What happened in Turkish football today? 07.08.2016

Galatasaray has started transfer negotiations with Tolga Cigerci.

Galatasaray has announced today that it has started transfer negotiations with Hertha Berlin player Tolga Cigerci who has arrived to Istanbul today to conclude transfer negotiations. The following blog has given short preview of Tolga Cigerci yesterday and now team looks to be completed soon transfer.

The following transfer would surely make team much more stronger for next season as their is big hope for the young player who is among Turks who is living in Germany. He is expected to provide extra blood to the team which was missing at the team during last season and is highly expected to make transition from defence to forward much smoother at the field, as he is being quality midfielder.

As been mentioned at yesterday's blog, Tolga Cigerci has recieved high expectation from Galatasaray head coach Jan Olde Riekerink for next season and really wants to use him at the games.
It is expected that both team, player and Hertha Berlin will come to the final deal within few days and in first half of the week club will be able to transfer with his new team.

Jose Sosa is likely to stay at the Besiktas.

Besiktas negotiations with its current player Jose Sosa who is planning to leave the team might be concluded in a way which Besiktas was seeking for as their is expectation for Sosa to restart his training sessions in few days.

It is known that Jose Sosa is using political situation in Turkey and terror threats as an attempt to raise salary which he recieves from team and behind the scenes the player is demanding economical wants. Besiktas spokesman Metin Albayrak states that the team is having current negotiations where both sides are demanding economically measurs with both sides giving  their perspective and team is hoping that their will get upper hand. With Jose Sosa having trouble to find new team until end of the transfer window, it is now expected that Sosa would recieve raise of salary but not as much as he wanted as Besiktas would also provide its demands in those days.

It does look like both sides will get winning side with Besiktas able to keep him would even through look to be stronger even through it is questionable how Jose Sosa would perform at the league next season.

Robin van Persie expects to be ready for Europa League game against Grasshoppers.

Fenerbahce player Robin van Persie which carries on being pretty problematic player for a team is expected to stay at the team and in fact be ready for Europa League play-off round game against Grasshoppers.

It became clear during this week that Robin van Persie has refused to appear at the training sessions which raised some question about if he was really injured or he was using this as an excuse for not playing for a team. With rumours that Fenerbahce CEO Aziz Yildirim telling directly to Robin van Persie if he wants to stay or not it does look like he will take trainings more seriously taking account that he has hard job at finding preferable offer as he is still willing to gain some cash in upcoming years.

There is expectation that Robin van Persie would provide top football at the next season if he takes this season seriously but for this to take place there must be solved issues he has with head coach Vitor Pereira.
