Besiktas will come out for one of the most important games of the season.

As the league is getting into last 5 games, leaders will play one of the toughest games against Akhisar Belediyespor which to some extend could decide if their can be champions of this season or not. Akhisar Belediyespor is among teams which are in good form and fighting for Europa League spot and hence among Galatasaray and Konyaspor are two tough games left for Besiktas at fixture.

Also playing this crucial game at away makes Besiktas tasks harder as it will not like to reduce its 5 point advantage which could bring unwanted stress to the team. In fact, Besiktas aims to win its next 3 games and raise league title in the game against Galatasaray and dont worry much about Fenerbahce. Akhisar Belediyespor meanwhile has shown it can be tough side for them as it had shown during game played earlier this season against Besiktas where Akhisar managed to win. Akhisar Belediyespor with the win last week meanwhile has got once again chance to get Europa League spot and if team wins tomorrow it could raise chances and motivation even more for them. Fenerbahce doesnt plan to extend contract with Caner Erkin.

The condition of the Fenerbahce player Caner Erkin carries on being uncertain as it seems that both team head coach Vitor Pereira and administrators did not forgive the player due of disrespectful behaviour prior to Galatasaray game last week towards Pereira.

Despite of the fact that Caner Erkin did send public apology through social sites, Fenerbahce doesnt seem to accept this apology and doesnt plan to extend contract with him this summer. There is arleady big interest to transfer Caner Erkin by Besiktas and overseas clubs with main club being interested is Inter Milan. It would be better option for Caner Erkin to move to Italy, as long as conditions of contract are satisfactorily for all three parties as it would allow him to improve as footballer and possibly get away from Turkish media which affected his personality lately due of personal life issues.

Caner Erkin is key player to Fenerbahce and hence such reaction by Vitor Pereira and administrators to the incident show that it is being much worser than we think if Fenerbahce does not  want to keep player at the team.

Mircea Lucescu is saviour which never came to save Turkish football

Whenever the big 4 teams are looking for head coach, name of current Shakhtar Donetsk head coach Mircea Lucescu pops up at the administrators and media. Right now there is strong news that Trabzonspor, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are interested to appoint him.

Lucescu has stated several times, and in fact this topic was mentioned at our blog, that he is angry of all this news popping up and it affects negatively to him, club and supporters of Ukrainian side. Even through Lucescu does give signs that he might consider leaving team after this season, he states clearly that is now focussed to this season and might consider transfers in the summer. All of this interest towards him in Turkey is due Lucescu coaching Galatasaray and Besiktas and making both teams champions hence love and admiration of Turkish adminsistrators, supporters and media towards him which been raised back then.

Since he left Turkey, Mircea Lucescu was treated in Turkish media as saviour who never came to save Turkish football.

Fenerbahce has got its motivation prior to last 5 games at the league.

Win against Konyaspor with 3:0 scoreline during Turkish Cup semi-final 1st leg game apart of letting Fenerbahce being very close to the final of the competition would also certainly affect team performance for the last 5 week games at the Super League.

Compare to 10 days ago Super League 28th week game against Konyaspor, Fenerbahce has better control of the game and had provided more attacking football with key players of the team providing better performance compare to previous game. With winning also Mersin IdmanYurdu with 4:1 scoreline at previous game, Fenerbahce right now is in great mood and will look forward for the crucial game against Trabzonspor on 24rd April at the Super League. It does look that despite of not much change at gameplay, team got an important motivation and focus to the league title even through the task is hard as it is behind 5 points from Besiktas.

Fenerbahce player Volkan Sen is currently providing great performance and does look to become key player at the team right now. It is important that player like Robin van Persie and Nani also carry on high performance.

Galatasaray performance at Turkish Cup is different compare to league.

It does look like Galatasaray and Fenerbahce will meet at the Turkish Cup final and we might get great cup final and end of the season in a great manner.

Besiktas player Denis Boyko wants to leave club. 

Besiktas goalkeeper Denis Boyko, according to rumours, is thinking to leave the club as he doesnt get enough play-time due of the form of the first goalkeeper Tolga Zengin. Main aim at first place to purchase Boyko is too provide to Zengin some pressure due of poor performance at the end of the 1st half games at season. Since Tolga has provided right reaction Boyko has lost chance to play games.

With being main goalkeeper at his previous club Dnipro it was hard to accept for Denis Boyko to be  the secondary role at the team and since he joined team he stated numerous times that his main aim at the team is to be first goalkeeper. Since Tolga Zengin rise of performance it became obvious that this would be hard to achieve. Galatasaray gets strong advantage to get to Turkish Cup final without much difficulty.

With the way how Galatasaray has performed at today's Turkish Cup 1st leg game against Rizespor and with comparing of recent performance at the Super League it could be comfortably stated that team is providing bigger focus to the cup as was expected.

