Turkey has beaten Word Cup champions with 2:0 scoreline.

Turkish National Team without doubt has got an historical win against World Cup Champions, France during Euro 2020 qualifiers and among marking historical win has got 3 out of 3 without conceding goal.

As it is known, there wasnt high expectation against France prior to this game and best result which people could have expected for would be draw but Turkey has provided an incredible strong preparation for the game in all spheres which has provided this historical win. Without doubt great defensive game which has always been an issue for Turkey has provided incredible strong performance without allowing France to have shown any chances and also an attack of Turkey quite understandably forward seeking game had used its chances in very good and effective manner and has scored 2 goals. Without doubt different chapter should be open for great performance given especially by Merih Demirel and showing that how great game he is and proving why Juventus are close to transfer him. Turkey has deserved this win without doubt from start to an end and did get also very important advantage for Euro 2020 qualifiers.

Gazisehir Gaziantep has ended contract with its head coach Mehmet Altiparmak

Gazisehir Gaziantepspor has announced that it has terminated contract with its head coach Mehmet Altiparmak and has also joined into teams at ending contracts with coach which is responsible for moving team into  Super League.

This blog during all post-season period has always provided some negative aspects with ending contracts with coach who has moved team to Super League as it is believed that those coaches which is responsible for this success should be given some chance to show themselves at top league even if looked uncertain for that role. It needs to be stated however that if some deals are not made and agreements both for next season and transfer window than it could be seen normal. It needs to be also remembered that Gazisehir Gaziantep has reached into Super League with getting last spot of 1st league for play-off spot and only has shown great performance at play-off which could be also one of the reasons. Right now Gazisehir Gaziantep would need to find strong replacement which would be able to move team forward for next season.

Even through we do still believe that Altiparmak needed to stay at team for start of season at least their are could be good reasons why it was decided to end contract with him.

Besiktas has made deal with LASK Linz player Dogan Erdogan for 2 years. 

It is reported that Besiktas has made transfer deal with LASK Linz player Erdogan Dogan for 2 years with only 200,000 euro transfer fee.

It is reported that final word would be given by Abdullah Avci who is expected to give green light as club's administration has been interested to transfer player for number of the weeks right now. With being young player and only requesting 250,000 yearly salary with fee of 200,000 and also having great potentiality for Turkish football has played an important role for this decision to come up for Besiktas. Turkey needs to treat France game realistically but also with top performance.

Turkish National Team are going to resume Euro 2020 qualifiers with its most difficult game at this group stage as it would be playing against World Cup champions France at home ground where it would be coming as strong underdogs.

One of the main advantages mentally for this game is the factor that Turkish National Team head coach Senol Gunes is looking at the game at positive perspective stating that chances for beating France are not very high and main opponent would be against Iceland. What is important for Turkish National Team is to provide its best performance against France but be aware that chances are not very high, but it is as been mentioned is important for Turkey to show great game. With some big changes with Turkish National Team during Euro 2020 qualifiers earlier and friendlies team has provided much better and strong performance with focussed into attack which was also observed during Besiktas. With this in stance it could be strong to believe that Turkey would provide strong performance against France. It is important for Turkey to stay and show self-belief but aware that it can lose game and its not end of the world.

It became clear that Besiktas head coach Abdullah Avci doesnt consider to keep its player Ricardo Quaresma and sell player during this summer transfer window.

Adriano has agreed transfer deal with Sao Paulo.

It became clear that Sao Paulo has made transfer deal with Besiktas player Adriano as player has announced himself today that he would be moving to the team in upcoming days.

It was known that Adriano has been among players which Besiktas has been considering to sell during summer transfer window as player was getting too old and was also paid high salaries which club had an issue to pay. In fact, it was known that Adriano was also actively considering to leave team during this summer. With an option to return to his home country to Sao Paulo as due of his old age not much top European clubs would have interest with him has been good option as he could be focussing to end his career there so it has been good news for him also. So it would be without doubt win-win situation for both parties as Besiktas would be able to end contracts with player it is not interested and player to end his career at place where he would be feeling comfortable.

Yacine Brahimi demands for transfer has led Galatasaray to decline offer.  

Porto player Yacine Brahimi has provided pretty serious demands for signing contract with Galatasaray requesting 4-year contract with 4 million euro and also asking for 5 million euro for his manager.

