Trabzonspor and Rizespor showed great attacking game despite of heavy rain.

Trabzonspor has provided strong attacking game during Super League at Black Sea derby game against despite of heavy rain which took place for most amount of time even through it needs to be noted that opponent also shown great performance.

Even through heavy rain did affect to the field especially during 2nd half, both teams has managed to provide strong and attacking performance which both sides provided game to win it. It could be stated that Trabzonspor didnt provide much performance during 1st half with Rizespor finding goal and getting some chances, it has improved with going much forward during 2nd half. Meanwhile, Daniel Sturridge great assist to Sorloth and also raising whole team performance when he entered did show that he would be able to affect to the performance and hence shown he would be useful for this season in upcoming games. Even through Trabzonspor slightly criticised with having drop, it is now at strong raise with performance and results once again reminding that during this season it would be one of the main competitors for league title. Trabzonspor it needs to be one of the few teams in the league so far this season which provides confident attacking football with dominant game.

With taking with how this league has been developing so far for both clubs it was expected that
Besiktas could be struggling and have felt huge pressure behind its back which would affect to their performance for this game. Alanyaspor on their hand, at least from this game started showing some decline and possibly pressure from being leaders which mediocre which never has experienced this would been felt with teams which never experienced that in its history.It didnt provide much attacking game with providing pressure today.

Besiktas got very important win and would now seek to provide regular basis game which it did show after 51st minute and get further from game before that.

Galatasaray needs to find solution for such poor performance.

Galatasaray has provided pretty dissapointing performance during Super League as it has drawn against last placed team Genclerbirligi with 0:0 scoreline and has provided pretty boring and dissapointing performance ending with only 3 shots on target.

Following game, Galatasaray head coach Fatih Terim has also shown his dissapointment with such performance stating that he will not accept performance and if team would lose it would lose with fighting spirit. Galatasaray carries on having poor attacking game.

Galatasaray carries on providing pretty poor performance at the Super League as it has drawn for 3 weeks back to back this time ending with goalless draw against team which is currently located at the last place with failing to provide any impressive performance in attack.

Galatasaray in fact has lost strong opportunity to raise up in the standings in the table and passing Fenerbahce which has lost game yesterday but losing points when your main opponents lose points in same week has been one of the weaknesses. It needs to be admitted that Galatasaray for most amount of the game has been one who has controlled game and creating chances but it couldnt right get amount of the chances to get crucial win. This game in fact did provide view that it carries on having poor attackers who among not being able to convert chances but also have serious problem with providing high amount of the chances. Even with Genclerbirligi recieving red card, Galatasaray players couldnt use advantage and carried showing passive slow game. This issue should not be only given to Falcao as team had similar issue. Hence, Galatasaray needs to solve this issue during international team break.

Genclerbirligi meanwhile being at last place has provided strong performance against strong opponents and has created many chances and would get important chances for upcoming weeks.

Fenerbahce couldnt pass Antalyaspor defence.

Fenerbahce couldnt pass very organised Antalyaspor defence.

Turkish Super League 7th week game has been started with unexpected result as Fenerbahce has lost to Antalyaspor with 1:0 scoreline, even through Fenerbahce has been one who was creating chances but couldnt pass opponent strong defence play.

It needs to be noted that when looking at the game Fenerbahce has been concentrated to get a win as it provided strong offensive game but couldnt pass strong Antalyaspor defence. It needs to be noted that with conceding on 6th minute from Antalyaspor counter-attack led for Ufuk Akyol to be on-on-one which has led to find goal where goalkeeper Altay Bayindir couldnt do much. Besiktas carries on showing poor performance.

Besiktas carries on getting unsatisfactorily outcomes as it lost this time to Wolves during Europa League 2nd week game as it has conceded goal during last minute of the game. With such outcome, Besiktas still has 0 points and in difficulty to qualify to knockout stages.

Galatasaray showed great game but needs to improve attacking game.

Galatasaray despite of losing to PSG during Champions League Group A 2nd week game with 1:0 scoreline, did show reasonable well performance especially at defensive and also strong performance from Muslera.

With taking account that PSG were coming to the game as strong favourites for the game it was quite natural to see them showing more attacking game which their managed to show in beginning of the game if their found an early goal things would be different. As game has progressed Galatasaray on their own side has started showing much better organised game in midfield and defence not allowing for PSG to take control of the ball. Stating that, due of quality of experience it French side was still who has been showing strong calm game. Stating that it still could be stated that attackingly Galatasaray are showing dissapointing performance without having any dangerous attacks with Falcao once again being unseen at performance wise. Still, being fully concentrated during game would be positively aspect and does provide some positive aspects for upcoming games.

Galatasaray did provide its best performance during this season but still needs to improve as side with attacking performances especially manage to use Falcao with maximum performance.

Besiktas needs to become as one and show top game against Wolves

With Besiktas going through difficult time both at administative and performance wise it would be coming to an important Europa League game against English side Wolves which it needs to win to keep chances for knockout stages.

Besiktas certainly needs to show huge reaction to this game as it needs to provide much better performance at this game prior to previous games as it has below its standards and hence finds itself at relegation zone. What happened in Turkish football today? 01/10/2019

Galatasaray did show good organised game despite losing to PSG.

