Genclerbirligi CEO Murat Cavcav has been reelected as club's CEO.
Genclebirligi CEO Murat Cavcav has been reelected as club's CEO once again with 371 votes as he ran as single candidate as club has enjoyed getting back to the Super League after 1 year absence and has provided opportunity to make themselves once again amblems of league.
Murat Cavcav, who is also being son of legendary club CEO Ilhan Cavcav, has been at this position when club has relegated on previous season but he has managed to make team once again stronger and help team to get promoted with very good season at lower league and would be aiming to make team which would provide pretty strong and confident performance. Stating that and as it case for all clubs, he would have some financial difficulties at the team and would need to make transfers during this summer transfer window with minumum budget and also could give an opportunity to aim to provide some investment to the academy which is among main topics at Turkish football right now. Murat Cavcav had some bad days and good days and would be willing to have his 2nd period in more successful performance.
Murat Cavcav without doubt would aim to provide high level performance of his team during next season and would do everything to achieve that.
Summer transfer window expects to be also quiet this year.
Summer transfer window would be starting in Turkey from 17th June and will take place until 2nd September, as there is also expectations that it could be quiet window taking account with transfer rumours amount and also financial issues of clubs.
Due of economical issues and also FFP issues with UEFA, Turkish teams in recent years has an issue at making high amount of transfers and mainly aim to get either lower price players or loans, and this trend would be able to continue. With some clubs, especially top 4 clubs, aiming to make much more stronger team for next season, it does raise questions regarding of financial issue and amount of cash their hand on their disposal for sure. Therefore, sadly to some extend it would be expected for summer transfer window in Turkey to stay quiet and also mainly focussed with loaning players for some number of the seasons.
Stating that, this blog could also be wrong and we could see high number of transfers compare to lets say pretty quiet last summer transfer window in country.

With Martin Skrtel name being circulated at transfer front with some clubs during this summer, it has become known that Basaksehirspor are considering to offer 2-year contract as side does need some signings as it looks like it would be losing high amount of the players during this summer transfer window. Defence without doubt would be playing an important issue for Basaksehirspor and signing such a high level defender player would be able to push team forward.Once again this is being only rumour for now and our page as always would follow how this story would be developing.
Basaksehirspor does need good defender as been stated and if it manage to get Martin Skrtel it would be able to solve this issue in good manner.

Fenerbahce has transferred Murat Saglam for 3+1 years.
Fenerbahce has signed Wolfsburg player Murat Saglam for 3+1 years as it would be seen as strong investment for the future of the club due of young age of the player and also potential which he could have.
In fact, Fenerbahce as was remembered has provided similar transfer politics during last summer transfer window as it was focussed to transfer young players with some of them showing some posibility for the future and didnt have in all fairness negative impact for poor performance of last season. This transfer can provide lots of advantages for Fenerbahce as it could mean that team would get a potential star for upcoming years and also could sell him in future for higher transfer fee. Stating that it is still crucial for Fenerbahce to make high number of quality transfers during summer transfer window if it want to aim for high aims.
It is important still to focus into youth players of course at the Fenerbahce and it would be expected to carry on making those transfers this summer.
Alanyaspor has transferred Anastios Bakasitios for 3 years.
Alanyaspor has been among early teams to make transfers during this summer transfer window as it managed to transfer AEK player Anastasios Bakasitios for 3 years.
Alanyaspor without doubt would be starting this season with high aims during upcoming season and to make this to happen it would be aiming to transfer some players and AEK player Anastisios Bakasitios is among players who is capable to get positive results for future of the club. There would be some high expectations regarding player without doubt and to achieve that the team would be pushing team into better quality team with such an addiiton without doubt but it needs to be stated that team would need to make similar transfers in upcoming weeks.
Alanyaspor would now need to make stronger and high quality team for next season and without doubt it would be aiming to do so and signing Bakasitios is 1st sign of this.
Sivasspor signs Troyes player Mamadou Samassa.
Sivasspor has transferred Troyes goalkeeper Mamadou Samassa with an aim to make main goalkeeper of the team and solve some goalkeeping issues which it could be having next season.
Taking account also financial issues it could be stated that this transfer could be very effective for
Sivasspor as despite of being goalkeeper of lower division, as a player he has shown some good performance during last season at Troyes and has all reasons to provide high level performance at Sivasspor during next season. Sivasspor as a team does have some potentiality but as known it is also important to have high level goalkeepers at its hand and signing of Samassa could solve this issue without doubt. Surely, administrators would have high hopes for him next season.
Time would show if he would fulfill this expectations but he is suitable to keep this team at top half during next season.