Galatasaray has won game with 3:1 scoreline at the away game are very close to get to the final as long as it doesn't make needless mistakes during 2nd leg game in Istanbul. Galatasaray had control for the most of the time and with the help of Rizespor which was providing much weaker performance compare to league game 2 weeks ago, it had provided some help to the Galatasaray. Players at Galatasaray such as Yasin Oztekin, Emre Colak  with finding goals during the game has also provided good performance which has helped team to get an important win today. Despite of all this, it still can noticed that Galatasaray had difficulty at keeping tempo for all the game and has also lost speed drastically at some moments. In fact, 2nd goal of Galatasaray has come with 1 extra men even through after few minutes game went into 10-to-10.

Galatasaray are very close for the final of the Turkish Cup which is very important for them this season as it seems to be only chance for  them to go through 1-year ban from UEFA competitions. There is huge difference between performance at Turkish Cup compare to Super League and 2nd leg for Rizespor will not be easy at all.

Rizespor meanwhile has provided much poorer performance as was expected and for most of the time has allowed Galatasaray to control game. Chances to get to final for them are now very slim.

Fenerbahce becomes first team to beat Konyaspor in 2016.

Fenerbahce has managed to become first team to win Konyaspor in 2016 during Turkish Cup semi-final 1st leg game with a comfortable gameplay and score 3:0. Fenerbahce has shown big improvement at the game today and with this performance become strong contenders to get Turkish Cup and are ready for last 5 games at the Super League

After poor performance period of 3 games, Fenerbahce has managed to score 8 goals and concede one goal in the last 2 games and also raising performance at today's game with better control of ball and players providing more closer performance of their capacity during the game. Performance by Luis Nani especially, including his impressive free-kick goal was in the level which was expecting of him when he came to the team for first place in August. Despite of being 5 points behind Besiktas, Fenerbahce has also shown strong message to the followers in the Super League showing that performance wise their didnt give up yet. Konyaspor has provided good performance but compactible performance by Fenerbahce during game  has reduced chances for Konyaspor tonight.

Mario Gomez will make decision to stay in Besiktas or not on 9th May.

Besiktas player Mario Gomez, who is loaned from Fiorentina, according to contract between two clubs needed to make decision about if he is going to stay at the club or not on 21st April, however according to 2nd CEO of a club Ahmet Nur Cebi, Gomez has asked for extension of decision to 9th May.

There is huge expectation right now that Mario Gomez will stay at the club taking account that both are happy with him being at a team. Trabzonspor needs to start making plans for next season

Trabzonspor has carried on losing points with this time from Genclerbirligi during 29th week of the Super League game and carries on playing poor football only having strength to beating teams which are around relegation zone.

Trabzonspor has made statement today admitting that the team is performing poorly lately, stating that for last 3 years it didnt achieve any big successes. The main problem at the team, in the sense of performance wise, that players are mainly lacking motivation and therefore are not able to transform this to high performance. Surely main reason for this is the economical condition of the team and not availability of the club to pay at the time to the players. Trabzonspor is right now is surely is team without aims even through mathematically it has chance to get into Europa League, game yesterday shows that team doesnt have enough power and motivation to reach this aim. One thing is certain Trabzonspor needs to plan for next season and start thinking ways to make them stronger during the summer. Because thats the main thing which this club needs right now or it will continue unsuccessful results next year.

Decision to ending season with current head coach Hami Mandirali is right decision as it would affect negatively to team, players and relations with a team and Mandirali himself. But team does need to look for possible head coaches for next season right now.

Galatasaray mentally ready to  Turkish Cup semi-final but not so much physically.

It is known to wild footballing world at the Turkey that Galatasaray main focus of this season right now is getting Turkish Cup and it has last barrier to get to the final with playing against Rizespor at the 1st leg game tomorrow.

Galatasaray will provide its best football but poor performance at the league and motivation meltdown could provide negative affect to the team and even if team will play with different mindset physically its unclear how it will change its performance to the top level. Fenerbahce needs to carry on top football against Konyaspor.

Fenerbahce will once again have a chance to try to beat unbeatable Konyaspor at the Turkish Cup 1st leg semi-final game in the Konya but it will be once again difficult game as Konyaspor is known to set an eye to the final and also aims to end season without any loss.

Fenerbahce has got very good motivational boost with 4:1 win against Mersin IdmanYurdu at the league but this game is not that simple for them and might provide some damages to them with league getting into also its last corners. Even through some people might think that Fenerbahce could see this game as 2nd importance compare to the league, it would be naturally for Fenerbahce head coach Vitor Pereira to provide best foootball from his players and get positive results as winning would raise motivation prior to important league games. Fenerbahce needs to keep its motivation high and focus and good performance tommorow is good way to achieve that.

Trabzonspor chance for Europa League has left to the miracles.