Yacine Brahini without doubt has been among priorities among transfer window for this summer but with taking account of financial situation at the team it is looking to make those transfer deal including Brahini in most economical way as possible. Turkish National Team has completed its international friendlies period at great manner as it has also managed to win Greece and Uzbekistan, as it has won 2:0 against Uzbekistan game today with Zeki Celik has scored both goals.

Turkish National team as expected has dominated game from beginning  with Zeki Celik scoring both goals during game and has shown right performance focus and has shown signs that he wants to play against France and Iceland during Euro 2020 qualifiers. Turkey aims to keep its mood high as it would play against Uzbekistan.

After providing pretty good and in same time economical performance during international friendly game agaisnt Greece as preparation for France and Iceland, Turkish National Team would now focus into carry on checking its strength of its new players and get confidence as it would play against Uzbekistan.

Turkish National Team opponent this time, to all respect is much weaker and it would be expected that Turkey would get good win without providing too much effort and to some extend it could be criticised that it did choose wrong opponent prior to France and Iceland game. Stating that, this game would provide a good opportunity for Senol Gunes to check even more some new names at national team and youth players so this game still can provide an important information about this current squad. Once again, another important issue for Turkey is to aim to end game without injuries and dont have similar problem which it had with Cenk Tosun, as it is very important to come out with strong squad against France and Iceland.

Genclerbirligi are back to Super League after 1 season.

Genclerbirligi has been promoted to Super League as runners-up of 1st league in previous season with also providing similar performance as it did Denizlispor and have managed to comeback to top division after 1 season absence.

Genclerbirligi as would been remembered has provided pretty dissapointing performance and has been relegated from top league after becoming one of the main clubs in country and also main representative from capital city. But with its performance at 1st league it did manage to show strong comeback and has been concentrated to be at the top division as their did. Genclerbirligi needs to do some jobs for this summer if it want to mark good season and show that their belong to Super League.

Gazisehir Gaziantep has been promoted to top league 1st time in its history. 

Last but not least side which has been promoted to Super League has been Gazisehir Gaziantep who has taken 6th place at 1st division but has managed to get to the top division from play-off as it has beaten Hatayspor at final game.

Gazisehir Gaziantep would be only club during next season who would have its first season at top division at its history but it has been among sides which did show an improvement by each season and hence has deserved to be at Super League showing great character during whole season last year and also at play-off as by many it has seen as underdog during whole play-off. But with strong detirmanation it has managed to get into top league. Now it would need to be focussing into providing strong squad which would make them stay at top league next season.

Gazisehir Gaziantep would need to work with its squad if it wants to stay at top league more than 1 season and it needs to do many changes at side.

It was especially pleasant to eye to see an attacked focussed national team during start of the game as it has found 2 early goals with Cengiz Under and Keram Karaman and has dominated game from start to an end. As would been expected, with main focus is to keep its squad 100% without injuries prior to game against France it has aimed to provide controllable game which has been seen from both sides. Stating that, this plan didnt work out very well for a team as one of the key players of the side Cenk Tosun did become injured during game and has been taken from squad and likely not to be called back for France and Iceland game. Meanwhile, it needs to be also praised performance of Nazim Sangare who has started at national team for 1st time and has shown great and comfortable game in his debut.

Therefore, Turkey has shown a great and positive performance against Greece and would also aim to carry on like that against Uzbekistan on 2nd July and get right motivation for France game.

Akhisarspor has been most surprised sides among relegated.

Last team which this blog would analyse from last season which has been relegated is surprising side Akhisarspor, especially taking account that it has been relegated from last piece also during 2 weeks until end of the season.

Main reason why it is been highly surprised among all relegated sides is with performance it has shown during last season as it did provide lots of issues to top teams and also has won Turkish Cup and later Super Cup, but from start of the season it was unable to show high level performance.
Without doubt participation of Europa League, did also have negative impact to the team as it was not used to participate at Europe and domestically. In fact, clubs apart of top 4 does have an issue to provide high level performance at both teams with also mainly related to lack of squad. It needs to be stated that Akhisarspor in all respect and fairness did provide great performance at Turkish Cup reaching until final and providing some nervous times for Galatasaray but in overall it has lacked high level performance which was seen from team last season.

Denizlispor are back to Super League after 8 years. 

Last part of summarisation of last season and looking for next season would be given to promoted sides, start with champions of 1st league Denizlispor who has returned to top divison after 8 years.