Besiktas has made deal with Ertac Ozbir for 1+1 years.
Besiktas has made transfer deal with Yeni Malatyaspor player Ertac Ozbir for 1+1 years after Ozbir did have some good performance during last season and has helped his team to get Europa League spot.
One of the main aims for this summer transfer window for Besiktas is to get good goalkeeper for next season and among players which are available right now, Ertac Ozbir seems to be great option. It is reported that Besiktas has made transfer deal with Ozbir for 1+1 year contract for 750,000 euro salary. Player can be great alternative for Lorius Karius for upcoming season and also provide high level performance and become main goalkeeper when Karius contract would be over. It is reported that Besiktas would now have strong negotiations with Yeni Malatyaspor and it would be curious if it
would be able to make deal with club at the end of the summer transfer window.
If Besiktas manages to make deal with Ertac Ozbir at the end of the season it could be good signing for club without doubt and able to have good alternative for Lorius Karius.
Trabzonspor once again stated it would not sell Yusuf Yazici and Abdulkadir Omur.
Trabzonspor CEO Ahmet Agaoglu has stated once again that he has no intentions to sell Yusuf Yazici and Abdulkadir Omur during this summer transfer window and that this conversations has been closed.
With high number of talks about European clubs showing strong interest with those two players for next season, it is known also that both players doesnt have much interest to live team during this summer transfer window. Despite of all statements and as been mentioned several times at our blog, it would be expected for those European clubs, among them being giants, would be carry on having transfer negotiations with clubs and players and might get those two players with high salary and transfer fee but it does look that it would be pretty tough to achieve that at the end of the season.
Trabzonspor seem to be reluctant and task to convince club and players during this summer could be tough one but there are high aims that this conversations and rumours will not end even if Ahmet Agaoglu states it would.
Galatasaray are interested to transfer Ever Banega.
Galatasaray transfer talks with Ever Banega carries on and their are possibilities that it could be able to make deal with player but it would be still be difficult with Sevilla to make deal.
For now, it does look like even through clubs are having numerous transfer negotiations, their do have troubles at making finalised transfer deals for mainly monetarily issues. It is known that Galatasaray are having strong interest with Banega and even talks that player wants to join team but Super League champions do have difficulty to convince Sevilla to sell him to them. The talks are very likely to carry on between those sides and it might end in good deal, but for that Galatasaray would likely to sell some players this summer.
Ever Banega would be good addition to Galatasaray but it does look to be pretty complicated and will move team to go ahead at league and more importantly at Galatasaray.

Turkey is showing good performance at Euro 2020 qualifiers apart of Iceland game.
Turkish National Team had a mixture performance during this period of Euro 2020 qualifiers as it has shown very good performance against France and total difference performance against Iceland.
Due of number of circumstances which led for Turkey to show weaker performance against Iceland, it needs to be noted that factor of concentration and level of opponent has also played an important role. Sadly, following great start with Senol Gunes head coach as it has won 5 games back-to-back including friendlies, it has provided similar performance during Iceland game. Still, it needs to be admitted that Turkey has provided some positive viewpoint and aspects during this period but it was crucial for to get at least 1 point against Iceland. Still, this team is capable to show much better performance at home ground during return game but it is important to win all games left except of France as it could be hard to achieve in realistic manner. Turkey should learn some mistakes from Iceland game and mainly focus to show high level performance in rest of games as it did against France.
Turkish National Team apart of Iceland game it needs to be stated has provided good performance during Euro 2020 qualifiers campaign and aim to show good performance in upcoming games.
Kasimpasa has once again appointed Kemal Ozdes as club's head coach.
Kasimpasa has appointed Kemal Ozdes as it club head coach for 3rd time at short period of time as it had difficulty at making any deals with other head coaches.
It does need to be stated that during all of the stays during last seasons Kemal Ozdes did show great performance and in fact it was pretty unclear why he was sacked at 1st place during last season. With such unfair sacking of him at the end of the last season in fact, it could be seen a surprise that he has returned to Kasimpasa. It is just important for Kemal Ozdes to give full focus for this position once again and show that he is suitable for this position once again and move team to possibly European spot positions for next season. As always it is important to get needed players he would need to achieve that aim and get good support from administrators.
Kasimpasa did return once again with appointing its head coach Kemal Ozdes and would be aiming to see good days with new head coach for next season.
Fenerbahce has made deal with Fejsa for 3 years.
Fenerbahce has made a deal with Benfica Bjomir Fejsa for 3 years with 1.7 million euro for 3 million euro transfer fee as club had one-on-one transfer negotiations despite of the fact that Fejsa he would like to stay at his club.
Final deal its needs to be noted didnt make between sides but both sides are very close to make this deal and all of the factors which has been talked above does been circulate at the media right now. It is reported that Fejsa manager has been arrived to Istanbul on day before to have talks with Fenerbahce about transfer deal and are very close to make deal. Interesting factor of this story however is that player did state only few days that he doesnt want to leave Benfica so this story could recieve some turns in upcoming days as Fenerbahce aims to make its 1st transfer with high quality player during this summer transfer window.
Without doubt, if Fenerbahce would be able to make this deal into reality than it would be make team stronger for next season with number of players to move team forward for next season.