Even through administrators of the Trabzonspor has stated that team would aim for 100% record at the end of the season, players seems to disagree with this as their have lost another game. This time damage was done from Genclerbirligi with confident score of 3:1.

Genclerbirligi has ended its task up to the 60th minute where it got leadership with 3:0 scoreline and controlling whole game, while Trabzonspor has perfomed performance of mediocre team which justifies its position at the league. It was stated at the group before that Galatasaray way of play seems to disagree with aims of administrators and similar could be stated for Trabzonspor. Taking account that following win Genclerbirligi has moved them to 9th place, it was once again observed that Trabzonspor has lost point to team which is at upper half of the league. Despite of the confident win against last-placed Mersin IdmanYurdu with 4:1 scoreline, Fenerbahce supporters has shown protest towards players during whole game. This could be due of the fact that firstly supporters are unhappy with how team is playing and also lost its belief that it will get league title this season.

Fenerbahce does not play much football which is suitable for them to become champions but their can improve with 5 games left at the league and also from motivation its gets from yesterday result. Extension of contract with Ismail Koybasi and Tolga Zengin is very important as both players are key players to the team both of duration being at the club and service their provided to the team. Fenerbahce got a motivation boost after confident win against struggling Mersin IdmanYurdu

Fenerbahce has got an important and comfortable win against struggling Mersin IdmanYurdu with 4:1 scoreline and has send strong message to everyone regarding its aims to get league title despite of being 5 points behind Besiktas.

Fenerbahce didnt particularly show great football in sense of performance but to get an important win with scoring 4 goals regardless who is the opponent was important for team. Taking account that it will play an important Turkish Cup semi-final 1st leg game with team at the form Konyaspor and carries on its title race with 5 games to go. One of the important notes which was noticed at the game was strong protest given by Fenerbahce fans towards its players and especially to the Robin van Persie and Diego Ribas due of their performance at the league. Coming to the game, Fenerbahce was also made easy by performance of Mersin IdmanYurdu had a very low motivation during the game and allowed the its opponents to get into many positions during the game.

It was important for Fenerbahce to get this win with such a comfortable manner as it was stated at yesterday's blog with comfortable win it would and did raise motivation and confidence with 5 weeks to go at the league despite of the protest made by supporters during the game.

Trabzonspor and Genclerbirligi game is open to any result.

Trabzonspor this week will play with another team which is having similar season to them and it is really unclear how it would perform at this game as it been struggling with teams above and around them in last weeks.

Trabzonspor is currently team without any aims and hence its performance is open to any result but as a team it wants to end season at high note and game like this especially before game against Fenerbahce are crucial for them. With having season which it always started with high targets, ending in that way will surely affect to motivation and psychology to players but their have once to be blamed. Besiktas gets important 3 points against struggling Sivasspor.

Besiktas has won an important game for its title race with a back-to-back goals, scored between 58th and 61st minutes, to the struggling Sivasspor and makes one step closer for the league title at this Super League season. It was not particularly easy game for Besiktas but with high tempo at the beginning of 2nd half of the game it has managed to end game with 2:1 scoreline.

Compare to previous game against Bursaspor at newly-opened Vodafone Arena, Besiktas has provided slower tempo game however with the goal from Mario Gomez and penalty goal by Ozaydin Ozyakup has helped team to get an important 3 points and prior to Fenerbahce game tomorrow has risen point difference to 8 points. However, today's game does show that Besiktas will have trouble at away games and will not get easier wins compare to home games where there is huge support of fans. Sivasspor during the game, especially at the first half has shown that it is aiming to get an important point/s from today's game and provided to Besiktas some tough moments but due of quality difference it didnt manage to get important point to make themselves close to secure despite of Aatif Chahechou last minute goal at the game.

With 5 games left at the Besiktas until league title, Besiktas has become one step closer to its ultimate aim against the team which needs points right now. Antalyaspor player Samuel Eto'o 2nd goal which was scored at 53rd minute has recieved lots of protest from Galatasaray as it being hand ball and has brought another mistake from the referee. After the game, Galatasaray player Fernando Muslera has stated that the team was playing against 17 players (11 Antalyaspor +6 referees) and has criticised also Samuel Eto'o for not providing fair-play by stating that he played hand ball. However, even through there was handball it would be unfair to state that this goal has affected scoreline taking account that Galatasaray has drawn once again to 2:2 after this goal. Galatasaray has once again provided performance where it was visible that it is lacking concentration and motivation.

Galatasaray will now play Turkish Cup semi-final 1st leg game against Rizespor on 20th April, the tournament which it seems to be focussed at. However, with poor performance in past weeks at the league it could affect negatively to the team at the cup also, especially since will play against Rizespor which also has set its target to the Turkish Cup this season.

Antalyaspor is among teams which are without targets right now but it showed that it wanted this game and has provided high motivational performance, winning another game against big 4. Comfortable win against Mersin IdmanYurdu would provide motivation to the Fenerbahce.
