Fenerbahce has shown high level performance against Alanyaspor.

Fenerbahce has managed to win an important game against Alanyaspor with 3:0 scoreline and has reached to 44 points which is same points as league leaders Galatasaray with them having one game in hand.

However, most importantly Fenerbahce carries on its leadership fight with their rivals and also get high motivational boost prior to crucial Besiktas derby game next week. Fenerbahce has been shown high level control of the game from beginning and even through Alanyaspor has been side which to create dangerous chances, following that position and especially after Giuliano goal on 19th minute it has shown more control of ball. It could be stated that Fenerbahce starting from last week carries on showing great improvement as it was moving to this game that among motivation which was arleady pleasant at the team it has also got high motivation for upcoming games. It was also important for Giuliano who is been seen as one of the main goalscorer has found two goals which would raise his motivation and without trouble Fenerbahce does show an improvement in recent games.

Compare to Fenerbahce, Besiktas to some extend has even more important game prior to derby as their would meet difficult game against German giants Bayern Munich where Besiktas needs certainly to show their best game  ever for good score.

Galatasaray would aim improve their away games performance against Kasimpasa. 

Galatasaray would aim to regain its point difference leadership from Fenerbahce as it would be playing Super League 22nd week game against Kasimpasa where it would be also aim to improve its away game performance.

Besiktas focus wasnt into Konyaspor as their were thinking about Bayern game.

Besiktas carries on losing points prior to Champions League games as this time it has ended Super League 22nd week game against Besiktas as this loss of 2 points could affect directly to their hopes of staying at title race area.

Besiktas couldnt get to their highest tempo and control of the game as it has come out with strong rotation prior to Bayern Munich game which has led team to create low number of  chances among with mentally being at the Champions League game. As was stated, several times Besiktas is competing at three different fronts which are all needs to be given maximum performance. However, with players being mainly focussed into Champions League it has affected mental focus for Konyaspor game. Still, Atiba Hutchinson goal on 28th minute has provided some good signs for this but starting from towards end of 1st half Besiktas has reduced its tempo and hence slowly provided confidence to Konyaspor as game progressed. Konyaspor did provide good performance today without doubt, but it is important to note that Besiktas has been one to lose points with their lack of focus.

Dursun Ozbek plans to run for Galatasaray CEO election in May. 

Galatasaray ex-CEO Dursun Ozbek is reported to be planning to announce his CEO candidacy for club position for CEO election which would be taken place in May, despite of losing an election last month.

This could be seen as highly self-confidence and risky move by Dursun Ozbek if its true as he has been unpopular during end of his last reign as he became first CEO to lose an election while being at the position and he also recieves high number of the criticism from current administration led by Mustafa Cengiz. It is believed that Dursun Ozbek is considering to end some things which he didnt manage while being CEO and quite understandably would go to election with total different administration team. But for most importantly Dursun Ozbek should go into revision for his own  actions which he has done while being CEO last year as he is one to blame to lose his election. This is brave move but unlikely that he would be selected again.

Once again, this decision could be seen as brave and show how devoted his to club but coming to the club when he is been criticised and current CEO administration so far during good job could be seen as too early.

Konyaspor can provide surprise to Besiktas due of some circumstances.

Besiktas would have its last game prior to very important Champions League last 16 game against Bayern Munich as it would be meeting against Konyaspor during Super League 22nd week game where it would be able to test its strength and condition prior to such difficult game.

Besiktas as would be remembered during this season didnt manage to get good results on Fridays during this season especially with being case prior to Champions League game and taking account that Konyaspor are struggling, Besiktas players might be focussed mentally into Bayern Munich and rather than choosing games are very likely that their minds would be on that game. It needs to be noted however with Konyaspor getting some effective transfers during their mid-season period their are not an easy opponent as their were during 1st half as their had proven during game against Basaksehirspor. Ali Koc candidacy for Fenerbahce is getting stronger day-by -day

During late-night, as yesterday entry was getting published, 8 of the Fenerbahce Istanbul regional representatives of the team has stated that their are going for resignation and are supporting CEO candidate Ali Koc believing that Aziz Yildirim duration is over.

Meanwhile, Aziz Yildirim is celebrating 20-years of his reign at the team and looking retrospectivelly it needs to be stated that team has achieved high successes during this period. Winning 4 league titles, getting to quarter-final of Champions League, semi-final of Europa League and has raised volleyball and basketball sections of the club from 1stly making them strongest in Turkey and then among strongest in Europe. Without doubt his reign would be remembered with match-fixing accusations, court case and aftermath of this issue. However, everything needs a change and new blood and Ali Koc, member of one of the strongest business giants, Koc family (among known firms being Beko) has put his candidate. Ali Koc has been seen for long time as main candidate and has raised his popularity during match-fixing stage, in fact some time ago Aziz Yildirim has stated himself to see him as his successor one day.

Therefore, it does look the fight between Ali Koc and Aziz Yildirim would be taking place in June election but Ali Koc right now does seem to gaining an important position to make himself favourite.

Ricardo Quaresma has send complaint to FIFA about 350,000 euro disciplinary fines he recieved from Besiktas. 

Returning to Besiktas it has become clear today that its player Ricardo Quaresma would be sending complaint towards FIFA for 350,000 euro disciplinary fine which he has recieved from his team for undisciplinary actions.

During his period at Besiktas for 2,5 years, Ricardo Quaresma has recieved some number of yellow and red cards and also has shown some unsportive actions when being substituted which been mentioned for many times as actions for disrespect. As all clubs, and also following contract, Besiktas has provided them fines for all this which has summoned up to 350,000 euro. Now, as Besiktas has made statement themselves every player has legal right to send complaint to FIFA for cancellation of such fines. Stating that their is no crises at team with player, their cant stop this democratic right from player but can and would provide their defence. Without doubt Besiktas has been unhappy for such action but it would not be right to call this as big transfer between trouble.

