Turkish Cup holders has eliminated Trabzonspor at last 16 stage.
Turkish Cup holders Konyaspor has managed to eliminate Trabzonspor during competition last 16 stage 2nd leg game with 2:1 aggregate scoreline despite of having some worrying minutes at last minutes as Hugo Rodallega has provided 1:1 scoreline at 80th minute at today's game.
It needs to be stated that this blog has foresee prior to game that Trabzonspor would be providing an attacking game from kick-off the game with aiming to turn around its deficit from 1:0 loss during 1st leg game but it did provide pretty poor performance without controlling ball and not getting into high number of dangerous chances during game. With Trabzonspor having lots of aims for 2nd half of the season, which includes Turkish Cup it did provide surprising performance apart of last minutes of the game. Fenerbahce has provided very economical game against Istanbulspor as expected during Turkish Cup last 16 2nd leg game with having an advantage of 2:0 scoreline from previous game and with a goal from Giuliano at the last minute has continued winning spirit at the team.
Fenerbahce didnt provide its attacking football which was expected from them during last weeks of the Super League performance and has decided to play calm game with being aware that it has qualified to the quarter-final due of quality factor between sides. However, even through Fenerbahce has mainly focussed to the defensive game it did provide lots of mistakes against Istanbulspor which did provide some worrying image in defensive wise as Istanbulspor lack of finding of goal chances during game which has led for them not to find goal. Besiktas would come out to Osmanlispor game at Turkish Cup last 16 2nd leg with confidence from 1st leg.
Besiktas is going to start its 2018 year, with 2nd leg of Turkish Cup last 16 2nd leg game against Osmanlispor which it has won with comfortable scoreline of 4:1 during 1st leg and would be aiming to start year with win as it has high aims for rest of the season.
As it was remembered, Besiktas has managed to get an comfortable win during 1st leg game at the game where it was expected to have some trouble and would now play its 2nd leg in Ankara with confidence and would allow Senol Gunes to check his teams youth players and ones who didnt manage to provide lots of playing time during this season so far.