Turkish National Team has been affected by outside issues prior to Iceland game.
Turkish National Team has provided totally different performances during game against Iceland compare to France as it has lost game with 2:1 scoreline and didnt show great performance until end of the game.
It needs to be admitted that events which took place during Reikjavik airport when Turkish National Team players has been under intense control prior has provided an additional tiredness and stress towards players as their had spend 7-8 hours in total. With also Turkey being highly affected by those events, it performance has also been transformed into mainly anger which led to many cards and also loss of concentration of the game. Positive aspects of the game has been that it did provide some positive performance by players at the end of the game with willingness to find chances back to back especially of introduction of Abdulkadir Omur and Yusuf Yazici has also effected positively towards end of the game and has provided some positive aspects. But in overall, Turkey has been pretty poor with its performance and has lacked to control game in similar manner as it did against France.
Turkish National Team didnt manage to provide high level performance against Iceland but it had some excuses due of circumstances prior to game.
Kasimpasa wants 12 million euro for Trezeguet.
Transfer negotiations with Galatasaray and Kasimpasa for Trezeguet transfer carries on as Kasimpasa has set transfer fee 12 million euro to which Galatasaray has provided an alternative offer.
It became clear that Galatasaray has offered its player Omer Bayram, Ahmet Calik and Mbiaye Diagne and also some bonusses but Kasimpasa has declined this offer as it is unhappy with such an offer and believes that Trezeguet does cost 12 million euro and a player worth of that. With financial issues with Galatasaray is having right now, it would be interesting how team would respond to this as it is known that it is pretty determined to get him for next season with high aims it has set both at the Super League and also Champions League. It does look that Galatasaray would carry on its best to purchase player at the end of this summer transfer window.
Kasimpasa seems to be pretty detirmened to sell its player for selling with less than 12 million and also other transfer offers it does give upper hand to club.
Trabzonspor are interested to transfer Emmanuel Adebayor.
Trabzonspor are interested to transfer Basaksehirspor player Emmanuel Adebayor as his club aims to sell him during this summer transfer window and this addition could make Trabzonspor into much strong side.
Emmanuel Adebayor despite of old age still can occassionally provide good performance and even through towards end of the last season he hardly got playing time, he still has managed to provide top level performance and so his addition and also relatively reasonable price could lead for Trabzonspor to get some playing time and also provide some lessons and motivation to younger players. However, obviously it needs to be mentioned that Adebayor would be unlikely playing high amount of game due of his physical condition and hence Trabzonspor needs to be aware of that when transferring for next season.
Trabzonspor addition of Emmanuel Adebayor could provide some positive aspects for club and could be good addition certainly for Black Sea sides.

