Trabzonspor has shown historical comeback against Gaziantep
Trabzonspor has shown an incredible comeback during game against Gaziantep as it managed to turn around loss of 0:2 to 4:2 between 50th and 68th minute during which period Paul Onuachu has scored hat-trick.
It needs to be mentioned that Trabzonspor which does show unstable performance in recent weeks did have pretty poor start of the game as it didnt provide much control and pressure of the game during 2nd half which led for them to show strong and dominant game. Without doubt with getting behind with 2:0 scoreline and not providing any positive signs after 1st half, Abdullah Avci very likely did have pretty heated conversation and with making some changes in the squad, Trabzonspor did have much better start of 2nd half with creating back-to-back chances which led for side to find 4 goals in duration of 20 minutes and with Onuachu scoring 4 goals which did prove himself his crucial role at the team after some absence of not being at the team.
Gaziantep on their part did have very good 1st half with creating some good chances but couldnt provide any resistance of fast paced game of Trabzonspor and at the end is being 1 point ahead at worst for next 25 hours.
Trabzonspor hence did get an important win as it point difference with 4th place Basaksehirspor to 6 points with 4 weeks left at the league and did get an important calmness for last games.
Fenerbahce keeps believing for title after win against Besiktas.
Fenerbahce has kept 4 point difference with league leaders Galatasaray as 4 weeks are left until end of the season with a win against Besiktas at home and kept its title chances alive.
Following unexpected loss of two points to Sivasspor in previous week, Fenerbahce did need to send strong message that it is still focussed for getting title in the end of the season and best game which it could be doing so would been at derby game against Besiktas. It could be argued that Fenerbahce did provide its best performance, but it was visible that it did play for a win and fast start to the game did make it clear as it found an opening goal at 30th minute following 5 minutes of red card from Al Musrati. Meanwhile, with taking account that Fenerbahce would play against Galatasaray at penultimate week, Fenerbahce would need to keep its focus at high note as Galatasaray might get unexpected point loss and hence it needs to stay focussed so it would not be sorry for losing points.
Fenerbahce aim to win title is being difficult as it awaits loss of points from Galatasaray but it is still possible aim to achieve as long as team believes it can get title.
Besiktas completes season with losing all derbies.
Besiktas carried its poor performance of this season with loss to Fenerbahce as it did lose all of the derby games during this season and didnt provide much positive performance for 90 minutes.
There might be argument that red card did affect outcome of result as could be seen from minutes but it needs to be mentioned that Fenerbahce did look to be much more willing and fighting spirit when game was 11-on-11 so its hard to state that at least Besiktas would get an upper hand of this game. Performance of the team should be stated does provide whole performance of this season and aim for 3rd spot at the table does seem to be difficult task to achieve as it might lose even European spot when looking at the league performance.
Besiktas didnt provide strong performance against Fenerbahce as it didnt during whole season and for sure team awaits when season would be over.
