missing crucial starting 11 and high number of youth players would have opportunity to provide some performance and show themselves into technical staff with some players would be continuing for some weeks in the league. It would be interesting how those cases would affect to side performance during Super Cup final.

Normally, Besiktas would be seen as favourites with focus to start 2022 at high but Covid19 cases could provide issue to side.

Antalyaspor will come out to more ideal squad against Besiktas.

Even through 4 players would not be able to play due of Covid19 with 1 player getting positive test result and 3 being due of being with contract, there would be coming out with more closer ideal squad.

It needs to be noted that generally Antalyaspor has been coming out with more or less good results during recent weeks and would be coming with some good motivation and confidence which been come out with good recent performance with Nuri Sahin. Therefore, Antalyaspor will be coming out with strong confidence against Besiktas believing it would be coming out to the game with getting Cup as it would be with opportunity to play against opponent who would be coming out far from ideal squad.

Antalyaspor would be focussed to this game entirely and it would be interesting to see how their would be responding to weaker squad of opponent.

Covid19 is starting spreading again in Turkish football and whole country

Covid19 variant Omicron stop showing some serious rise of case in Turkey and has been affected once again to Turkish players as we start getting some positive test results.

There were reported cases with Besiktas and Galatasaray players and also Fenerbahce CEO Ali Koc and with looking into Covid19 Omicron variant has affected English Premier League it is being very important for Super League sides to once again provide some serious attention to this virus as it is being unlikely for TFF to stop league unless situation gets once again very critical again for sure. With cases rising following New Year celebration, with players without doubt being more or less active during this days it would be expected for number of cases to rise in those days but it is important for players and clubs to prevent more spread.

Sadly, we are experiencing some deja vu with Covid19 and football community needs to take messures seriously again.

One of the long-term question during recent period has been about which national side would Kadioglu be competing as he did have options to play for also Holland and Canada. Its been known that both his club and TFF were trying to convince without pushing too much Kadioglu to choose Turkey, while player himself been adapted to this country which without doubt did affect his final decision to be choosing Turkey and hence he made such decision informing TFF with process likely to be started in upcoming days.

Altay has terminated contract with Scuk

Altay has terminated contract with its player Jasmin Scuk as he didnt play for the side since team been promoted to Super League as he been out of squad.

Without this been one of the most anticipated decisions at the side as he hardly did get playing time and in fact has been in his own country where he personally continued his training sessions and only been in the club for possible transfer which didnt take place to other club. Therefore, this decision to some extend would open doors for both parties with Altay possibly looking for player in his place while Scuk could more easier for new club.

Our accounts would see how this termination would affect club's transfer option.

Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor are interested to sign Hatayspor player Samuel Adekugbe

Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor are interested to tranfer Hatayspor player Samuel Adekugbe as he is being one of the key players in the side durign this 2 seasons.

Without doubt, Adekugbe has been one of the most successful players in Hatayspor during recent years with helping side to be getting some impressive results at the Super League during that period. Therefore, it should be suprising that Trabzonspor and Fenerbahce are showing interest with player as his addition could provide important strength to top clubs.

While this being rumour or page would follow developments in this matter in our posts.

St.Etienne and Hertha Berlin interested to sign Marcel Tisserand.

St.Etienne and Hertha Berlin are interested to transfer Fenerbahce player Marcel Tisserand.

Fenerbahce is being unsatisfied with performance of Tisserand since he joined side as he did show unstable performance in the club and hence time would show if he would be sold to other club with good deal. With side hardly getting offers for him, Fenerbahce would treat development of interest from St.Etienne and Hertha Berlin as good news with side would eb waiting for best offer from them. Without doubt, Tisserand would likely be willing to leave as for various reason he didnt show his likely best game.

With Fenerbahce considering to sell Tisserand, our page would follow this developments for this mid-season window.

What happened in Turkish football in 2021? 01/01/2022

Turkey did fail 2022 when looking in the fall.

Despite of the fact that Turkish National Team went into rise towards end of the year with Stefan Kuntz, it does need to be mentioned that 2021 has been failure for side.

Without doubt, most result which proves this is being performance at Euro 2020, where Turkey without doubt has been one of the most poorly performesd sides when looking at expectation and realisation from side as they show slow passive game which led them to get one goal and hardly into position. Add to this losing to Holland with 6:1 scoreline at World Cup 2022 Qualifiers against Holland does prove by itself into how poor performance they provided with Senol Gunes. Only good news is that it went into better performance with Stefan Kuntz.

Turkey still has chance to get to World Cup 2022 as it would be playing playoff stage but it needs to go through Italy and likely Portugal afterwards at this stage.

Fenerbahce continues to dissapoint.

Without doubt, Fenerbahce has been one of the most dissapointing sides at the 2021 as it led supporters to be highly dissapointed and likely will end current season without title.

One of the main reason has been on-going circulation of referees with Emre Belozoglu been sending away even with having not bad record but losing title when playing against Sivasspor in penultimate week of previous season. Following joining of Vitor Pereira as new head coach, he did show good start but due of not much alternative options of him didnt let to get results which they want. But still poor organisation of Ali Koc did provide some drop of performance to side.

Without doubt, 2022 needs to be very successful for side as amount would be only rising.

Basaksehirspor did dissapoint for most amount of year

With winning title on 2019-20 season, Basaksehirspor did provide pretty poor season even its ending wasnt so bad.

End of previos season for Basaksehirspor and not such great start for them in current one does provide that side is not having which it was seeking for without providing too much pressure in their games, with Okan Buruk not showing similar performance which he did when winning title. Only positive note that Emre Belozoglu has changed entirely and with him side ends with good record and if continues like this could be one of the sides to watch in 2022.

Basaksehirspor last 2 season didnt go as planned but 2022 in overall could be turn around pretty well with Emre Belozoglu being coach.