Turkish National Team didnt manage to carry on top performance against Iceland.
It needs to be noted that events which took place at airport prior to Icelandic National Team, did provide negative impact to Turkish National Team Euro 2020 qualifiers game as team has been pretty far to repeat similar performance which it has shown during France game.
Turkish National Team didnt manage to get speed and performance level which it has shown against France and has lost its organising football which could be due of tiredness from travelling to Iceland, events at airport and also with injuries which team has included unwanted injury of Cengiz Under. Some people could state that events at airport should not be seen as excuse but we need to remember that players are not robots and are humans. It could be stated that Turkey didnt start its game in great game and didnt provide an intense game from start to an end and has only shown good performance towards end of the game where it did show some good positive signs and an attacking game. With this result all teams has got 9 points and does show that this group would be carried on with an intense fight for top 2 spots between those 2 teams and title race only is starting at this group stage without doubt.
Iceland meanwhile has once again has carried on being difficult opponent for Turkish National Team and has provide great start of the game with taking whole control of the game from start and has scored 2 goals in 1st half an hour and with this results has found themselves right into race for top 2 spots at the group.
With all 3 teams getting 9 points race for top 2 spots would become even more intense but Turkish National Team needs to analyse today's poor performance.
Basaksehirspor has appointed Okan Buruk as club's head coach for 2 years.
Basaksehirspor has announced its head coach as Okan Buruk during today's press conference as Buruk has shown great performance during last season at Rizespor and is capable to carry on high level performance at reasonable strong side.
It needs to be stated that for Okan Buruk this appointment would be big test at coaching career and also big aim as he would be aiming to win league title at the team which doesnt have any supporters but has all potentials to reach all those aims. It needs to be stated that even through Okan Buruk has shown raising performance in recent years as coach he didnt yet coach team which has highest spot aims and also with difficulties which he would experience at Basaksehirspor, it would be pretty difficult task to achieve for sure. Time of course would show if he would be achieving such an aim at his new club but in same time with last season performance he could get great results at Basaksehirspor.
For sure, Basaksehirspor administration would hope that it would achieve high level performance with Okan Buruk but he would be needing time to get positive results and needs to have some patience.
Gazisehir Gaziantep has made principal agreement with Sumudica.
Newly-promoted Gazisehir Gaziantep has made principal agreement with Marius Sumudica as Romanian head coach has good experience with this level of teams at the Super League.
With Gazisehir Gaziantep surprising sacking of its head coach Mehmet Altiparmak it has made pretty fast deal with Marius Sumudica for next season even through this is only principal agreement with some changes during both sides could be made prior to pre-season training camp taking place. It needs to be mentioned that main aim for Gazisehir Gaziantep main aim without doubt would be to keep at least at the Super League for next season and Sumudica with also adding some names during transfer window this summer is coach which is capable to do so as club would not like to be an "elevator" team for sure.
Marius Sumudica as coach could reach this aim with good experience and can even help team to get even better results which team would have in occassion.
Results:
UEFA Euro 2020 qualifiers, Group H, 4th week:
Iceland 2:1 Turkey
Andorra 0:4 France
Albania 2:0 Moldova

What happened in Turkish football today? 10/06/2019
Turkey are coming out as favourites against Iceland.
After managing to get an historical win against France at Euro 2020 qualifiers, Turkish National Team would be now meeting with Icelandic National Team with very high focus and motivation.
Turkish National Team head coach Senol Gunes meanwhile has become 1st coach in history of national football to get wins 5 wins back-to-back from starting his position which by itself shows how did national team transform with him after his appointment. It needs to be stated that this game would be specifically important for Turkey as a win against Iceland would certainly provide an entry to Euro 2020 with such a great beginning and could even now have focus for top position at the league even. However, this game more important as opportunity to get 6 points advantage over its main opponents for Euro 2020 spot Iceland. It is true that Turkey has been unlucky with Iceland during recent years but both Turkey are stronger right now while Iceland are not as same as their were for instance during Euro 2016.
Turkey would be coming out as strong favourite for this game and their need to be aware of that and carry on providing same game as their did during against France.
No need to make issue at airport at Iceland political
Meanwhile, factor which has been taken place prior to game at the airport where Iceland passport control has kept players for 2-hours and also has checked their packages for long time has been provided some anger from Turkish society.
In addition to, also an issue of toilet brush being used by Icelandic supporter towards Turkish National Team player Emre Belozoglu has been used as provocative action has also raised high tension. Stating that it needs to be stated that this incident in view of the blog has been overexerated a bit and even through this actions are not acceptable at all in any circumstances, providing such a political actions has once again shown over-reaction. Sadly, it needs to be stated that booing towards French National Team has also marked lots of anger and Turkey does need to respect other countries if it wants to be also felt respected by its opponents.
This issue is not acceptable as been stated but Turkey aims to raise this issue at higher notice than would be accepted is just being overdone.
Alanyaspor has appointed Erol Bulut for 1 season.
Alanyaspor who has ended contract with Sergen Yalcin during end of the last season, has appointed Erol Bulut as club's new head coach for 1 year as Bulut is capabable to raise this team into reasonable aims.
Without doubt, Alanyaspor would be aiming for next season to raise its level of performance and aim for top half of the table and it needs to be stated that Erol Bulut has achieved that with Yeni Malatyaspor during last season and hence is capable to raise performance level of Alanyaspor for next season. With being used at such level of football at Super League and working more or less with this kind of circumstances both with players and administrators, Bulut has all aspects to leave team getting positive results with Alanyaspor as he did with Yeni Malatyaspor. It is of course also for Alanyaspor to get high quality players during this summer transfer window which would aid for him to reach this performance level.
Erol Bulut as been mentioned has been right choice for Alanyaspor and as coach he would be able to move team ahead during next season.
