What happened in Turkish football today? 09.08.2016

Jose Sosa will be staying at the Besiktas.

As was expected Besiktas player Jose Sosa has asked for apology from Besiktas due of his demands at leaving the team and this good will behaviour by him had led for apology to be expected. After this apology, Jose Sosa has joined team's training session yesterday evening.

Only day before Besiktas CEO Fikret Orman had stated that there is three options which Jose Sosa has in hand: apologize, leave to other team or join trainings of reserve team. From the situation it does look like that Sosa has chosen best option as it would been hard for him to find other teams. Therefore the fact that Jose Sosa will stay at the team didnt change and we came to same place as was last season in this question even through it became among most talked conversations during this summer winter break.

Besiktas didnt manage to make same deal with Mario Gomez but it is important to keep Jose Sosa at next season and only problem could be if this all those developments will affect performance of Sosa at team or not.

Galatasaray transfer Luis Cavanda performance wise provides many risks.

Galatasaray has made a transfer agreement with Trabzonspor player Luis Cavanda with a deal which is in fact very suitable for a team due of Financial Fair-Play regalations it has agreed with UEFA.

As been stated at our yesterday's blog, Galatasaray transfer of Luis Cavanda is not most ideal for a team due of problematic past of Cavanda however it did need a good new player who wouldnt cost much and would have enough potential to provide strong performance. Luis Cavanda has a chance to achieve that while being at new team with new aims, players and atmosphere. Possibly that
Galatasaray would surely also fight for league title would mean that the player will recieve additional motivation for next season. Transfer fee of the 1.8 million euro of course also follows FFP guidelines and will not be seen as big loss if Cavanda fails to provide top performance.

Galatasaray is going for big risk but if Cavanda does perform well than Galatasaray will have win-win situation.

Abdoulaye Ba would be big help to Alanyaspor for next season.

Alanyaspor, the newly-promoted team to the Super League, most eye-catching transfer of this summer has been Porto player Abdoulaye Ba, who was loaned to Fenerbahce, last season. It would be seen as surprise for Ba to move to Alanyaspor, but he is happy to make such a decision.

Abdoulaye Ba did provide low amount of games at the last season at the Fenerbahce mainly due of injury, but when he did play he provided pretty good performance. Joining promoted team who have some aims for its first season with its first time ever performance at top division could use incredible help from player with his experience and familiarity of the Super League. How much Ba would be use would be shown by time but with his attitude it does seem that he will play an important role if team at least will not be relegated next season.

Alanyaspor being a new team and making lots of transfer for preparation of tough league will in 2 weeks time show what kind of team it has created and how much it is in level of top division.