Fenerbahce has send complaint for fixture timetable released by TFF.

Fenerbahce aims to send complaint towards Turkish Football Federation stating it is unhappy with schedule of their games as their would be playing against Akhisarspor in league after 2 days following Turkish Cup semi-final 1st leg game against Besiktas.

One of the defences of Fenerbahce is that their opponents would be playing their next days in minumum after 3 days which compare to them would allow them to get an extra day. There is talks of around that European clubs has more intense scheduling and its normal for them to play 2 games in one week which is rarity to the Super League teams and hence their complaint is not being effective for playing too much games. For instance, Besiktas does complain much about upcoming next 3 weeks schedule but it needs to be remembered that Bayern Munich would have similar scheduling and are not complaining about it from our knowledge. However, playing 2 games within 4 days is even too much and would not allow lots of time to prepare for game so to some extend Fenerbahce is right for complaint. Sadly, with knowing situation in Turkey there is high chance that this matter could be moved into different directions by other clubs such as by Besiktas.

The time would show what kind of decision would TFF make after such a complaint but it would be expected for them to make some changes in fixture list.

Galatasaray players didnt recieve salaries up to 7 months.

Economical situation which has been left at Galatasaray from its ex-CEO Dursun Ozbek has been among biggest talks still at the Turkish sports media with news that before Mustafa Cengiz number of players has been waiting for months to recieve their wages.

It was known that foreign players didnt recieve for 4 months and even through their could have left team according to contract their have decided to stay at team and play great game. What has become clear is that number of domestic players didnt recieve their wages for 7 months which makes situation even more problematic but again players show some goodwill. Galatasaray CEO Mustafa Cengiz has started paying those wages towards players and carry on doing so with aiming to end this debt to players in short period as possible. Mustafa Cengiz main priority after becoming CEO has been hence to solve those issues. Meanwhile, there are also news today that number of Turkish basketball players has been close to leave team due of same reasons but part of payments done which led for crises to be averted.

Galatasaray CEO Mustafa Cengiz does look like to have many issues to solve at clubs especially economically but it can be stated that until now he seems to be handling pretty well.

Karabukspor chances to stay at league are very low. 

One of the talking points right now has been if Karabukspor would be able to stay at the league or even fight for that spot until end of the season.

Even through their 9 points behinds 15th placed Antalyaspor which is even hard to achieve is still possible their economical situation and also performance does raise some questions. To some extend, losing to Basaksehirspor and Besiktas and other teams which are fighting for upper places is not too problematic regardless of scoreline, even through even 1 point would provide incredible confidence and motivation to a team. But its mainly important obviously how their compete with their opponents below, and in recent games their did show some hope for that. However, it is visible that Karabukspor motivation are at low as been observed against Besiktas and team has lack of focus and strength.

Therefore chances of Karabukspor to stay at the league are vague and not due of 9 point difference but situation team is at financially and confidence.

Galatasaray has gained leadership at Super League from 1st half performance.

Galatasaray has shown pretty dominating game during 1st half of the Super League 21st week game against Antalyaspor and with the help of those 45 minutes has managed to win game with 3:0 scoreline and regain its leadership at the Super League after 5 weeks.

Even through Galatasaray has shown great attacking game from start of the game, it needs to be stated that Antalyaspor has been especially poor during this game which doesnt allow them to look forward for rest of the season with high optimism. In addition, Galatasaray coming out to game with getting 2nd chance after previous game to regain leadership quite understandably has shown an attacking game seeking for goals. With Bafetembi Gomis being always a player for goal and also great team-wise performance from Garry Rodrigues and Sofiane Feghouli who has shown same speed at going to attacks as Gomis has led for a win. Only negative aspect which could be seen from Galatasaray is that their have shown too much calm football in 2nd half which could be explained due of 3:0 scoreline.

Galatasaray does now have an important game against Kasimpasa as top 3 is very close to each other and the team might even draw next week its leadership as their playing away game.

Basaksehirspor performance last 2 games shows that it start feeling pressure.

Basaksehirspor which has been seen one of the most team at form in during recent months has lost 5 points in last 2 weeks as it has drawn against Konyaspor and lost against Fenerbahce as its home with showing also performance drop.

It was stated during this season several times that this  team have higher opportunity for league title as it wont have same pressure as last season as it is now at familiar front. Cengiz Under is becoming star player of Roma. 

Watching at the performance Turkish players around Europe during 2018, it could be easily stated that until now for 2018 its been great year for Cengiz Under who has managed to score high level goals during last 3 weeks.

Players like Cengiz Under being young and also playing 1st time abroad, and at the big club like Roma would naturally have some adaptation period which would be affected to them. To some extend we seeing this right now happening to Cenk Tosun in Everton. Galatasaray has become new leaders with help from Gomis. 

Galatasaray has raised into leadership of the table with 13 weeks left at the Super League by beating Antalyaspor with 3:0 scoreline with huge help and good performance by team goalscorer Bafetembi Gomis.

After Fenerbahce has won Basaksehirspor at the game yesterday, Galatasaray had an opportunity to get into leadership and keep its 3 points advantage of Fenerbahce and turn out to be also winners from yesterday tie. Galatasaray has started game very clearly with this in mind with providing great confident and organised but same time attacking football. With Bafetembi Gomis scoring 2 goals almost back-to-back has led them to get an important win with later Feghouli setting score for 1st half and for tie. It needs to be stated that following result should not be treated as huge surprise as Galatasaray does show high level performance during this season at the home but its main issues has been away games, and hence Kasimpasa next week could be crucial for them even through their would stay in Istanbul which could turn into advantage.