Galatasaray did provide pretty impressive and strong performance during Champions League Group A 2nd week game against PSG despite of losing with 1:0 scoreline and have shown great tactical performance after 20th minute.

In all fairness only downside from today's game shown by Galatasaray has been poor start of the game at which period it didnt provide any strong performance tactically and hence has led opponent to have high amount of the chances. In fact, it could be stated that it was partly lucky and partly needs to thank Muslera saves. However, from 15-20th minute Galatasaray has started into getting at the right focus and slowly started to prevent PSG to go forward and create chances. It was seen during game as whole of course that PSG has created many chances and quality factor but Galatasaray did show that its not hugely behind of performance. It did show some organised moments and has managed to control game with leading game with 0:0 scoreline and 1:0 scoreline after period. In overall, possibly Galatasaray has shown its best performance during this season as it shown organised well-planned game after having control and even through winning game would be too much, but it did deserve draw with this performance.

PSG meanwhile didnt use their opportunity at first minutes as it managed to score it would be able to carry on controlling game but even when game was balanced it show its quality and got huge advantage to get out from group with 2 wins.

Galatasaray did provide some positive performance against and with Real Madrid losing 5 points so far it can technically aim for 2nd place and this good performance could affect for rest of season.

TFF has terminated contract of referee Suat Arslanboga

TFF following its administrative meeting has made suprising and unexpected decision for terminating contract with its referee Suat Arslanboga via suggestion it has recieved from Central Referee Committee.

It is true that referees has been fully criticised during this season and Suat Arslanboga has been among them especially during Super League 5th week game against Rizespor where he showed very bad performance. Despite of that it is still surprising that decision has been made and does raise question if it was decided to terminate contract due of his performance during that game or there are some behind the scenes stories which we are not informed about. Without doubt, any issues which were happening were not known to Turkish media as it treated this announcement with big shock. There is also possibility of course that Suat Arslanboga has resigned from his position and provided to referee committee which has accepted it.

Whatever reason for his contract to be terminated information should be given publicly and known what happened.

TFF has declined complaints Ankaragucu and Fenerbahce to repeat games.

TFF during same meeting has made decision regarding of Ankaragucu to repeat Super League game against Fenerbahce on 5th week and also Fenerbahce request to repeat 4th week game against Alanyaspor complaing for breaking rules with decision not to repeat game.

In statement TFF has rightly stated that there wasnt any foul doing during game and no rules has been broken as our blog has stated beforehand. This decision it needs to be noted does acknoledge that this vague and hopefully complaints will not be accepted as both touches in two different games has been done are legimate and so is Papiss Cisse goal with Fenerbahce game. This decision would surely also reduce chances for team to provide complaints in similar manner in near future as if it did repeat games we could be seen similar complaints in regular aspects for sure. From now on teams would provide similar complaints in more clear manner when rule has been broken in more clear manner and not to gain points from administrators.

Besiktas is at crises and its getting worser for them.

Besiktas carries on providing pretty poor performance during this season as it has ended 6th week at the relegation zone losing to one of its historical opponents Trabzonspor with 4:1 scoreline.

It needs to be noted that in this league, especially during derby games, we have seen big teams losing with humiliating scoreline but showing good performance during whole season. But apart of outcome of this game it is observed that Besiktas carries on providing poor performance and serious issues with showing strong and attacking, in fact any attacking game. Starting from his appointmnet did question if Abdullah Avci, still good coach in all fairness, is capable to coach team whose main aim to get into league title. There was argument that with Basaksehirspor he was at title race, but he didnt get title especially with huge advantage last season. Talks for him to leave, especially after yesterday game are getting louder and louder. It does look like therefore that next week game against Alanyaspor, leaders of the league, would be crucial one where apart of result, it would be given attention how team performs, even through Wolves game might be where decision to be made.

Apart of aiming to show its own football, it has been seen that Trabzonspor has been aware of Besiktas and has treated that game in such manner providing organised and fast-paced performance. Without doubt, Trabzonspor which also been seen as team not providing its best performance so far this season would be able to provide top games against Basel and get a win which would allow them to get calmer control at the tournament after losing to Getafe. Therefore, it is crucial for team to show similar performance at that game.

Galatasaray has almost no chance against PSG sadly.

Sadly, prior to Champions League Group A game between Galatasaray and PSG it is hard to state any positive aspects for game as it would be playing against team which it would been strong underdog even if it had great season.

Adding to that that Galatasaray is having worst start of the season for last 9 years does make chances for them even low than PSG. Of course, its football and its open for surprising result buth it was seen that PSG and Real Madrid would easily get 12 points in this group. It needs to be noted that Radamel Falcao who didnt fullfill his performance both with his own effort and his teammates might be differently motivated for this game due of being big club but still he is below his performance.
Galatasaray of course need to treat game believing it can win and provide strong defensive game and good transition, issue which it had this season until now. In fact waiting for win, could not be with most fans but at least team need to seek positive game which would provide some promises for rest of the season.

Galatasaray are having poor performance and for motivation needs to win game even against poor team and getting PSG is bad timing fully.
